Guru_Rick_

and K & M your clarification kang tao is a bit like arasaka but where arasaka is from Japanese the original kang tao is from China

I really like Talia's little holographic mouth, and wish that kinda cyberware was in the game itself.

Rob Carlstrom

Its worth noting that most everyone has at least some minimal implants, mainly to interface with the world around them everyone has a personal link, which is sort of like having a smart phone in our day and age its almost a requirement. Also kenny if you havent played the game and enjoy a good rpg, id say cyberpunk 2077 is more than worth a play through

"He let Mr. Krabbs out too much with this line." Hahahaha, Clancy Brown does great in this role, but you're not wrong. 😂

HBelmont67

D is such a Sasuke ripoff, and I love how goofy they make him sometimes, along with being cool. 😆 Though, he kinda sounds like Fushiguro or even Okarun (in Turbo Granny form).

Juan Solo

To be fair to Avida, she wasn't trying to manipulate Weak at first. She only told him Talia was his daughter once it was clear he wasn't going to help. Should he have known anyway? Yeah, but clearly whatever history there is between the two gave Avida a good reason to keep King out of Talia's life until her's was on the line.

Juan Solo

D: "Watch this..." *proceeds to get knocked out for a day* 😆

Juan Solo

I'm kind of surprised Kenny hasn't noticed the similarities.

Juan Solo

Considering how popular Edgerunners has become, there's a chance we could see cyberware/cosmetics from both seasons in Cyberpunk 2.

Link

I love that he was dubbed Cyber-Sasuke since the first teaser trailer :D There's so many similarities, not just in looks but also in backstory.

HBelmont67

D's much more of a goofball than I was initially expecting lol. He says a cool line knowing he's being baited into a trap, and falls into it anyway. 😂

Juan Solo

"The trap isn't a trap if you know the trap is trying to trap you, its a face-off." – D, probably

I can see the clear design inspirations, and his backstory with the death of his clan, hell, even “Snake Nation” fits. But I also think Sasuke is like, maybe the worst high profile example of the archetype. D is a lot more emotionally intelligent and open than Sasuke, he doesn’t keep his shit bottled up the same way, he’s quick to trust and wants to give people the benefit of the doubt even after being hurt so badly.

Graham

I love the little things in this show, like how in the scene at Tom’s Diner, King is hiding his shitty little claw hand from Avida behind his one sorta-normal hand. Even as he’s telling her he’s not the hardened, reliable solo anymore, he can’t bring himself to tell her the full extent of how bad things actually are for him.
