The best thing about this season is the massive change in tone and pacing. I can't wait to watch you guys see what is to come.

Erin Ryan

"Are you okay with being treated like this" Thorfinn has been treated much worse his entire life having even having a little food brought to him is better than he ever has. This moment for some reason reminded me of when askladds men literally threw a bone for a starving 6 year old Thorfinn to eat

Horses are very loved on Ketils farm, finally an arc that doesn't put horses in grave danger

Jesse S

The English dub for this is actually pretty decent I’ve only seen it in sub

Dominic Sanjay

On top of everything else people say about this season I forgot how amazing the OST is

Erin Ryan

Gojos VA refuses to leave this show. First Halfdan, then Atli now Fox lol

Erin Ryan

The final scene was Thorfinn remembering the first time he saw a town raided as a child, just like Einar witnessed a raid as a child

Tyler Morris

yall should definitely listen to the outro! it’s one of my absolute favorites!

HBelmont67

They skipped it AGAIN?!

HBelmont67

*Kaiji Tang, and that means Atli and Fox AREN'T the same guy? Their voices and design were dang near identical, so I was confused.

Letts React

We skip every ending because we need to document our thoughts fresh after an episode and not have to deal with music copyright haha

Please let this just be a Vinland Saga problem 🙏🏻

If you aren't already aware and you're interested, theres two super short mini animations by MAPPA between episodes 6-7 and 18-19. If you look up Vinland Saga Season 2 episode 6.5 and episode 18.5 on youtube you can find both of them. They're both less than 2 minutes long and I think they're super interesting and hold a lot of metaphorical weight for the story if you want to check them out :)

Letts React

We've been doing this for every series since the dawn of time haha idk why u think we watch endings haha

Love your reactions. Just some mild criticism is that I see y'all trying to connect really vague plot points together (in this case, Thorfinn being responsible for Einher's village being attacked/burnt down) when a lot of the time, its totally disconnected events. I know anime has a tendency to have almost every plot point be interconnected in some way but a lot of events just happen separately and aren't connected whatsoever. Just a suggestion that not everything in a story is necessarily linked together to another character.

Trap_senpai_

They won't get the same emotions from the sub like in the sub. I love dub anime but some are pretty lack luster.. Vinland saga is no exception unfortunately.

Spooky_man

The burning village he remembered was the FIRST village he saw being pillaged back in 1x5

literally gave me chills on my first watch; magnificent visual storytelling there.

a lot of ppl seem to make that same mistake, i swear, it's likely because of how interconnected most narratives are with their various plot threads & characters.

Ryan Colt Levy was pretty great as Olmar. As seen by his work as Denji, he can be goofy. 😅
