What do you think is going on/going to happen based off that last scene?

What are your thoughts on Concubine Lishu’s taster? Given she started out as a bully, trying to humiliate Lishu during the garden party by switching her dish with Gyokuyou’s, and is now depicted as the only lady in waiting caring enough to chase after Lishu when she ran towards Ah-Duo in the ending scene. Do you think their growing relationship will help Lady Lishu in future episodes, or do you think it could cause a rift between her and the rest of her already reluctant ladies in waiting?

One of the many things I have liked about this show is how they treat the agency of their female characters as a high priority that they value, despite of...or perhaps precisely because of...the limited power and social influence of women in this time and place. What do you think of the scene where Maomao gave the lady-in-waiting as much of an out as she could, given the circumstances, and what do you think it says about Maomao's sense of empathy and solidarity that she gave her the chance in the first place? P.S. Hadn't asked a question for one of your videos since Legend of Korra 4x03 over 5 years ago, but it's great to be back on Patron, and I'm so happy you are reacting to this wonderful show.
