Crazy foreshadowing in this episode. Also even after seeing palm’s role in the series I still couldn’t come to like her so don’t think it’s wrong for them to not like her. She’s weird regardless of what her character is trying to portray

I mean palm can be more likeable character later over the ant Arc. I personally find her creepy till Ik more about her and or try to feel how that character feels and understand how they are the way they are even if they may seem creepy, an a**, or whatever. But the growth of each character no matter the series of anime is amazing in their own ways but for the plot palm and hisoka, ging, endeavor, have hateful moments through the series but can be likeable understanding their stories.

Pitou was the one who decided on some ability to put back together Kite. Does Pouf have the ability to puppet while Pitou stitches, or does Pouf just love his violin? I read Pouf as moreso playing for the sake of elegance and culturedness, given the framing of Youpi's birth, having Pouf play classical for a baby in the womb (though Youpi doesn't strike one as elegant...).

Well, Netero also has images of Morel and Knov in mind when he considers the mortality rate in this mission. He already set up the competition to only allow one group, so he can't be referring to "sacrificing" a competing group--winning and losing parties are already part of the competition. He's been unsettled by the ants every episode after entering NGL, and he thinks he can't compare even to the king's gaurds (no clue how serious he is, he is quite silly under normal circumstances). He seems to be thinking a deathless run will not be possible.

Tbh I think the worst characters for dad wise and just as a character himself is Shou Tucker from FMAB like come on. But also compared to endeavor dislike I feel Ging hate is understandable but then as y'all got to get to know endeavor more I feel in ways Ging could be understood as somewhat a likeable character. idk felt to just say since my other comment.

Palm is supposed to be off-putting and eerie. She was inspired in parts by a character from Jojos and Sadako(from the Ringu franchise). I think she is also a caricature of mental illness personified

I think theyve completely forgotten that this is a mini training arc specifically for Gon, Killua, Knuckle and Shoot. And about the Rook and Bishop tiles, which indicates who can fight who.

In the top 3 for worst dad's is definitely Bondrewd from Made In Abyss, whether he's worse or better than Shou Tucker really depends on if you find him actually caring about his kid(s) more important than the sheer amount of kids he's done some fucked up shit to that's way worse than Nina. Speaking of Made in Abyss, ignoring the weird shit the author does, I'd love to see their reaction to that series and it's incredible worldbuilding.
