I'm 3 years late but I came here to say this - the female titan is crying because she was so close to retrieving eren and putting a stop to this mission. she didn't WANT to continue it

Mike burns

I clicked it and it said video does not exist

Alexander Kennedy

DAMN KENNY it’s okay to take a break every once in a while 😭❤️ good work bro

Haorii

Kenny you master of editbending 😁 btw I would love to draw a fanart of you in an artstyle of a show some day. Would you like that?

Robin B

Hey Kenny, I just wanted to say my name is displayed twice in the Patreon list. Once for tier 2, and once for tier 3 (annual). I upgraded my tier a few weeks ago, so that's why you didn't notice :D (Not like it bothers me but you could use the extra space lmao)

Bobby P

Montana being asked if she wants to watch the next episode “is it better?” You poor sweet soul you have no idea.

Also, can't wait tee Montana's reaction to next episode !

Destiny (deshopeo9)

Ok need to know if I understood correctly, but when Petra's dad was talking to Levi did he hint at the fact they were engaged?!? If so that makes it even more heart breaking from Levi's point of view.

It's implied that Petra had feelings for Levi, yes, but they weren't engaged.

pineapplegreg

Seeing Petra's body get thrown out of the cart always breaks my heart

I was rly hoping Kenny would pick up on this one moment with the female Titan at the end of the fight but I don’t think he did. The female Titan is actually crying out of sadness as Levi and Mikasa were flying off after saving Eren, not due to pain from the fight. It’s a rly important moment of the *female titans* character, especially as you learn more as the seasons go on

My interpretation has always been that she was crying because she failed her mission and Eren escaped, even after everything that took place. I think I know what you're talking about though.

Yea you’re right, that’s what I was implying. It also seemed like she rushed the mission as she was the only one of the three who were involved with this attempt. Manga readers know even more about why this attempt was so important to *female Titan user*

Let's not get into spoiler territory folks, just for the people who haven't seen the rest yet

Another excellent reaction. Regarding the next episodes, Kenny, could you talk a bit about the plans for what order you're watching next? It doesn't have to be set in stone, but what are you planning to do for the next watches, a bunch of one and then some of the other or all the way through on one and then the other. Thanks!

Chelle

Oh man next episode… what’s Montana’s opinion gonna be on what happens there? I’m super hyped

ToastGhost

That patch wasn’t Ivan’s, it was Petra’s. Levi gave it up to comfort his comrade

Kiwierror

Fun fact but really really sad fact: The patch that Levi gave the soldier wasn't Ivans but was actually Petra's (you can tell bc Levi took the patch off of the smallest body on Levi squad before Ivan's body was even recovered), which makes the scene where her dad was talking to Levi about marriage even harder to watch.

Dontrell Durant

I just noticed the music they played here during the whole sad part is the same one played in season 2 episode 12. It’s just the instruments but it’s the same

Not to mention the fact that Levi was never shown to be in the vicinity of Ivan's corpse. The guy lost the corpse during the chase after all.
