wumbo

so i half pooped myself when you said “ill look it up”. I was terrified you were just gonna get a ton of spoilers

Sean Carroll

The titan that ate kayas Mum before Sasha saved her was connies dad. This has been confirmed

Sean Carroll

You guys missed the after credits scene. Never ever click off the video until it specifically says to be continued

Sean Carroll

HERE COMES KING FLOCH THE TRUE HERO OF ELDIA 👑 👑 👑

AbatedFawn

End credits missed :(

Henson

You missed something in season 2. That titan who ate kaya's mom is actually connie's dad.

Carter Gavigan

can you guys react to the end credits scene in the beginning of the next ep

Jonny R

Y'all missed the end credits scene in this episode. Word of advice, don't end the reaction until you see the to be continued slide lol. I've made this mistake multiple times

Lucas Barros

One thing that you guys aren't connecting is that Falco witnessed the conversation between Eren and Reiner (back at the declaration of war). He already was a little mistrustful of Marley's propaganda, specially about the honor of being a warrior. I'm pretty sure hearing Eren and Reiner talk also helped change his views. He heard them talk about their experience with the whole enemies/devils thing and how they are just the same and have been both affected by the demonization of the other side. Hearing the conversation and, even more, seeing Reiner's reaction would be more than enough to shatter the indoctrination for someone like Falco.

Pedro Millan Duke

just a heads up, the episode only ends when the to be continued show up!

Krista Han

I love this episode. The next ones, oh they are GOOD.

I definitely realized this when editing declaration of war for YouTube, totally makes sense now

Jorge Carlos

There should be an end credit scene in this one

Ashley Garcia

I’m convinced that the horse that bites Gabi is the same horse from season 1 that was always biting that guys head (Dieter)lmao

Wildwolfrider
>>80657232

If there's not a to be continued at the end then there's an end credit for future episodes.

MaybeNextTime

End credits? Never stop watching the episode until you see the "To be continued..." lol

SupremeCai

This episode is heartwrenching for Sasha lovers ;-;

Marcb92

The best way to describe Floch: he is often the voice of objective reasoning, but his antagonistic personality and attitude makes you want to disregard the reasoning.

zaneomega

Eren went rogue and started a war against multiple countries, killing thousands. Not something you can tell the common populace and definitely not something you want leaked. They've said multiple times that they have neither the numbers or technology for a full scale war, Eren forced them into an unwinnable situation where the Rumbling (which they haven't tested) and Zeke is their only option. I feel Floch(?) is similar to Gabi in that he's dead set on revenge at any cost and willing to disregard any and everyone that disagrees. I agree'd with everything he said during season 3, but here, he's just a dick.

TrixieTurner

Man It's weird but as the show goes on I actually like Mikasa less and less.

Chelly
>>80661379

it’s the opposite for me lol, because she actually becomes more than just Eren’s overprotective bodyguard and instead starts to realize her own values

TrixieTurner
>>80661379

Yeah I realize I'm in the minority, at the start I only liked her cause of her design and cause of her cool combat stuff. funnily enough as she actually becomes a character and gets more of a personality is when I start to like her less but still not actively dislike her.,

LeviUnleashed
>>80661055

Eren didnt start a war though, he waited for Marley to declare war before attacking Liberio. Even if Eren had done things differently I highly doubt the rest of the world would of left Paradis alone. Its obvious how deep Marleys propaganda and brain washing is, do you honestly think trying to be civil would change anything?

ola fasola

I just wanted to warn you that sometimes in dub the translation can be a bit off also gabi va in dub is not really good in imitating the emotions of the original voice actor that's why i also think it makes her less likeable by a lot of people. And in this season there are some scenes that you should watch with sub on your own after you watch it with dub bc they seem like completely different scenes with different sound and emotion to them. Anyway great reaction as always!! xxx

LeFlaneur
>>80661055

Tybur baited Eren, and Eren made his choice. Also Eren said it himself; the legacy of the Eldian Empire is real, seared into the world collective memory, and they're a nation of folks who can turn in giant man eating monster . Realistically there's a diplomatic path, but it's a far more time and resource extensive and unreliable plan than just holding the world hostage with the threat of global genocide. It would definitely require turning some of the Tybur and Marleyan elite, but... that's a bit complicated now.

Polygon
>>80661379

Ikr? I remember when S1 was airing and everyone was simping for Mikasa even though her only character trait was to be yandere for Eren because she was the only real female character in the show. But as soon as S2 and 3 dropped and Ymir and Historia got their time to shine Mikasa got dropped from the best girl position almost immediately because those two had more than 2 character traits. That's not to say Mikasa is a "bad" character, I just don't think she's very compelling, and she certainly doesn't stack up when compare to more complex characters like Reiner, Zeke, Eren, Gabi, Erwin, etc.

ola fasola
>>80658043

Also it was mentioned that Falco's family was a part of restorationists so that means he never was the brainwashed bc his family was not really into that crap. And then we have Gabi's family who are proud of her and praise her for her warrior achievements. When she asks her aunt ( Rainer's mom) ,, Is the island devils really are bad" she asks this after Rainer whole speech about how ''bad'' they are and she asked this for confirmation that they are indeed bad bc from his speech it did not sound like they were evil at least not really as much as she thought the were. And so she in her head probably for a moment is doubtful about what she believed the whole time and so she asks her aunt for confirmation. Sorry for any mistakes, english is not my first language.

TrixieTurner
>>80661379

Yeah as the show went on Historia and Hange quickly became my favorite female characters in aot.

Jawrool

Just so you know, the episodes are not over until you see the "To Be Continued Screen." Usually an episode where the credits start rolling while the show is happening will have a post Credits scene. Use this info to notice next time, better than looking up which episodes have post credit scenes and potentially run into a spoiler.

Chelly
>>80661379

I feel like Historia kind of got sidelined after season 3 part 1, so I can’t really say I like her better than Mikasa, but Hange is definitely one of my favorite characters in the show (if not my absolute favorite). She’s intelligent and passionate but also a great leader (in different ways than Erwin obvs) and knows when it’s time to be serious. All that coupled with the fact that she’s shouldered all this responsibility she didn’t want without complaining once makes her really likable for me

Evie

lol as a fellow horsegirl I love it whenever Montana analyzes the horses or answers questions about them. I would've had the same answer as Montana to the last question.

Ryan

You guys missed an after credit scene! 😳😳

Colton Piper

My question was definitely a joke question lol. But learning about how a horse can sense your heartbeat was really cool. I have heard about the "feeds off your energy" thing, but that sounded like some astrology bro science without the actual facts lol.

Zak Moran

OOH! Fun Fact about the Southern Marleyan Accent thing. It's not that the same accent would have developed, but more secluded rural areas (like the forest the Braus family lived) tend to maintain dialects for longer, so it would have been left over from when their ancestors lived on the mainland. It's why the Appalachian dialect has been the same for like 150+ years, but the general southern accent isn't the same as it was less than 100 years ago. And my theory for the Colossal titan thing is that Bertolt made an extra explosive transformation in Shiganshina, plus he lit fire to the debris of the houses he was tossing, and that's why he was getting skinny despite only walking like... a mile

Zak Moran
>>80658043

Yeah, I think it's easy to forget the impacts of nurture, nature, AND environment. Falco and Gabi might have shared the same environment growing up, but the "nurture" they got from their home life, and the "nature" of their DNA puts them in a very different place, mentally.

Tyler W

Floch the GOAT really begins to carry the season this episode and onward

William Timmins

This whole Gabi/Sasha storyline just about broke me. sniff

Jmp010299

The horse biting Gabi was not the devil's doing, it was the lords doing and we all know it. Also I feel like y'all would also like Jujutsu Keisen as well and there is a new movie with that one that looks great. If nothing else though or if that's not an option I would vote for Demon Slayer next. Its great and it's a newer anime so once y'all are caught up you would have time for other shows since it would just be one episode a week.

Abid Ahmed

The main reason Gabi is so deep in the propaganda is due to the Braun family being extremist Pro-Marley. They all despise the eldian empire and are completely invested in redeeming themselves for the validation of Marleyans and the rest of the world. Growing up around that environment alongside the propaganda would’ve been deeply engrained into gabi’s roots. Falco on the other hand has a family of pro restorationists. His uncle, Grice, was actually one of the main leaders of the restorationists and the one who recruited Grisha into the group way back when.

fr0st

The horse was like Paradis Devil rights! *chomp*

Angel Hernandez

Floch is so overhated imo. Everything he does is understandable. Sure he takes things too far a couple of times, but it’s still understandable.

Kevin Widjaja

You guys missed the post-credit scene

Bigbeejr55
>>80660871

Floch acting like jean wasn't a veteran just because they were in the same graduating class made me disregard him from day 1. Nothing objectively reasonable about someone who thinks that way imo.

Adham A

Dang, Y’all missed a nice post credit scene :( you should just mute the audio and let it play so it doesn’t happen often

Sean Carroll
>>80660871

Big beer, that was floch taking the piss, after he saw jeans face he realised that he was mistaken. There was nothing wrong with floch in his introduction

Stephen Richard

So bertoldt used his power to fend off Jean mikasa armin and Connie, then he slowed down. The rumbling in theory doesn’t slow down

CorgiSnapz

Joining the chorus of the "You missed the end credit scene!" crowd... Just a little helpful hint... Whenever the credits show up during the ending of the episode and it doesn't hit the black TO BE CONTINUED, there will be an end credit scene.

Curtis Mitchell

The character development of Gabi is done so well. Hopefully by the end she finds her way out of the forest.

Johnny

Louise and Kaya are of the same coin but are on opposite sides.

Ari

You missed an after credit scene that is important

Andrew G

I want to fight Floch so bad lol. He makes me want to just push him to the floor lol. … ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)Like the self-proclaimed bitch he is… Lol seriously though… I might hate Floch, but the fact that at the end of season 3 he was openly challenging the military’s current decision making skills WHERE he did… and now he’s doing shit like THIS behind the scenes, WITH FRIENDS, is starting to make me believe that Floch is probably one of the most dangerous characters in this series lol

fr0st

So what's the schedule looking like next, Kenny?

ThatAnus

Non spoiler clarification. The wall titans are pure titans and follow the same rules as regular pure titans. In season 2 we see Pastor Nick run to Hange exclaiming the they need to not let sunlight touch the titan in the wall. This lack of sunlight tricks them into thinking it's night, making them docile. Also, the reason Bertholt became withered in the season 3 finale was because he was purposely emitting excessive amounts of heat to defend himself. The wall titans are just the regular man eating titans but big lol.

kalvin diaz

Don’t ever google something in the middle of an episode. Let the episode explain it to you. The reveal of who the girl is if you had not already figured it out naturally without googling would have been great. Never google in the middle of a reaction. That sucked all the energy out of it.

kalvin diaz

I know you sort of figured out who it was, but NEVER get confirmation from google in middle of an episode. Get the confirmation from the episode as it clearly did at the end. Sorry for double post but can’t emphasize enough.

PurpleTux

Montana: "Deciever?, I hardly know her" Kenny thinking: "Yep, she's definitely the one"

Andrew G
>>80657421

Oh wow, I thought it was HER dad eating her the way they focused in on her eyes and then on his like how they did with Connie and his mother’s eyes at the end of that episode. I thought Connie’s dad was the abnormal bug-eyed one that didn’t listen to Zeke the first time lol How the heck did he get all the way up north before Sasha did? Am I dumb? Lol I was/am pretty confident those two titans that stumbled out of the woods during the Utgard castle attack that were wrestling around on the ground tearing pieces of each other off were his siblings, so i assumed his dad was kickin it there too lol Okay so yeah, wow. This entire time I’ve been wondering who in the hell turned her dad into a Titan my dumb ass over here not realizing she would have PROBABLY mentioned her dad turning into a Titan and eating her mom at literally any moment since it happened lol Jesus 🤣

Andrew G
>>80660871

Yeah that exchange with Jean subconsciously primed him juuuust a little bit to me. It was fine at the time. I thought, ‘I get it. He was just trying to act tough like the others are, but was just a BIT naïve to make that comment.’ Turns out, he wasn’t actually trying to act tough. That’s just how Floch grow. Him backing off there I think was the last time he backed off a n y t h i n g. Him surviving the Battle for Shiganshina and whatever else has happened between then and now threatens his sanity DAILY like a starving pit bull, straining against its ever-weakening leash lol

Hinata❤️❤️❤️

The biggest thing I got from Gabi this episode and how much it is just indoctrination was the fact that she just repeated the same thing over and over. She didn’t even change the wording. Repeating what she had been told her whole life. Makes me sad. She just a kid. Also I think Falco, being that he is related to Grice, one of the rebels from Grishas time, makes you think that maybe at home the echoing of how terrible Eldons are, wasn’t as bad as with Gabi and Reiners families. Idk.

Zuhaib Izhar

You guys missed the post credit scene

Chelly
>>80661379

Definitely not, she just struggles with going against her morals like literally anyone would
