just finished watching through this entire collection again with you guys and it was such a delight to once more experience this show. i have my own rewatch planned of the entire franchise, set up so that i watch this episode on the exact day of the 10th anniversary of Korrasami becoming official and i already can't wait, because....i'm going to say something possibly heretical that may get my fandom card revoked....but i honestly enjoy Legend of Korra even MORE than i enjoy ATLA. which is already a high bar. korra's arc and growth are unlike most things i've seen and the emotions i felt throughout this series have rarely been matched by anything else. big shoutout to Jeremy Zuckerman for his incredible score for this show, really sells the emotions in the big scenes. i STILL get goosebumps and tears in my eyes in certain moments in this show

also, i know this is many years later and you two have possibly done this already, but DEFINITELY check out the Korra comics as well. I love turf wars for all the cute gay shit, and then Ruins of the Empire delving into Kuvira more? Adore it.

Chelle

Right on time, I just woke up lol

Zak Moran

Surreal, it's been a ride yall

Malik

This was a great journey with you both for the Avatar universe. Can’t wait for the other shows!!!

Simon Gilbert

Jim clifton

Thank you kenny and Montana this was an amazing journey, I cant wait to see more anime reactions:)

adelitasart

okay the beginning really made me cry!! then when you guys saw korrasami go on vacation together ahhh. you guys should definitely really read turfwars! which is the comic book that continues from the finale!! can't wait to watch which ever series you guys chose to watch!

Suplee215

from what I saw, it was season 2 and 3 when Korrasami was decided by the writers but still they only did subtext. amazing seeing you react to this and I hope you read the comics that begin literalyl in the middle of the vacation

mel

Thank you for the Journey, onto the next with you two 😊💕

Jonathan Harding

Tearbending right along with Montana here...

Justin

Had fun with yah 2 thanks for letting us ride along

I'm SO glad y'all saw Korra for what it is! It's a brilliant show with a well written story and characters and I genuinely don't understand the hate that it receives. I wish people wouldn't judge the show based on a few instances like when the connection to the past avatars was lost. Like, that sucks, but it makes sense in the context of the show. People also call Korra the weakest avatar but I think she's been the strongest one! Between Aang and her Korra had way more development and growth. That's not to say Aang isn't a great character, but he wasn't ever fleshed out the way the other characters were in ATLA or how Korra was. I'm glad you guys didn't have a biased opinion of the show and watched it as it's own thing because unfortunately a lot of people judge Korra because they hold it to the standards on ATLA and the 2 shows are just very different and aren't comparable.

G

I’m so glad you guys didn’t listen to the haters and loved the show for what it is. ❤️ It truly is an overhated series and partially the reason for that is due to some of the top reviews on Youtube being rather negative, unfortunately. But anyway, thanks for such an amazing journey, and I can’t wait to jump back in once we get our first taste of what Avatar Studios brings us in the future!

G
>>62497226

oh i would love to see a stream where they react to the comics, they would definitely enjoy them

G

Also I didn’t expect my comment to make it at the end ahhh, I just love the brothers, they are so under appreciated but we stan them in this house. Hopefully Avatar Studios delivers and gives us an animated Korrasami kiss that we deserve 🤞🏼

Sky Girl

Thank you for these reactions! The avatar world (especially Korra) has a special place in my heart and I love watching people fall in love with the world as well. I'd love to see you guys react to the avatar world comics! And maybe a review of the kyoshi books?!

AverageAnime

You should definitely listen to the live read of Turfwars by Korra & Asami's VAs. There's an unofficial edit of it over the motion comic, but the official with just the voices is great too. It works very well as a radio play. Only downside is that it's not the full cast, but it is perfect for the beginning Korrasami scenes. Looking forward to seeing She-Ra & Young Justice, whenever they come out.

Shado

Who's cutting onions in here?

Ashley Blue

PLEASE react to the voice actors read through of the first chapter of the Korra comics!!! It takes place immediately after the finale and gives a little conclusion to what this episode had to leave out ;))). There's even a video on youtube where someone overlayed the comic panels over the read through and even animated a part of it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylU-ksQP4FE&t=535s&ab_channel=princefiction

Alec Campo

You HAVE to read the Turf War Korra comic. It is ESSENTIAL lol. No spoilers, but they don’t have to follow executive decisions when making comics, so they can portray anything they want!

Theo Brown

Amazing! Thank you for letting us watch your journey. Please react to the comics and video essays on the Avatar Verse would be super awesome to watch!

Aya Levin

You guys have to look at the fan art/drawn thing of Korra and Asami kissing in the spirit portal. It's gold.

TrixieTurner

Oh this has been a journey, I'm happy I was able to be here for it Korra is for sure one of my all time favorite shows and I'm glad it lead me to this channel, hard to believe how long this has been.

SweetCandle

"Sometimes a good evacuation is its own reward." It that a poop joke?

Christopher Johnson

Crazy coincidence- you guys posted this on the day of my high school graduation. Really feels like closing journeys together, albeit two very different journeys. On a side note, it’s been amazing experiencing this series again with you guys, i rewatched both shows with you and was watching with you guys on tik tok since around episode 3 or 4. Watching this really felt like it was ending all over again in the best way possible. Can’t wait to see what y’all do next, I especially can’t wait to experience young justice and teen Titans all over again with you

Ella
>>62497355

yuppp that’s when they decided to execute korrasami, but the idea actually came up first during season 1 sort of like a joke where it was like “haha well what if they got together” moment

Ella

I’m sooo sad you guys finished korra, these reactions were the highlights of my week. i cant wait for AOT, She-Ra, Young Justice, and Teen titans though! I love them all and i know you guys will too. I really hope you guys also end up reacting to Turf Wars and Ruins of the Empire (the korra comics) too!

Izrail Gevorgyan

Wow, thank you so much Kenny and Montana, y’all are exactly right, to everyone who hates on Korra. You are wrong. It’s an absolute beautiful show all around. Y’all are the first content creators that I genuinely want to invest in, and I am super excited for what the future brings for Letts Create. THANK YOU!!

Norrin Radd

You guys wont be able to recapture this magic until you get to Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood in a year or so. Shows like this are few and far between. Loved the reactions!

Vanessa Bristlin

It was amazing watching your guys journey through the series! I got so excited every time I saw a notification! If you do the comics I know they have voiced over them, and are posted on YouTube with Janet, and Seychelle! And other ones too!

VK

Thanks for the journey! Much love y’all!

Jackie

Mako probably was inspired by Korra’s self-sacrificing moment in S3. I love this development. I love every characters in this show and thanks for appreciating this show and giving it a chance. I’ll miss watching the show with you but excited for what’s upcoming 👏🏼👏🏼

Krista Han

Thank you so much for this beautiful journey ^^ It would be awesome to see you react to the comics/books. And I can't wait for the new AvatarVerse content and your reactions to them. And the new shows! When one door closes, a new one opens! Definitely will support you through thick and thin, you guys are by far my favorite reactors of everything :) Sending much love from Finland!

Eglė

I really like Kenny's analysis of Korra's and Aang's character arcs. I think that sentiment Kenny expressed extends to both series too. I personally watch ATLA when I want a classic, simple and joyful story that my inner child enjoys. It's goofy, full of adventures and yet it touches upon so many difficult themes. However, it's pretty black and white at times. That makes sense though cause ATLA is for kids. LoK is obviously for more mature audiences. The show takes some brave decisions and explores so many grey areas and yet it's still full of so much beauty. I watch LoK when I want to get inspired. Korra's journey makes me feel strong and hopeful. Just to address the hate Korra receives: I think it's pretty clear at this point that some ATLA fans dislike the show cause Korra's a brown woman who's a pure badass. And she's at the center of this story. That probably doesn't sit well with some ppl. It's a pity but it's also their loss. Anyway, thanks for putting it all together guys. it's been a pleasure and it's been emotional. Looking forward to more content. Much love <3 <3

Drengle

The little bisexual ✌ was so cute

Macayla Cody

So the music while Mako was lightning bending is called "Makos sacrifice", and it is honestly one of my favorite pieces of music from Korra.

Frederique

Okay, so, we are doing this hmmm? Let's see if I can do this without tearbending. xD I came here for relaxing Avatar reactions. If you had told me that I would be your Patreon, when I watched your first video, I would have laughed. I came for Avatar, but I, and many with me, will stay for you. Yes, we want to stay to see you react to a big multiple of series. We want to stay to see and help the channel grow to highs that we can't imagine now. But the main reason I stay is because you two are beautiful people, putting your soul in the work. Thank you for the journey with Avatar. Many more journeys will come and go, but the Avatar one will always have a special place for me. Keep going. I am looking forward to all your/our future projects. We are al at your side, wherever the road leads. <3

Victoria G

Loved watching along with you two! Your reactions and verdicts are an absolutely lovely combination of insightful and adorable. Very much looking forward to whatever comes next!!

Will M.

It's bittersweet to see this end. Loved this series. I remember waiting hours to get parts when everything was on TikTok. Can't wait for the next journey with you guys!

Michael Rojas

It’s been a hell of a ride ya’ll. Honestly I would get food after work and watch your reactions and they were 30 minutes of peace every time lol. Thank ya’ll for giving this show a watch. 🤞🏽

SupremeCai

Although I have mixed feelings about the finale, I love Korra overall and am so glad you guys gave it a shot and ignored the people comparing the two shows way too much. Can't wait for whatever is next for Avatar Studios! (Maybe check out the Mako/Bolin short + a few others, and read some Atla/Korra comics?)

myownzinger

guyss i'm so so excited for you to watch she ra I hope you can get to it this next round

myownzinger

watching you guys react to the whole avatar series has been just such a joy. I hope you get a chance to read the korra comics, they're so good and I think you'll REALLY be happy with where Turf Wars picks up.... :D

Rose

Sooooo are you going to read turf wars? And ruins of the empire? The LOK out rank the ATLA comics

Star Chaser

I got such goosebumps when Korra saved Kuvira from that energy beam! This has been such an amazing journey... Love you guys, and can't wait to see you react to the new series!

Sam Noel

Absolutely love Korra. The last episode was filled so much things like Korra saving Kuvira's life more than once; Korrasami coming alive; Varrick and Zhu Li's wedding was magical. Your reactions to the whole series have been amazing and can not wait to see what you react to next. All four options are great any of them would be perfect to see your reaction to. You must read or react to the Korra comics as well which continue on after this.

Rayan Hajj

definitely would love seeing you reading atleast the first korra comic

thomas dougherty

I do agree that korra as a character had more development through her series and an incredible arch, but I wouldn't exactly say she persevered more than aang. Aang at the age of 12 woke up after being frozen in ice for a century, finds out his entire nation and just about everyone he knew are gone, the entire world is in despair, and he had to learn and master all the elements to end a war in the spam of nine months. They both had to go through so much in both series and were both incredible going through what they had to go through, but i think the reason why you don't see huge character development from aang is because the short time frame we get, so there isn't much time for him to reflect and deal with the trauma and grow. In korra there were years, or months in between every season so there was more time to see her grow up and have an incredible character arch. Love your guys reactions and can't wait to see more!

Jane Heathcote

i would ADORE seeing video essay style videos in the future - one of my favorite things about your reactions have been the thought provoking discussions of themes and character arcs and meaningful moments!!

Hayley

I can’t believe it’s over! Been watching since the TikTok days. Thanks for giving me something to look forward to every week. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for you two ❤️

WithStylePetite

I want to see both of your top 10 character lists in a video!

Julian

I feel like you might've missed it but the last spoken word was "perfect" which is also the last word in ATLA. :)

Life Mushroom

Turf Wars, Ruins of the Empire, Lost Pets, Friends for Life are all of the Korra comics!

Hipnopotamussus

Janet Varney and Dante Basco the voices of Korra and Zuko started a podcast call braving the elements recently. Just had Mike and Bryan on. You guys might be interested in listening to it.

Garry00

Just now getting around to watching the finale for the first time, I wanted to experience it with you two. Your intro alone already brought me to tears, thank you. Thank you for everything so far.
