Both Reiner and Bertholdt were initially surprised by Ymir’s transformation into a Titan and her assumption of their connection to the Beast Titan. What could possibly explain Ymir having separate goals from Reiner and Bertholdt and not knowing them, yet still being a human Titan similar to them?
