BG91

Hope you're feeling better, Kenny!!

HBelmont67

Feel better, dude 🙏🏼

narutorunner

U da goat. But also, May not be a popular opinion but I'd support you taking days off when ur sick. Anyways get well soon!

Letts React

Haha I so appreciate that, but tbh I think the sickness may have been exhaustion from staying up till 3 am every day for a week crafting my first DND session. Good thing is it went FANTASTIC! I appreciate the concern though :)

Yuma Nanami

Its not a power boost to get the dagger, it was basically a way to show that they would die if they betrayed Kurupika. So no they dont have Daggers in them.

Cosmic Youth

It's a little unclear in the dub, but Gon and the boys were not looking to get a power boost against the troupe from Judgment Chain, they were offering Kurapika the opportunity to say "if you reveal my secrets to the troupe, you die" but as Kurapika said even if they did choose to betray him he wouldn't regret telling them because he loves them as his friends

HBelmont67

Glad it went well. Think you'll DM again, or was once tiring enough lol?

Ryan Tolbert

Woooo! Glad to hear it went well and glad you’re feeling better!

Popsus

Get well soon Kenny, my brother. Thank you for your efforts.

jolly

hope you guys feel better!!

Saiyasha

Get well soon, Kenny, I wish you a speedy recovery. Also, yep, Hisoka is compeltly talking out of his ass with that "I can#t say" stuff, just using it as an excuse not to get immediatly executed.

Saiyasha

Just to make it less confusing: No, Kurapika didn't put daggers in any of their hearts. Gon wanted it as Motivation and the other two would have gone along for moral support reasons, but Kurapika refused, instead 'pressuring' Gpn by saying that he trusts him as a friend, which is why Gon proclaims that it is way scarier to him to let down a friend than to risk his life. And honestly, Killua _really_ didn't find that funny. he is well aware that Gon _absolutely_ means that, that kid has _no_ sense of selpreservation. killua is very rightfully mainly worried about Gon in this episode, because he tends to go with his gut first and think about consequences later - which is the exact opposite of what Killua does.

MBH77

They wanna capture Pakunoda to prevent her from using her nen ability to read memories and discover more about Kurapika.

MattyG

Absolutely. I agree

Rainbae

I wasn’t interested in hunter hunter until you guys started watching it but the first few reactions got me so invested I watched it all and subbed to the patreon because I can’t wait for you both to react to it.

zachary karpiel

Lmao I've been a long time watcher on YouTube but finally caved getting the Patreon so I could ask questions cuz HxH is my favorite series

Tyler

I love seeing how quickly Killua has gotten so protective and defensive of Gon

David L

This. Despite his skill it's pretty likely he is a weaker fighter than most, if not all, of the Phantom Troop members. His advantage is that his win condition isn't being a better fighter, it's ensnaring them in Chain Jail; which means he only has to be strong enough to hold them off long enough to capture them like he did with Uvo. This becomes a lot harder to pull off if they know about his ability though, which makes someone like Pakunoda an S tier threat because not only can she figure out his identity, she could potentially figure out his abilities from Gon/Killua/Leorio.

Æther Paradox

Thanks for pumping this out for us Kenny. Do yall have enough patreons to hire an editor? It might take the load off you when you have a family to tend to as well as recording.

David Treago

"When they set that pin in the ground its like alright that's gonna happen" Kenny my friend, we skipped an entire tournament arc in the first story hook. They're gonna do what they want

Joshua Huppenthal

Some suggestions: The promised never land is really good, but also try Naoki Urasawa's Monster. You can find the dub on H! anime. I would love to see either one on the channel

Nickster

I would love to see them react to monster as well is it off of Netflix?

Letts React

Oh so I guess hisoka never fights Chrollo (I can guarantee you they’re gonna fight I feel it in my bones haha)

MattyG

Promised Neverland Season 1 is awesome. It's best to pretend that season 2 doesn't exist.

Waifu Connoisseur

Just to clear things up. Nen contracts/ conditions (and Nen in general) are a direct reflection of a person's will. If you make a contract with the intention of changing it later, it's gonna be weak. What Kurapika did was recognize a flaw in the contract he made and fixed it. You can technically change your contract as much as you want but it's not gonna mean anything if you don't intend on keeping it when it gets difficult.

cade-carter

PMN isnt worth it with how bad s2 is

I_am_Knowledge

30:21 What’s interesting is that you think that the type of “nen power” controls the fight and not the user. Remember Hisoka’s fight in the arena and how he won cause of how intelligently he fought

Landon Nguyen

Out of all the characters we have seen so far. Hisoka, despite his weirdness, is definitely the most interesting character in this kind of story. We first meet him as a clown but really he is a mastermind. He’s always where he wants to be. A mastermind dressed as a fool.

BennLimos

Your thought about how Kurapika's restriction to use the nen dagger was wishy-washy is actually justified, granted we only got so much explanation from him regarding this. The truth is there's more to Emperor Time and unfortunately you won't learn it from watching the anime. The anime finishes without getting THAT explanation. Without spoiling, the gist is Kurapika ain't telling us no lie when he said his risk would increase... There was a line in this epsiode which hints to that risk... He said, he "mastered the power in his middle finger by vowing never to release the chain and to always risk death..." and he can only use them when his eyes are scarlet... that and you remember from his fight with Uvo what he said when he released his Emperor time after the fight.

Joshua Huppenthal

No, the sub is still on Netflix, the dubbed version you can find on h!anime.com

Derrick C. Shields

"I never had any intention of using my dagger on any of you." "Sooooo... do they all have the daggers pointed at their hearts now, or...?" Truly, one of the greatest HxH mysteries. Fans still debate this question to this day.
