We see both Sypha and Alucard realize they're becoming more like Trevor, ie abrasive and dispirited. While it's mainly played for comedy, do you think the both of them have gotten more of an understanding of why Trevor is the way he is after the previous season?

Towards the end of the episode we see Alucard give the messenger a proper burial and not stick him on a pike, which there are quite a few more of. What does this say about his psyche and/or attitude towards humans?
