The dub is simply awful you guys lmfaoooo. I’ve been holding it for so long but god damn. You absolutely wasted this series watching it with mediocre actors playing these roles. Idgaf, it’s simply the truth. The original voice actors were actually ACTORS. Not people who took a gig for shit pay. This dub ruined too many scenes with bullshit translation. It’s gonna ruin the iconic episodes coming up too I just know it

Oh my god cry harder 🙄 first of all, you don't have to like the dub but to go so far as insulting the voice actors is not only unnecessary its out right rude for no reason. You act like voice acting in the west isnt a real job that people put their immense talent into, like are you okay?? And two, your opinion is valid but this is widely considered a great dub. And I get that sometimes it sucks that they have to change the translation for dubbing the lip movements and etc, But there's no need to bring this kind of aggressive energy into this space. Like if you hate it so much, then go watch the sub on your own or watch the countless reactions of it in sub on the internet.

I have to say, the crying is perfectly portrayed; despite the seeming exaggeration, that yelling is exactly what happens naturally. When I've been in that sort of distress, there was an actual need to do that sort of contained yelling. Togashi is a master for a reason.

Sure I like the sub better, but that’s no reason to hate on dub. Besides, even if Letts react could do sub (which they can’t) they’re far along enough that switching would be jarring, suddenly having a new voice for every character. It’s not like some questionable translations have stopped them from enjoying the show.
