Alex Balian

Im not gonna lie watching this episode is actually insane now after watching the newest episode to come out

Ryan Gigarjian

Love your reactions!! Can’t wait to see how you both react to where the anime is at currently 😄

fr0st

Yesss! Are you planning to set up question posts for S4 soon? I have many questions noted.

Macayla Cody

Seeing all the dots connect and thoughts branch off in Montana's head is amazing.

Darby

As someone who also followed the same Avatar to Korra to Shera to Attack on titan pipeline, watch Death Note! I think it's a great transition out of AOT and you would love the cerebral/investigative nature of the plot!

Kyle cazares

After watching the most resent episode to come out all I can say is you timed the release of the last two episodes perfectly!

ajams22

Oh my goddddd that last part always gets me when he says save Mikasa and Armin with the music 😭😭😭

Kyle cazares

Also apparently in Japanese “attack titan” directly translates to the shows tittle. Attack on titan is a mistranslation but the people behind the show thought it was a catcher name. My source is other people on the internet so gain of salt

Evan O'Carroll

Watching this episode after the most recent episode has me mind blown

Cynthia Silva

Y’all are gonna be SHOOK when y’all see season 4

Deebus

Montana has BIG BRAIN Energy

Tom Johnson

You both would absolutely love Full Metal Alchemist, plus it’s got one of the best dubs of any anime 👌

Izrail Gevorgyan

Y’all have to watch FMAB, one of the most incredible animes imo!

Matt Lievens

I think you should eventually watch both, but I vote Death Note for the next anime.

fr0st

Also shout out to Kenny's hair. Is it for a Levi cosplay, because getting serious Levi hairstyle vibes here!

CharlesZane

I'd like to see you react to Arcane together.

Himal Patel

For those that are watching season 4 part 2... iykyk

Tim Itnyre

Definitely Death Note should be next!

Cas_nc12

I would love a video of you two sharing theory once you get caught up

Robin B

What a great episode! Loved Montana's pickachu face lmao xD But I feel like the sound of the ending theme (of the AOT episode) is a bit loud and it makes it a bit difficult to hear your voices, especially for non English native speakers :( But keep up the great work, as you said, we're here on Patreon because we like what YOU do!

Logan Griffiths

when they see the most recent episode of season 4 they are gonna shit a brick

Ashley Garcia

Watching y’all watch this, as I am currently watching season 4 come out, has me so shook man lmao I can’t wait till y’all are caught up

Ci-Ci

I’m in the same boat as Kenny rn 😂 I am rewatching along with you guys and holding off on the rest of season 4 until it’s all released and I have put so many little strings together upon rewatch and listening to you guys discuss! Its honestly wild how well done and complex this series is!

christian

Montana read the manga. This is the only explanation.

christian

Also, is Kenny watching the episodes as they come out? His reactions would suggest he watched the newest episode... or my comprehension skills just need work.

Ci-Ci
>>77055354

Yes I agree! Maybe as an interlude special after attack on titan, since there is only one season so far? It’s so amazing and right up both Kenny and Montana’s alley!

Ci-Ci
>>77058361

No I believe he has only seen up to episode 7 of the season 4.

Sebastián Zavaleta B

Honestly I would really like both of you to watch Fullmetal alchemist ^^

Kian

Montana seems to be doing so so much better! Loved every single second of this reaction

fr0st

Also you can't go wrong with either Death Note or FMA. FMA is more magical systems and similar themes to AoT about what is worth sacrificing and is authority ever trustworthy, while Death Note is more of a chess game. Looking forward to both!

LadyBee

Def DeathNote. I finally decided to watch it for the first time and inhaled the entire 30 something episodes in two days. LOTS OF CLIFFHANGER EPISODES

PsychJay

I love how every other reactors just sh!ts bricks at the Mikasa and Armin line and doesn’t know what to make of it; but Montana goes straight to “this is what has to be happening”. Love it, she is a genius. Even when she’s wrong the logic is sound 👌🏾

Belle M

Well mind blown but also my vote goes to FMAB and then Death Note (or another option, there are many lol)

John Victor Oak

Also, did Kenny really watch this before? LOL He forgot some pivotal, central, iconical and unforgettable AOT plot stuff.

Daniel Schulze

Death note would provide some serious discussion points!

panko6

I personally like FMA:B more but I have to vote for Death Note. I think Montana would enjoy trying to analyze everything

Gonza Antonio

Man the only thing i dont like about this is that is being watched as a dub and not a sub, the voice actors in japanese really make a lot of this scenes much much more awesome and transmit a lot more emotions (grieshas VA no good) and dont even get me started on Erens and Reiners titans screams...yuck.

Letts React
>>77059845

Thanks so much! Really made Montana’s day reading a comment like this :) she’s been working hard, and feeling SO MUCH BETTER

John Victor Oak
>>77060356

After watching them experience AOT I feel like it would be better if they watched something simpler and with explanations more in the open, so def FMAB over Death Note. FMAB do have some mysteries and all but once they're explained it's just crytal clear and nothing that needs to be well thought of.

Damian Litwin
>>77062895

I actually love the fact that they’re watching dub, and how on earth is that a complaint for you 3 seasons in?

Damian Litwin

FMAB has to be next, but if you choose Death Note we really can’t complain, both are phenomenal picks

Gonza Antonio
>>77064349

I actually said something about Erens attack titans scream before and well the VAs so far have been ok but Grieshas VA on this last 2 episodes was meh...not even close to what the japanese VA transmits but just watching Montana and Kenny reacting more than makes up for it, they are great.

Taizen

Even to this day, I grieve for Ymir and Historia's tragic love story. I just want those two to live happily together as a couple. They deserve it after going through so much. But the world and their situations are far too harsh and cruel to allow it.

Al C

Love all of your content guys, would love a full Arcane reaction from both of you. I would love to hear your thoughts and analysis on it.

Justin Spencer

And finally those of us who are currently caught up take on the role of Kenny the journey ahead will definitely be fun to watch (side note: Kenny you should come back to this exact episode when you get caught up)

JennatheBreadQueen
>>77062895

Both montana and kenny have explained their auditory processing issues. I myself have these problems, and it really takes away from experiencing the show when you’re trying to balance everything out. I already know i’m going to have to rewatch the current episodes to fully understand them as soon as they’re out in english. i get that this is a complaint for people, but it’s something out of their control

JennatheBreadQueen

i would LOVE a video where y’all theorize together!!!! that would be so fun and then when you finish the series you’ll have those moments where you find out what you’re right and wrong about!

Gonza Antonio
>>77062895

JennatheBreadQueen oh i see i didnt see that explanation and its understandable, i myself dont have any problems with subs actually the dub kinda takes me away a bit from whats happening. Might be because im used to watching it in japanese and the VAs there really are at another level

karstenj10
>>77057194

Ahahha there’s gonna be a span of like 5-8 episodes that will have them like 😧😧😧 the entire time, starting with the 2 brothers ep

karstenj10

And with that, Kenny is now in the dark just as much as Montana. Rly looking forward to seeing them react to the new developments that aot introduces in season 4, especially in the most recent episodes. And as someone who’s completed the story, rewatching the story AGAIN after knowing everything is even more eye opening, rly hope they both give aot a rewatch at some point in the future. Also for some anime recommendations, I highly suggest either Death Note or Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I think Kenny has seen both of those though so for a show that both of you are new to… I suggest “Monster”. Monster is a psychological thriller that’s 74 episodes long and like Attack on Titan, is masterfully written.

gabe killian

the name of Eren's Titan has more meaning in the original Japanese. The name of the show in Japanese is Shingeki no Kyojin, and that's also the name of the Attack Titan in Japanese.

e4gle i

You should definitely watch both Death Note and FMAB. They’re both great anime with great English dubs and they’re not super long. I’m partial to FMAB though because it’s my favorite all time.

Gracie
>>77055546

I feel like Kenny must've felt in the earlier seasons its insane

Marcelo

I like both anime but I really hope they go with FMAB first

wumbo

when is it time for one piece

The Brooklynite

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a great choice. Phenomenal series. Really good dub voice acting.

fr0st
>>77052405

Oh yeah, thanks. I should have clarified, I meant more beyond those, especially for the meatier stuff we get into in S4 ep4-9

Pesa

Goosebumps Everytiiiime!!!

MagnusVD

Nice, I like that Kenny was surprised at around the same amount as Montan but just different stuff, will be really interesting to see the reactions when the episodes are new to both :) Looking forward to more episodes: Attack On Titan is definitely a show with high rewatchability

Chris Gutierrez

I’m loving these AoT reactions! Can’t wait till Montana is caught up and you guys progress through season 4 together 😁

Soul Reaper

As much as i love kenny having to sit and not say anything most the show i like both them being blind

Ci-Ci
>>77067042

I know I loved them 🥺 the letter still kills me

Ci-Ci
>>77075733

I also love Arcane! I think it would be a great layover between AOT and the next Anime series since its only one season ATM. And I think Kenny and Montana would loveeee it!

kaetlynzjk

god the letter to historia from ymir kills me every time.

CasaSava94

Uhh Im so ready for yall to catch up and start watching season 4

Mojira
>>77062895

THe worst is Erwin's final motivational speech. The way it's spoken in the Japanese version and US version is different.

narutorunner

Damn Montana is really quick 😳

Lars

I would love to see your reactions to FMAB, because it’s similar to this show in terms of complex plot and characters and tragedy, but also has some more levity than the world of AOT

Ryan Torres

A little early in asking this, but when you eventually get to season 4 episode 17 can you react to both the new opening and the new ending song? Genuinely curious I wanna hear your thoughts on both of them

Byrne M

I will forever be sad that Ymir and Historia never got to be married they would have made each other so happy that letter always makes me cry

pineapplegreg

"Save Mikasa and Armin" HOLY HECK. I just put this whole story of AoT together now. Wow!

D
>>77076570

I never thought I'd see a Monster recommendation here but yes. All the yes. More people need to watch that amazing story.

Bobby P

Montana is literally the galaxy brain meme in this episode

Isaac Aderman

Montana's brain is absolutely bulging in this video!

Mark Romero

Holy galaxy brain, Montana.

Peter Film
>>77053054

進撃の巨人 is the title which does translate to Attack on Titan tho no maybe silent, it's Shingeki no Kyojin tho :)

Peter Film

Question, if finishing AOT and SheRa around the same time do we have to pick between FMAB and Death Note, are ya gonna cut to 1 show a week or just gauging which to do 2 eps of? :)

Markub El Jaden

Definitely FMAB, it has so many genre in one show.

JPSkillet

What do you think about the Attack titans characteristics throughout history in relation to Eren’s, knowing his character fought for freedom even before he received the titan?

Pocket Leaves

Level 2 of the trolley problem is keeping the same structure but changing the presentation. strangely even though it is 5 v 1, just like the original, people give vastly different answers. - You are a doctor and need to save 5 patients who need organ transplants to live. However, they aren't high enough on a list and are guaranteed to not get them. However, you know of a man with no family or friends, and is a perfect organ match for the 5 people. Do you kill him and harvest his organs and save the five lives? It's exactly like the original trolley problem, but feels so much different.

Reece
>>77087840

I think that's pretty low on the list according to polls

Andrew G

Lol super late but watching this episode I was like “what kinda fourth dimension shit is this?” Then season 4 ep 1 has me looking back at the title of the first episode after kiddo was talking about doing something he most definitely has no idea people do, I am CONVINCED the whole thing is already pre-ordained too lol I REALLY need to catch myself up to where you guys are now because I don’t know… what exactly transpires for him to have had an Eren style ‘dream’ or whatever but I’m so tense over it xD

Zaid Syed

Montana is too smart dude.
