Your work ethic is ridiculous, I can’t believe yall actually dropped anything today, cause if it was me moving across the country, editing a reaction would be so far down the list. You guys rule 💪

Magnis

this dub is so good

Marshall Bowie

Please drop the next two together!!!!🙏🙏

Lyrical Kell of Music

It might be a lot to ask but I would love a triple drop, the episodes flow together very nicely

Personally, I don’t even think its a reminder of how much Canute has changed, the way Canute brushes his scar make me think that Canute assumes that thorfinn is still angry and might attack him the second he sees him. Both Thorfinn and Canute have changed a lot but in different ways. It feels like Canute grew into his station, while Thorfinn feels like he threw the man he was away and become someone new entirely.

Ryan Colt Levy kills it as Olmar in this episode. Crazy to think he's also Denji from Chainsaw Man. I feel like Denji's extreme upbringing would help him adapt better in this time period, ngl.

HBelmont67

Olmar's relationship with his brother is probably his most nuanced in this season. While Thorgil is 100% a bad influence on him, at the same time, he seems to actually give a crap about his younger brother and looks out for him when he wants to, and in a way his "Viking pride" will allow.

Goldy

Is still Denji with devil powers or normal denji? Because he was already barely getting by in a much “easier” society if we’re being objective

HBelmont67

I more meant from a character perspective with how he grew up, now power systems involved.

MossyCastle

Thorfinn is 6 to 17/18 during season 1 and about 19 to 21/22 during season 2

Tyler

Yeah when I first watched my initial thought was Canute’s reaction was one of fear like oh my god if he wanted to he could cut down every man here and kill me if he chose to

i’m few days late to the party with a hot take 😭 olmar is an incredible character, and this is definitely the episode we get to see him shine. he is strong enough to admit his faults and say that he’s scared even in a society that shames any such emotions. it’s impactful to see such deeply empathetic character learn how to survive in the violent world that surrounds him. watching him grow from his mistakes and take that step to break the cycle of violence was a huge moment. imo, he’s one of the most underrated characters in this season.

Again, you guys still don't understand Thorfinn. It isn't a "death wish", he doesn't want to hurt anyone so badly that he would let others hurt him. You know he could easily get through the soldiers but he has made a pact with himself that he will not hurt them. I could be wrong but this whole season Thorfinn hasn't hurt someone out of anger, at least since he made the pact with himself. That is the whole point.
