Real quick: what Crunchyroll membership tier do you guys use? Or do you mainly watch on Netflix?

robo

that final sequence is actually one of the “bonus comics” from the manga! it’s just a funny little extra story they have at the end of certain volumes

Reigen is soooo goated. I love that he even though he is weak and Mob is so strong that Reigen protects Mob. Because Mob is a child and Reigen is the adult, the power doesn’t matter, it’s Reigen’s responsibility to protect the kids and he does just that. Plus he knows that it will adversely affect Mob’s psyche so he shoulders everything. Such a great moment especially now as an adult watching instead of a being a kid myself. In all the other anime they let the kids fight in the dangerous wars against these dangerous opponents such My Hero and Naruto. And as a kid you are like yeah Naruto needs to fight or Deku needs to fight. But like bro why are these children fighting? They are 16😭 go do your homework. Why are these adults letting children fight😫 Reigen is goated.

As good as season one is, the show just keeps getting better from here and I think season two is one of the greatest seasons of any anime, period. You guys are gonna love it! Regarding the names -- they can definitely be confusing since they constantly switch between first and last names and the last names are very long. If it helps the names of the main characters are: Shigeo Kageyama (Mob) Ritsu Kageyama (Mob's brother) Teru Hanazawa (blond-haired esper kid mob fought) Since both mob and ritsu are kageyama, it can refer to either of them depending on the context. Hope that helps a bit.

Let's gooo!!! Season 2 really ups the show a lot can't wait for it. It really elevates the show in terms of story, characters and animation. One of the best seasons ever and with an amazing first episode :)

Love the shirt Kenny!

Yep. I agree. I specifically got a Season 2 Mob poster. My favorite season.

Tsuchinokos do not exist however they are real in Japanese folklore. In MGS3 its possible to catch and eat one! lol

zachary karpiel

They use Netflix. I am gonna warn them season three isn't on there lol

zachary karpiel

FYI since I'm pretty sure you're using Netflix!!! Netflix does NOT have the third season so you will need to switch to Crunchyroll or another streaming service unfortunately

yani

my autism relates so much to the emotional build up and meltdowns of the powers

HBelmont67

It's not? I thought the series ended, like, three years ago. Why does Netflix not have it?

HBelmont67

Also, it's not a Vinland Saga situation where Crunchyroll and Netflix have separate dubs, right?

Mantis

Mob is the autistic rep we needed 🥺

zachary karpiel

It's not on mine when I checked. Idk I remember when it came out I had to buy Crunchyroll just to watch it. I think it's a BS rights issue with Disney Crunchyroll and Netflix. I remember when I watched HxH the first time they didn't have the next arc so I had to switch platforms then too. But to answer the dub question, no the dub is produced by Crunchyroll so it's the same across all platforms.

zachary karpiel

Although if I remember correctly the VA for mob changes in season three because they did not want to deal with the SAGAFTRA union strikes

Brakthir

Reigen is probably one of my favorite anime characters of all time. ALL TIME.
