Honestly all of the "ug, you never post" comments kinda got to me haha. Glad you're enjoying the new episodes!!

Aj

U guys should definitely watch death note I think it'll be so fun to watch Montana analyse the psychology of the main character and just watch u both theorise about what's gonna happen it really is an amazing show

TrixieTurner

Well howdy doody if this aint an unexpected surprise.

Carter Gavigan

I think demon slayer would be an amazing choice for you guys, it’s very easy to understand but yet it’s a beautiful story with fun characters

Rhys Harp

Im watching the newest episode now and seeing the notification for another upload made me smile, Arigatō

Tyler DeCamp

One of the best AOT episodes of all time

Isaac Davis

Love the music in this episode

Matthew Noce

The total diameter of the walls is about the size of Texas

Luke Mel

I think Death Note would suit you best, even tho I enjoyed JJK or Demon Slayer as well. The psychological and intriguing aspect of Death Note is perfect for our Psychology student right here :) And I can imagine interesting discussions between you two about justice and justifying things that happen in DN

Bence Virag

Wow, a new upload AND you're gonna watch Arcane together? Perfect ending for the week.

Andrea Mejia

Demon slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, FMAB, and Deathnote

amine souissi

i think code geass would be a great choice

Derek Rios

Demon slayer is a must next!!

Keyblade

Oh damn, did not expect another episode today. AND YES ARCANE PLEASE!!! I am so excited for psychological analysis from Montana about some parts of the show.

T HUFF

Code Geass

Mike Donohue

My hero academia!! Nuff said

Chris Gutierrez

I’m loving all these AoT episodes and the Arcane news! Thank you!

Dylan Snodgrass

I think Arcane is great since it's only 9 episodes. It would be a great "buffer" before jumping into your next long form series. All of the anime on your list are great and I would say on-par with AoT regarding story telling. I definitely recommend FMA: Brotherhood or Deathnote as those are both fully finished. This could give you time for some of the others on your list to have more episodes. (Also, I would strongly suggest adding My Hero Academia to that list)

JennatheBreadQueen

Thanks for the updates kenny!! always proud to support you guys

Kage Uzumaki

Fmab, I honestly don't see the hype in jjk or demon slayer; this is just my opinion

JennatheBreadQueen
>>78783334

ALSO i’m so impressed that you guys have been waiting to watch more!!! self control is something i don’t possess lmao, but i think this way it’s better so you can savor it and really process the story and developments. so jazzed for more!! (but take your time seriously)

Madara_Uchiha_2022

Death Note and JJK and Demon Slayer and Code Geass is hyped asf for you guys. I don’t really see any hype in FMAB plus Code Geass and Death Note seems to be both Similar to each other and it’s very very interesting to watch and I love it.

KariNull

Dr stone, demon slayer, death note

themightyabe

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood is on par with Avatar with its storytelling. Highly recommend.

MagnusVD

I realised we actually are at episodes now where Kenny honestly don't know some stuff anymore :)

MagnusVD

I remember the first time I saw the episode, it felt very tense the entire episode

Thomas Oldfield

This episode is the start of the end and their is no other way to see it.

Chelly

God I’m so excited to see y’all react to Arcane together, it’s such a well done story and has absolutely brilliant character work which you’ll definitely love

RandomRandomly

i been waiting for this episode foe so long!!!!

RandomRandomly

demon slayer, my hero acadamia, JJK, Code Geass, Deathnote, FMAB are all great

Victoria G

An Arcane reaction would be amazing if y'all have time for it!

Dfd

I’m so excited for the next few episodes! Can you upload 6 7 and 8 at the same time? I’m pretty sure everyone wants at least 6-7 together, well wait a week

Mikkelonk

To me there is one big difference between the warriors attacking Paradis and Eren attacking Marley, and that is the fact that the people in Paradis literally has no idea the outside world even exist. They are not an active threat, and despite knowing this Reiner and Bertholt keep attacking them, even after getting to know them. When Eren attacks he is attacking an enemy that he knows for a fact will wipe him and his people out if he does nothing.

Andrew
>>78785938

like Dfd said, uploading the upcoming episodes together would be swell.

Tyler Dick

Please do Death Note!

Izrail Gevorgyan

Demon Slayer, FMAB. As for this episode.. it’s going to just get better and better from this point out….

William Timmins

I am so so so so so so so so so SOOOOO looking forward to you guys watching Arcane.

Andrew

reiner's dub VA work is insane.

Chris Gutierrez

I don't know if I'm ready for these next episodes, but I just have to watch lol

TrixieTurner

Oh man I never realized how adorable Pieck and Zofia are when they interact.

TheMediator052

I love that Kenny can now theorize and talk about what he thinks and his guesses

kaetlynzjk

arcane and jujutsu kaisen are both amazing shows. jjk is also animated by MAPPA and overall has a really cool animation style and good story line. and arcane addresses some serious topics, also it is only 9, 45-minute episodes.

Giorgio Zanni

Please upload 4x6 and 4x7 together, I won't be able to wait 😭

Denton Ollive

I would love to see you both watch Voltron! Chat what do you think?

Steph Mesa

I would really love if you guys watch FMAB

Alex

As entertaining as it is watching Kenny gloat and enjoy Montana's frustration so far as each episode ends on an insane cliffhanger because he know's when it's coming up...........it's gonna be doubly hilarious when he's put back in that position, watching episodes for the first time and having to experience that frustration again himself lol Keep up the hard work guys, it's appreciated and you both are awesome. Also if you could do FMAB or Demon Slayer next that would be great.

a. tree

Thank you for the uploads! So fun to watch along with you all

Sarah Brown

such a legendary episode

fr0st

Thank you for the food, folks! Great to see a whole bunch of episodes these last few days. I gotta admire your restraint, I would not be able to stop at that point and just not watch any more for a few days.

JSB

Really want to see you guys react to demon slayer, death note, and ghost stories!

Iliad

Yassss, oh this was such a good one. I cannot wait for you guys to see what is coming down the line. I would love to see both of you react to Arcane, but like, do not, do not wear make up and have 7 million tissues -- for the both of you. It's really cathartic to watch it, quite a masterpiece, and I love that you can easily predict if you wanted to with how much love that was clearly put into the show, but it makes you want to take it for the ride that it is. Even when you see it and have theorized it and know it's going to happen the way it's laid out is so beautiful. I also highly recommend Centaur World!

Kaya Khanyile

I would love to see you guys react to Demon Slayer, you'll love it.

HamboneKablooey

I can't wait to reach the point where you're both blind. Y'all are best when you both have no idea what's coming and you can just talk things out, honestly I can't wait to see how close your theories get for the rest of the season! Also everyone's saying it, but Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is an actual masterpiece with incredible characters, a nearly perfect story, and a driving mystery that is right up y'alls alley!

Stephen Richard

Demon slayer and Jujustu Kaisen! They are fairly similar in animation style and intensity and look amazing

Sidney Rico

If you want to watch a wholesome yet well written story with AMAZING characters you guys should react to fruits basket sometime in the future :D!!!

zbox5432

Wow, very few people actually nail what WIlly's intentions were this early on. Great job catching Reiner refuting what Eren said about him having no choice but to breach the wall.

fr0st
>>78802649

I cannot wait for Kenny to know the pain of the cliffhanger as well. Absolutely cracking up whenever Montana has to see the cliffhangers at the moment

Smileyboi2000

Castlevania would be a wonderful show for you to react to

JennatheBreadQueen

also my brother is BEGGING me to watch full metal alchemist brotherhood. he’s not usually this passionate about shows but he says it’s genius, so if we end up watching together i wouldn’t be mad!

Adam Brown
>>78778838

Yay! Criticism works. Lol. But really, it's much appreciated. Thanks.

Adam Brown

Code Geass, Death Note, and/or Monster would suit Montana perfectly.

Ari

I think Death Note is the best out of all of those options for you both to watch next

H B

"Thats the worst one!" ....so far. Thats the worst one so far. :D

Pyrus

I disagree with their situations being the same. 1. Marley is attacking Paridis primarily for its resources. As mentioned and proven multiple times the Titans are becoming outdated by modern weapons and they want to modernize their military using those resources. 2. Paridis is not the aggressor of this war, they are the ones being declared war on. 3. Paridis is not just being declared war on. The entire world has just declared its intent of *genociding* his entire people. 4. You do not inherit the sins of your ancestors. The people of Paridis are innocent. They have lived in isolation from the rest of the world for a century while Marlia and the rest of the world have continuously been sinning by oppressing Eldians.

Zackery

I’d recommend watching Violet evergarden. Demon slayer is like 2 season behind the manga. I’d recommend watching something that is finished

fr0st
>>78846323

It's more a cycle of violence and hatred. King Fritz was incredibly selfish after using titans to conquer and kill, then demanding a few hundred years of peace, conveniently giving him time to die peacefully while leaving future Eldians to be attacked and just die if Marley or anyone else decides to attack them despite his fake warnings. He knows the Tyburs know that the threat of the rumbling has no teeth and that will for sure be discovered or revealed one day and then everyone in Paradis will be absolutely screwed.

Crusher

Holy shit Erens scream is so cringe in Dub on god

Eric Gjertsen

Arcane would be awesome! Full Metal is also an all time favorite. I'm still gonna keep suggesting Steins;Gate, tho

Bogdan Turda

1.57 Watched and rewatched the show, but is the first time I notice the tears in Willy eyes before he made his declaration of war.

Gonza Antonio

Oh man this would have been a great opportunity to use the original Eren titans scream...it so epic in japanese

LukeyBoi

The area within the walls is roughly the same areas as the entirety of France and some of Belgium

Emma C

I'm throwing "Yuuri on ice" out there

AJ N

Eren: From my point of view, the Jedi are evil!

LeFlaneur
>>78786445

WE know they are not an active threat. All theses characters have false or partial knowledge at best, even as the story progresses and more is revealed. There's also something the audience brushes over real quick because Eren & co. are on "our side"; Paradis, as say, a rogue nation with enough nuclear weapon stockpiled to destroy the planet twice over, remains an existential threat to all life forms on the planet. It's not something countries are normally just fine with.

LeFlaneur
>>78846323

You're talking global geopolitics and world history of the series, assuming characters have the omniscient knowledge of the writers or audience; they do not. Fundamentally their situation are the same. "There's an existential threat to my people and I need to act" it's as basic as that. Also, let's not forget that Paradis people were continuing to oppress Asian people on the island, a functional genocide if Paradis was really the last remnant of humanity. Memory, no memory, some people in the wall were still "sinning", and some people in the world community are just minding their business too. Purity Olympics makes no sense and overlooks all the layers of the story. Rogue nation with one and a half millennia history of violence and the fire power to destroy all life on earth... how weird no one was chill about it...

LeFlaneur
>>78846323

The average person on Paradis, good or bad, likely can't be blamed for the current situation, but King Fritz, the Eldian elite, and their successors are definitely thrash for engineering that noxious global political environment and not working on real path to diplomacy and restorative justice.

fr0st

So, out of curiosity, did y'all end up watching more episodes of either or both on Tuesday or is that delayed for a bit?

John Victor Oak
>>78778838

I've been an on and off patreon and to be honest with you the reason for the "off" periods has always been the long period between posts on Patreon.

John Victor Oak

One thing I don't understand, you keep saying "The way marley says things happened" "The way Willy is painting the story" I mean, he's just saying the truth. Eldia had titans, Eldia opressed the world. The only way Eldia was stopped was because the Eldian King himself wanted to stop. The Eldian King himself believed that what Eldia had done was so bad that if the world wanted to destroy them the world had the right to do it and he would just accept it. It's not a manipulation thing, Tybur is basically just saying the truth.

fr0st
>>79047502

Do you know what the truth is, though, when you have two stories about the same events, one from the episode where Grisha is giving Zeke a history lesson, and one in Willy's speech? Maybe the real point is that history always has two sides two it at least and the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Reece

Definitely do Arcane please!

LeFlaneur
>>79047502

That's bothsidesism and I won't get into spoilers, but you can take what Grisha said as Eldian propaganda just like any propaganda in the series. Though the resolution Tybur and the world leaders arrive to is abhorrent, Tybur is saying the truth.

DTLA
>>79047502

I wouldn't take anything for the truth that has been told. The only thing I would consider as most likely true is that it was King Fritz who ended the war and went to the island and made the "vow renouncing war". The reason given, that "the King anguished over Eldias brutal history" can be propaganda just as the restorationists thinking Ymir cultivated all the lands and bettered humanity might be propaganda. We simply don't know anything, but Tybur burying the legend of Helos by telling everyone that it was King Fritz who ended the war is most likely true.

AbatedFawn

Man I cannot wait until you guys see season 4 part 2.

Kela

Plz tell me the next episodes are coming soon?

Nigel Douglas

i would say the cliff hanger where the collasal titan was falling of the wall to land on top of eren and reiner was the worst one XD

ZekeySimpai

Late question but for Kenny specifically: You mentioned that you watched the sub before and the dub now. How do you feel about the dub version of the exact moment War is Declared? I love love how they did it, but haven't been able to get many other folks opinions. Lol, I had to join the patreon to see this one in particular early XD
