Trevor initially comes off as pretty self interested, but then he starts to show how much he cares about the well-being of others. What are your thoughts on him as a character?

What do you guys think of Trevor’s family from the small hints or subtle comments that everyone in this episode seems to make after meeting him (comments seem to varied from person to person)? Trevor even mentions his family was the only family that could’ve fought draculas army yet they didn’t want his family’s help what are your thoughts on that?

We get introduced to the concept of speakers in this episode. A people who who seek knowledge to help others and refuse to write anything down. What are your first impressions of them and do you have any predictions about the grandchild Trevor is going to look for?

Poochie

In this episode, the Speakers put their hope in this ‘Sleeping Soldier’ who hasn’t appeared yet, do you think that belief is actually going to pay off, or is the show setting it up as a lost cause? It kind of reminds me of how hope in a lost Avatar paid off in the beginning of ATLA btw if you havent noticed already, Trevor's VA is Thorinn in the Hobbit trilogy

Not to give too loaded of a topic, but what do y’all think of the portrayal of the church so far? Good, bad, entirely corrupt, or just allowing too much?

HBelmont67

What is your take on the church's decision to excommunicate Trevor's family, despite them being arguably the most qualified for protecting the people from Dracula's horde?
