I think the power stone Hordak has is like a "stone" from Entrapta. So that makes the scene where he's desperately trying to get it, and finally just crawling up to pick it and hold it, much more impactful.

It amazes me that despite both entrapta and hordak being so smart neither of them thought to not leave vital weak point to the only thing that can help his disability out in the open and vulnerable.

I love the outfit updates, I especially love how Catra’s updates are pretty simple too and yet make her look older and more intimidating in way that has me constantly questioning how I can be attracted to a character this much.

I don't know if you folks noticed, but the bit where Hordak walks up to see Catra on his throne is a very audible purr because Catra is feeling mighty pleased with herself. I love spotting the purring, Catra is just such a cat. :D

Also yess, so pleased y'all are at one of the best seasons and so excited to follow your journey through to the end. It's going to be amazing and I'd love for you folks to do a Q&A maybe after finishing a show that has show-wide questions about characters, messages, themes, etc. Something to consider maybe as a full discussion in the future.

I also love spotting the purring. It's something I didn't notice the first few times I watched the show. But it's def a nice subtle detail they add in there in a few episodes.

if you take a look at s4 catras new outfit, you notice that her right arm is completely covered in a sleeve, while her left is exposed. her right arm was the one damaged in the portal. Coincidence? I think not.

Horde Prime is still in another dimension/universe. Etheria remains in the pocket dimension of Despondos & Horde Prime is a busy man... thing. He is the ruler of a multi-galaxy, pan-universal empire, homie has a full plate. Remember, he sent Hordak to die on the frontlines because he was a "defect" right ? Why would we expect Horde Prime to just drop what's he's doing & portal to Etheria ?

Yep, true. To Prime, Etheria is just another planet to conquer and he's already got so many conquered already. Also, with a giant force, it's had to make any decision super fast. He probably already had plans ongoing and will take some time to factor in this new thing. Good times ahead while we wait :D

I think the time scale of the show is 3 or 4 years overall with about a year for each season (2&3 classing as one season that is)

My favorite part of this episode has to be the very end. I absolutely adore Catra throwing Hordak's words back at him: "I think you and I are going to do great things together." The role reversal here is a huge deal. And while I know she's evil right here... damn, if she ain't hot! What the hell, guys. Not fair. ~lol~

I don't know why Glimmer doesnt get wings maybe because she is more magical oriented like her dad but I feel like they showed those wings for a reason , I also think people forget about the extra layer of sadness to Glimmers loss because she never thought this was possible to lose her mom because as we found out in season one Queen Angela is Immortal.

I remember really resonating with this episode because my mom had recently passed away. She was a lot like Angella too which just made it even more impactful. I was full on tear bending, especially after Glimmer expressed why she was upset at everyone trying to make everything seem perfect when it was actually the worst day imaginable for her.

Holy shit I can't believe I didn't realize it at the time, but Catra's final line in the episodes, "I think you and I are going to do great things together," is almost a 1:1 mirror of what Shadow Weaver always says to her unfortunate protégés. She certainly has learned well :(

I didn't notice until this time that Adora says Angella's last words were for her to take care of everyone, and Angella actually said to take care of each other. Once again, Adora puts all the burdens and responsibilities onto herself alone.
