Only 1 more and then a 5 month wait for the final episode🙏😭

Angel Medellin

season 8 episode 10 being posted at 8:10 for me is mad i love it

Knov or Morel

as a current Hunter X Hunter Manga reader, my patience has already been battle tested hahah. 5 months is a light stroll through the park in comparison

Titanizer

Y’all missed the end credit scene

Trey Goldsworthy

You guys missed a post credits scene this episode.

Indifferent Denji

I hope lady nagant and hawks arent gonna date shes like 14 years older than bro

Mark O'Leary

I like how they thought the anxiety thumps were shipping tease.

HBelmont67

Just one more episode . . .

HBelmont67

Man, I really wish we could've gotten audio for that final scene. I thought we were gonna hear Eri sing Hero Too. 😭😭

HBelmont67

You know what I realized? With Endeavor and Hawks out of the Hero game, Best Jeanist is now the de facto #1 Hero in Japan. 👖

HBelmont67

I mean, two things can be true. 😅

Limini

in this case tho it is explicitly bc they were both thinking of the villains they couldnt save. Deku wasn't even looking at Ochako when he had his thump. And Ochaco is unable to simply move on and think of more cheerful things like romance bc she is so guilt ridden.

Limini

Penultimate....

Mark O'Leary

No, cinematography and storytelling tells us he was looking at her. He was the only one who noticed her suffering.

Jinchuriki87

Make sure yall are paying attention to everything throughout the final episode. There were a couple small details I missed my first watch that just add more icing to the cake that is the next episode. But as others noted, there is ONE MORE episode/ova coming next year to animate the final chapter of the manga!!!

Limini

i hate harping on stuff like this but i wish the deku ochako convo dub was more faithful to the original

Limini

i'm talking about the one in the classroom. He noticed her suffering bc they were both going through the same thing which was hiding their pain at not being able to safe

Jinchuriki87

Side note: Lett's give a big shout out to Montana for being the one to know who this episode was about more than KENNY, especially since he's the one that got her into MHA! 🤣🤣

DoobyMcGooby

Lol I didnt expect to see my question you guys pretty much got the same opinion as me, looking forward to next ep😼😼

Natsuo Todoroki

I like the theme of survivor’s guilt here. Spinner, Midoriya, and Uraraka all have massive regrets over what happened and who was lost. It’s sad but also weirdly nice to see these people mourn what could’ve been. Goes to show what makes them “heroes.”

HBelmont67

Let it go, my guy. ❄️

James S

There was an end credits scene this episode by the way.

Kaiser

Nagant: I’m scared someone will use me again Hawks: Damn I was kinda hoping to use you for help

Tyler

seeing final episode next week in the description brings a tear to my eye

Joseph

Man I feel like crying now that this series is ending. I’m not a OG watcher of this series I think I started watching in season 4 and then stopped watching until season 6 was almost done airing, (wasn’t a big anime fan back then).

Gerardo Perez

You missed the post credit scene

Isaac

Fun detail: The My Villain Academia thing. During that arc Spinner was narrating that arc himself. Thats his book.

HBelmont67

I'm starting to think they aren't going to start Vigilantes after this season. 😓 Guess we'll have to wait till either Mob Psycho or Vinland Saga ends. 🤷🏼‍♂️

HBelmont67

I cannot wait, cause all of the post-series manga content Horikoshi's put out has been AMAZING.

Robert

Eri getting her singing momment, how she wants to share what made her happy and truly living how she wants to was just so vindicating and sweet. Also yeah heads up (and probably have been stated so many times), there is an extra special that is essentially Season 8 episode 12, coming in May 2nd 2026

123anaya14

You missed the post credit scene so...

Noboi

After the last episode's bizarre ending, I think this one is a massive breath of fresh air. It doesn't try to patch up the sadness and mourning with a happy, smiley moment and instead does it the other way around. While everyone is happy, Uraraka and Spinner are mourning what could have been, and Deku can't get Spinner out of his mind and comforts Uraraka in her grief. I hate to harp on things, but it's very night and day for me. The Todoroki family sendoff was handled super badly, so I'm happy to get a much better ending note for these characters.

Sickness

I figured by this point they would know to check for post credit scenes

Sickness

Spinner is making a comic to hopefully show how they turned into villains and humanize themselves in the eyes of the public. It isn't to try to push another generation of villains. It is to show that they weren't simply just villains. That is why Deku was so for it. He said make it a comic book because it might be able to push through to more people in the public and help them understand what created them as villains and how society is rigged against some people and their quirks.

Sickness

"Todoroki family sendoff was handled super badly". Sure buddy. Sure. Say you don't understand a storyline and writing without saying you don't understand it. Yikes.

I feel like in regards to the Toya-Enji storyline, this *is* the manifestation of Dabi's "Let's Dance In Hell" that Endeavor acknowledged multiple times. This *is* hell for both of them. Enji has to see his son in the worst state imaginable & face that pain every day, begging for atonement. While Toya has to suffer being alive in a state where all he can do is spend time with his father (& family). This is their Dance in Hell.

Toga just needed to be taught constructive outlets for her quirk and quirk based interests. Not just "eww blood is weird why do you like blood never do that" as her parents and students at her school tried. Just teach her about Mary Shelly and show her to the goths and she'll be fine. A lot think she can be a doctor and while possible she can also be something like a tattoo artist or other field that deals with blood a lot with no issue. Can even use her quirk to see how a tattoo will look on someone. If she wants ti be a hero she could be a great spy type hero too doing undercover work. I wonder if Vlad dealt with any stigma due to his quirk dealing with blood. Could be a good mentor. She was made to feel wrong and evil just for finding blood interesting. And then she ended up on the side of evil

Noboi

I will say, this being "hell" for Enji has always felt disingenuous by comparison. Like yeah, he has to see Toya, but like, Toya's the one actually going through it. Plus Enji recovers pretty well from his injuries and has a fair amount of people to support him while Toya gets a few visits a day and is hardly able to speak. Toya's hell ends when he dies, and Enji's "hell" is more down to him just having a somewhat disgraced life.

A lot of the league of villains show how society fail people i think and with Toga it is certainly a lesson of how treating something as a taboo can be dangerous. Spinner is clearly racism, Shigaraki is that waiting for a hero to do something is not enough (and that all for one is a pyscho) and Dabi is a very personal family failure. Toga fascinates me a lot because of how simple it can be and yet its still an issue in real life and the show.

Sprig Plantar

I disagree with them too but geez

Noboi

I love how you just assumed that I don't understand the storyline. It's not like people can have different opinions lol

Anime Lover24

lol hawks sticking his tongue out at nagant lol
