He JUST got here, and a stable of Dandadan's writing is introducing characters you think you'll dislike, then doing a 180 and getting you to enjoy them. Tatsu already did it with Aira and Jiji, and trust me: Kinta is no exception.

One part of this episode I really like is how nice Momo was to Kinta when she initially thought he and Okarun were friends (before he opened his mouth haha). Momo knows how lonely Okarun was prior to meeting her, so seeing him apparently make a friend himself would be nice to see.

I really love the way they make us relive the first day at school after the first incident showing us there was another POV right there this entire time lmao

There’s a trope in Japanese school dramas and stuff where girls who are loud/brash/assertive/delinquent adjacent will bully or force meek boys to be their gofers, buy them drinks and snacks, etc. so the class rep thought Ken was being bullied by Momo. Though in plenty of those shows and mangas there’s often a slow burn romance happening too, like a slightly milder “enemies to lovers” type thing.

Yay Kinta! I love his awkward, goofy ass. If you guys were at all interested in dipping a foot into Gundam, I recommend The Witch From Mercury. It's a short (24 episodes only), self contained series. You don't need any outside knowledge for it since it's set in a separate universe from the rest of Gundam.
