This episode is just All Might and Endeavor vibes combined. 🥲😭

David Garcia

Number 9 really saw the defense force using the bodies of their dead enemies as weapons and said “huh, that ain’t a bad idea” 😭

David Garcia

Isao my GOAT, so close to packing up number 9. I love that when Itami said you can’t fire that blast and survive, Isao fired off CONSECUTIVE blasts and still lived (kind of)

HBelmont67

Stand proud, Isao Shinomiya. You are strong. 🫡

HBelmont67

Isao contemplating how much weaker he's gotten since his wife died feels like a mirror to Kafka and Mina. Heck, he even said, "when I stood by your side." 😢 The parallels are there.

RIGHT IN THE FEELS!!! Thanks Kno9 😭

HBelmont67

It's an effective villain, that's for sure 😓

HBelmont67

I'm not sure whether to look at this episode's Hoshi Night Nippon as bittersweet or distasteful. 😹😿 Although, I guess it is kinda funny that Isao is a cat person given he's voiced by Aizawa, who's also a cat person.

7:26 It went by quickly, but #9 destroyed Kikoru's axe in their fight last episode, Kenny.

I didn't remember if y'all side anything about isao shinomiya but his VA is aizawa form my hero

HBelmont67

I feel ya. This episode hit WAY harder watching with these two than by myself.

I H.A.T.E. when characters break the Golden Rule of anime and attack DURING a power up. 😤 I don't care if it's working smarter; it still pisses me off. To this DAY, I'm still mad at Azula for shooting lightning at Aang while he went into the Avatar State, idc.

HBelmont67

"Is her doll her mom?" Thanks, Montana. Kikoru's childhood wasn't bittersweet enough. 😭

Ngl this is gonna sound awful but gonna power thru it this was the exact thing this show needed loss of a cool character make the enemy much more dangerous im very invested in what comes next
