We’re back at the infamous Targoviste; the place that Dracula’s war against humanity started. How do you think everyone’s mental state has evolved since the beginning of this show? Trevor & Sypha’s eternal battles, Carmilla’s motivations, Hector’s imprisonment, or even the people who simply live in this city?

Hector is obviously the literal prisoner in the castle, but Lenore also seems increasingly unhappy and unsure of her place now that Carmilla’s plans are becoming more extreme and leave little room for diplomacy. Do you think the episode is suggesting that Lenore is becoming trapped by Carmilla’s ambitions in her own way, and how does that compare with Hector’s situation?

2026-09-08 02:00 Was Hector and Lenore's dynamic this episode at all what you were expecting after the ending of last season? Given she successfully acquiesced the Forgemaster into the servitude, do you see this as Lenore being her authentic self?
