Let's go This Arc has been absolutely phenomenal. It's probably my favourite one but don't worry that doesn't mean the other ones will be not as good. I think the last one is objectively much better. I'm so excited for your reactions to the next Arc. East is the direction to go there Chrollo will find one who awaits him probably to help him with his situation otherwise he would be dead. And there are people who can undue other people's nen. This will be interesting Chrollo is probably my favourite character lol but that's mostly because of the Manga.

The thing that was stopping Kurapika from killing Chrollo after the exchange was his moral compass. he made a promise and he wasn't going to break it.

Since you’re through the Arc I can expound a little bit about my thoughts on Chrollo and the Troupe. I began to watch this show after My Hero Academia as well, and so naturally I compare the two power thieves, Chrollo and All For One. And that’s where I found a truly fascinating parallel, All For One spent the series playing the part of the ‘Villain’s Hero’ their version of All Might who would crush their enemies and guide them to victory as their beloved Master. Similar to Chrollo All For One commands immense personal loyalty from his subordinates (Gigantomachia and the Doctor namely) both of whom initially reject their Master’s chosen successor despite it being ‘the plan’ because they hold AFO in such high esteem. In parallel we have Chrollo who is similarly loved by his friends, and who the Troupe are willing to break their founding rule (protect the Spider) to try and save. Similar to AFO they hold him in such high regard they can’t imagine continuing without him. But now we reach the difference, All For One only truly cares about himself, his messianic facade is just that and he callously discards his pawns at any time for any reason…

Whereas Chrollo cries for Uvogin and truly does not value his own life over the Troupe. He IS the Hero of The Villains that AFO pretends to be

Fun fact that isn’t a spoiler since the show doesn’t discuss it and the arcs over kurapika has to pay to use his emperor time ability it’s not just free use he basically goes into a sort of coma equal to the amount of time he spent using the power idk the specifics since it’s manga only and im hoping for the anime to come back and pick up where it left off but a cool fact which is reflected in the anime

Basically he loses a hour off of his lifespan for every second he spends using Emperor Time. It also causes a crazy fever and potentially knocks him out for a while

I for real do not remember this arc being this long. But it's been a fun ride. I love how Melody is pretty much the only character that doesn't act like they're in an anime. The most level headed normal person in the bunch.

I understand that, but considering HxH has two weekly releases instead of the usual one, I think it'd be more than fair if they chose to temporarily devote one of those days to the new season.

While it can’t even classify as a spoiler since the anime doesn’t get that far I won’t go into details when I say that Chrollo would easily be your favorite spider if you read one particular thing he did in the Manga

I just realized nen after death/ residual nen was hinted at when Killua and Gon were buying up things at the auction before. When the mentioned a knife made long ago had auro seeping out. It's not really explored til recent chapters tho
