Both seasons use the same motorcycle intro because Twin Engine produces and oversees the project , thats why the intro stays the same throughout both seasons. It's just the logo of the art studios that get swapped

BTW, in the Sentai dub of Vinland Saga, Snake is voiced by Chris Sabat. I was honestly disappointed when I got to his introduction on Netflix and heard someone ELSE. 🫤

What's funny is that Snake bears a slight resemblance to Yami Sukehiro, a character from Black Clover who's ALSO voiced by Chris Sabat. 🖤🍀

I think y'all still have the wrong impression of Thorfinn. He's not afraid because he's highly skilled and has fought way stronger enemies. He just simply doesn't care about himself or what happens to him at all. The old Thorfinn is gone.

I know the start to this season can feel slow for many, but to me… seeing how much Thorfinn has been changed by his experience and how he is haunted by his past are so narratively compelling. As someone who suffers from similar (albeit far less horrific) PTSD nightmares, I just love how accurately they portray the experience… and the emptiness you feel. For many years I didn’t want to live, didn’t believe I deserved to, yet… didn’t know why I was waking up in a cold sweat with my heart racing, I could just _feel_ it was something horrible. It was like my mind was trying as hard as it could to protect me from something terrible. Over time the things haunting me came into focus and became clear… and this is the only media I’ve ever seen that takes time to focus on the weight we carry because of the violence we experience and/or take part in.

I'd also approach this season differently than the first and generally shonen in general. It's a lot more mature and adult in how it approaches things.

It should be pointed out that this anime, especially s2, is NOT classified as Shonen. Its classified as Seinen, which is a category that's made for a more mature and adult demographic. Shonen is usually made for the teen demographic, so Seinen are more gritty and mature in the writing & content style. So going into this season I'd keep that in mind
