Chelly

The Owl House for sure

Milo

Clone wars is great!

Stevon Duey

Young Justice is so so good

Carco11

Owl house is so good

VeriTiger

please do owl house it’s amazing!

Tardos

Owl House for sure.

Krystal

Owl house

Marcelo

Do they have to be animated but not considered anime?

Marcb92

Young Justice 100%. The story is amazing! Next level writing!

kai

i would love to see the owl house!

SkinnyAsAStick

I like clone wars. Gets better and better in the later seasons

Kade_Kapes

She-Ra used to be my favorite animated show of all time… and then I watched The Owl House, and it’s not even finished yet.

William Timmins

The Owl House. I STRONGLY recommend against Clone Wars. It's way too long and there are way too many episodes that are best skipped.

Anna

Owl house

Migli

Definitely the owl house 100 %

Anna

Owl house!!!

Zo Hunter

Definitely Owl House

Erik

Is this non-anime only? I'd love to see you guys watch Your Lie in April for a different anime genre. Non-anime would be Dragon Prince

Swanzy

You guys would love Owl house. would be a nice transition after Arcane

Benji Gonzalez

I’d say owl house! I wasn’t really feeling it until the last few eps of the first season but it REALLY picks up after that!

pineapplegreg

Dragon Prince! It was created by the head writer of ATLA Aaron Ehasz! Sokka’s voice actor is the main character in this series! I think you guys would love Rayla! And the there’s a very Zuko/Azula dynamic with Soren and Claudia!

Rakurai

You briefly mentioned The Dragon Prince, which I would be really up for. It’s a great blend of shera and avatar with a great magic system and fun characters

Chloe

Owl house 🦉🏠

Suplee215

I doubt it'll get enough traction but Legends of Vox Machina on Amazon prime is amazing. It's basically an adaption of the first critical role DND campaign and its great, dark and funny but also pretty deep characters even the ones who are usually tropey get depth in this. Not for kids for sure but so good

Calbe Wetzel

Any of these would be fantastic but the owl house and young justice are unfinished as of yet so I’m leaning towards clone wars for that reason alone Also for other western animations consider Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, The Dragon Prince, invincible, Over the Garden Wall, and Gravity Falls

Ella Kennedy-Lange

this would 100% not win a vote but if you haven’t seen dirk gentlys holistic detective agency you should watch it. it’s on hulu and i feel like y’all would have a good time theorizing with it. but of these 3, Owl house for sure

Kit Pearson

I feel like Young Justice would be amazing for y'all. It handles some pretty serious subject matter in the later seasons and has taken leaps and strides ahead of other projects in terms of representation.

Brianne

My Hero Academia!!!

Ethan Honza

All of these are amazing options. My personal fav among them is Clone Wars, however, I highly recommend you watch it in the Chronological order rather than the release order. The experience is much better that way.

Dangitronepas

Look the owl house is a great choice, but imo if you haven’t seen it gravity falls is much better. Still the owl house is amazing and is the best option out of the 3 and I’ve seen all 3

Amadeus

The owl house

Dangitronepas

Yeah it would be rough for them to sit through the first season, if they do choose it an episode guide might be quite good.

Matt Lievens

Young Justice is my #1 pick. It is such an amazing series and would give you guys a lot to speculate over.

Usear

Definitely Owl House! The show is amazing and I think it's also the best sucessor of She-Ra

Shayna

gravity falls

BlueEyedRaven

I know there is some trepidation for Dragon Prince. The animation in the first season is a bit rough, but it has an incredible story and character development. But if it's only those three, I would vote for Clone Wars. Owl House seems too child-centric for my tastes.

NasOKM

Young justice

Reese Does things

Try Invincible its very good. And only 8 episodes so far.

Robin B

THE OWL HOUSE🦉🏡🙏🏻, It's definitely worth your time!!

Cydil Itovu

Owl house for sure. We got the start of rep with Kora, she-ra built on that and owl house took it even farther. Feels like the next step in the journey

Adam Brown

Owl House, or Amphibia.

Matt Lievens

Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts is another one I'd add to the list.

Ashrita Chavali

Definitely Owl House! You guys will love the deep lore and the character designs!

Bazil

Second Owl House

Shayna

oh also infinity train!

Élina Kressmann

i'd say The Owl House of the 3, it's truly great with interesting characters, matue themes, and such a great world

Foxslash

Definitely owl house AHHHHHH! You guys would love the lore that builds up and the in depth character arcs !

SkinnyAsAStick

Yeah the first season i can't see them watching and liking all that much but the character development, bonds between characters, and great story arcs in the later seasons is what I wanna see then react to

Dennis

Owl House would be nice. I also see Kipo and Dragon Prince mentioned in other comments - both are great.

Mark O'Leary

Have you seen Gravity Falls? It's just, there's a lot of callbacks to that show in Owl House.

luiz felipe

I strongly recommend The Shield Hero or maybe even Beastars. Two shows with great stories and beastars has truly stunning animation

AJ

Is this only for animated shows? If not, I'd like to throw Black Sails into the pot. It's one of those hidden gems that not many people have seen, but those who have seen it know just how amazing it is. It's only 4 relatively short seasons and takes a chunk of S1 to get into its rhythm but wow it really goes places and leaves an impact on you.

KT Bees

I'm gonna toss out The Legend of Vox Machina. It's another animated show aimed at adults and it's a good time. Besides, if nothing else, this comment might get someone here into the show!

hayden

the owl house!!!

Pumpkin

I'd love to see a special October/Halloween reaction to Over the Garden Wall. It's a mini series. 10 episode of about 10-15 minutes each. Unique, eerie, great for analysis. Owl house would also be a good choice as we approach fall. - 🎃

Brenda

I’m for owl house. Also, I don’t remember if this was already talked about or not but are you guys going to react to Death Note after you finish FMAB?

Madara_Uchiha_2022

You should only and I mean “ONLY” if you watch Episode 1 and 2 of the Star Wars movies

Tann

I would love Young justice.

Carott

I'm all for Owl House ! lots of love and wholesomeness

tayjah bruington

Young justice, teen titans, or Steven universe

Jayla

Owl house

Nimezer

Owl House

stefanwimmer128

Based on your enjoyment of both ATLA and ALOK, I would definitely recommend The Dragon Prince. It's quiete the gem with some overlap behind the scene (and kind of in front).

Robin Carme

Owl house is wonderful, and the clone wars is amazing, either of them!

Darby

I think owl house! I love clone wars but if you did it you would definitely want to skip a lot of episodes and use a watch guide or something

Squid

Of the ones you listed, definitely owl house, but I'd also look into The Dragon Prince too

LabPartners

Young Justice (it gets so good in season 3, lots to analyse from a psychological point of view)

Neydi

🦉 The Owl House 🏠 🦉

Blubber Nuggets

Wait, are we looking specifically at cartoons, or are we thinking of doing 2 anime at once. The rules weren't clear for me

Whaf03

The Owl House is so good.

Sero

The Owl House! HOOT. 🦉 Also if you need another mini-series, Infinity Train! Each of 4 seasons is 10 episodes of 10 min (give or take). Dunno how you'd want to do each episode - they are short albeit IMHO the episodes 'feel' longer - or multiple episodes each, with your format, though. D:

Alizee Wagner

Owl house or dragon prince. Owl house will probably only continue in 2023 though which sucks, dragon prince will get a new season at the end of this year though so long term dragon prince might be better but I love owl house so I reccomend both

Belle M

The Owl House definitely gets my vote!!

Harriet W

Infinity Train! So much fun and quite thought-provoking. It's truly an amazing animated series, lots for Montana to psychoanalyze lol, and while not it doesn't /technically/ have an explicit queer romance storyline, it gives off mega queer vibes.

TB

Young Justice and Clone Wars has my vote

Wahya

Kipo and the age of the Wonderbeasts.

Greggy G

Out of the 3 shows listed my vote is for The Owl House. Shows I'd recommend that arent listed would be Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeast and The Dragon Prince. The voice actress with the main lead for Kipo is Karen Fukuhara, the same person who voices Glimmer in Shera.

Geneva

Owl house definitely. But something you should consider after is Netflix's Carmen San Diego

Emma C

If you ever feel like it I would recommend Voltron: Legendary Defender. It was made by the same people who made She-Ra

Tsudo Nymn

I'd recommend Steven Universe.

Néo

Owl house and Infinity train, they're both incredible. Though Infinity train is more mature than The Owl house

christian

Kipo and the Age of the Wonderbeasts is amazing!

Joseph

Ben 10 (2005), Young justice, adventure time, Danny phantom

Jenny D

THE OWL HOUSE! I think it’s the perfect follow up to She-ra in terms of all ages cartoons! It’s got some really incredible animation scenes that I know Kenny will love, and there’s so much psychology for Montana to dive into, especially in Season 2! And the background details! There’s so many hidden clues and jokes in the backgrounds! But one of my favorite things (at least that I can mention without spoilers) about the show is the humor! Like, I love love love the humor in She-ra, and I think The Owl House is even funnier! I just know the show would be right up your guys’ alley! Whenever I rewatch the show I’ll see these moments and think about how much fun you’d have reacting to them!

Peter Film

Death Note before it's completely ruined for Kenny!

Laoise Talley

Ooh! The owl house or the dragon prince. I'm leaning more towards the dragon prince tho

Christian Leigh

owl house seems like it would be perfect for you guys, the magic system in the show is something that Montana would enjoy learning the mechanics of

fr0st

The Owl House for sure!

Alexander Brogan

Not so much one with any magical systems but Moriarty - The Patriot Sherlock Holmes Style but focuses on Sherlock's biggest Rival/enemy 😊❤️ love you both xx

Emma Jarvis

the owl house is a clear winner for me

Blhu

The Owl House!! For being a “kids show” it has great themes, characters, and representation. I think you guys would really love it!

Madison

Clone wars

Karston James

My hero academia!!!!@!@@@@!!!!!!!!!

Carabas

The Owl House. Clones Wars, when it's good, it's really good, but it's got an aweful lot of filler or downright hideous episodes.

emelsi

Owl House has a ton of support for good reason, as it tackles emotions and trauma and family dynamics and being young in really good ways, similar to She-ra. BUT it's not done yet so you guys would probably run out of episodes before the final season airs. That said, it would be my first choice. 2nd would be Clone Wars or Teen Titans.

hayden

infinity train

hayden

the dragon prince

hayden

steven universe

hayden

bojack horseman

hayden

gravity falls

hayden

over the garden wall

Elvira Lehtonen

Infinity train also. The episodes are shorter sooo

Leighton Williams

I know you're already doing 2 animes and might not want another, but I really think you'd like Fruits Basket. It has a great dub and it's more low-key and mental health based than the other two you're watching, more like She-Ra. But also 100% watch Owl House first, lol

JennatheBreadQueen

CLONE WAAAAAAARS!!!!!!! but i’ve also heard wonderful things about the other two, especially owl house.

Poet

Owl house u will love it

JennatheBreadQueen

also if you guys wanted a fun something in between series it would be SO FUNNY if you showed montana a few episodes of spongebob!! you’d mentioned it before idk if it was a joke or not but i think you both would have so much fun 🥰

Dan Schwehr

Young justice is such a darker show than it seems at first

Artsy Dartsy

infinity train is definitely worth considering!

Grandalf

I'm watching an anime right now, a forgotten gem called "Romeo and The Black Brothers" or "Romeo's Blue Sky" depending on the translation. It's from the 90s and has such good characters and storytelling that I'm actually shocked. I'm on episode 15 and it's already a masterpiece! It was apparently also based on a novel called "Die schwarzen Brüder" by a Swiss author. If you haven't seen it already, I would really recommend checking it out!

Greenwood

Owl house for sure!

Isaiah Frisbie

absolutely Young Justice! It's surprisingly nuanced and really captivating

Craig Payne

If you were open to another anime, I think Spy x Family would be something you would both enjoy, and the dub is pretty good.

Haorii

I am a Star Wars Fan Girl and Ahsoka fan so I vote for Clone Wars but I am open to it :)

leiaaa

owl house you would enjoy it!

Andres Lozano

Young justice for me Clone Wars is probably the hardest to get into given the scope. Owl House would be nice as well I haven’t seen that yet.

Casey Turner

Star Wars the clone wars! Close second with young justice

Retied

I would love to see The Owl House with you guys.

Ondřej Vágner

Second that suggestion. Spy x Family is a very different anime from the shows you've been watching so far, but it's the kind of show that I believe you would really really enjoy.

Jenny D

Idk, they still have all 9 episodes of Arcane and then 40 episodes of TOH if they choose that. So that’s 49 weeks, and idk if they’re going to do like what they did after Korra and watch the pilots for a few shows before picking one. Plus TOH has already been on hiatus for 6 weeks.

Jenny D

I agree! This comment feels a bit spoilery though. Idk, maybe I’m being too cautious.

Jenny D

I think so. They’re already going to be doing two anime for Patreon, and this thread is for what they pick after Arcane, which is their western animation series.

Jon Wake

The Spy x Family dub is good, and the My Dress up Darling dub is really good.

Jon Wake

There's also Vox Machina or Harley Quinn.

Nyssa

the owl house

Jenny D

Same! After Season 2a of TOH it was tied with She-ra for my favorite, but then Season 2b came along and somehow blew the first half of the season out of the water! I will say I think ATLA is still technically the best western animated show I’ve seen just because I think it’s world-building is a bit tighter than the others, but in terms of character development they’re all equal to me. What puts The Owl House at the top for me is that it has some of the best relationship dynamics, plus I love a good mystery and these writers are so good at dropping clues in the background! I think it’s also the funniest of those three shows, followed by She-ra and then ATLA. But that’s just my personal taste in humor.

r3liant

The dragon prince 😆

Jenny D

1x15 is the episode where Dana Terrace said she felt like she finally got to start making the show she wanted, as opposed to Disney’s meddling earlier in the season. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that most of the fans’ least favorite episodes all come before 1x15.

Stephen Richard

The Dragon Prince!!! It screams atla and Korra vibes

Valentina M

Yes, also the explanation of the magic system works better than She-ra in my opinion...

Adrian Lee

Clone wars (chronological order)

Jenny D

They’re already doing two anime for Patreon, FMAB and Demon Slayer. This is for the show that will replace Arcane, which is the Western animated series they’re about to start.

SomewhatAnonymous

Owl house for me. It’s not too long compared to the other two and the animation is solid.

pineapplegreg

Also are you guys still planning to the MCU?

Mathies

the clone wars is a big time investment, but some of the best Star Wars content out there. some of the later season are really insane

bobin

Owl House would fit well with their style I think. Character progression to discuss, plot mysteries to theorize about, and LGBT representation to appreciate. Shortest of the three as well, by a pretty wide margin.

Nazrel

Owl house

lily whetsell

The owl house!!! If youre taking suggestions for anything else though, infinity train is SO GOOD

J

THE OWL HOUSE NO QUESTION END OF STORY

Zion

Young justice

awildjord

considering i've never watched young justice or clone wars im going with the owl house bc i love it

Nathan Beach

I was going to say Vox Machina if you’re looking for a shorter show, it’s 12 episodes

Miro9900

Clone wars, RWBY, or if you haven't seen it Death Note

Drake

Out if the options I'd say Owl House cause I am nost curious about it over either the other options. If I could recommend another show? Hmmm, definitely recommend Death Note for anime. Westwrn cartoons I'd recommend, DC Superhero Girls, Green Eggs and Ham, or My Little Pony if ya'll somehow haven't seen it (MLP really picks up starting at S2 though).

JHB

Owl House

GM Richter

Clone Wars or RWBY could be good

Jacob Morgan

Kaguya-sama: Love is War. It’s a lighter series (you may want that after a bunch of heavy shows like AoT, FMA, and Demon Slayer), romantic comedy, and one of the best currently airing anime.

Byrne M

Owl house for sure

fr0st

Has anyone recommended Harley Quinn? I feel like that's a solid adult animated show plus the best DC stuff is animated, really

Merfhew

Gravity Falls

Justin Spencer

Wow the clone wars I gotta say as someone that grew up with episode 1-3 not really understanding the universe very well and then getting such deep context for the show it’s for sure an amazing watch and it’s my pick but I’ll give my opinion on young justice too the show starts great has amazing execution but I feel the weight of this shows cancellations and revival in the way the story is told too many time jumps and certain characters arch just don’t feel as completed as some of the other shows you’ve watched. I haven’t watched owl but I have heard great things. I’ll be ok with whatever you pick but if I had to order them just off personal opinion

Justin Spencer

1. Clone wars 2. Young justice (if only for the first 2 seasons) 3. Owl house

J. Antonio Ligorria

100% Down for Young Justice I do not know Owl House, so I'll be glad to watch along the first episode with you, as I did with Shera Another YouTube channel I follow is doing a Clone Wars reaction in a different format as how I originally watched it (I did the entire series as released; they are watching the arcs as chronologically accurate), and considering how slow the first seasons are, I think you guys might benefit from that same channel's method.

J. Antonio Ligorria

Considering the smash hit of the events in the 3rd season, I also think they will have a good time with it

J. Antonio Ligorria

I SO LOVE THIS suggestion! It makes me want to rewatch the series from the beginning; hopefully we get season 4 soon

J. Antonio Ligorria

OMG! I can't believe I forgot about this newer show. I love this suggestion, hope they consider it, at least

J. Antonio Ligorria

Considering they just caught up with Attack on Titan, I think they'll be fine with Vox Machina. Hope they consider it, I had lots of fun watching it

Intergalactic Pants

Vox Machina is such a good series. Here's hoping your suggestion gets a decent amount of likes to get consideration in the near future.

Gamut

Steins;Gate!

Sergio Ozoria Ramirez

My Hero Academia, as it is currently one of the top series in the anime community The animation and character designers are great, not to mention the hands-on combat and beautifully written story. I’m caught up with the manga, trust and believe that the series will blow up the internet next season coming out this October

Suplee215

J. Antonio Ligorria on violence yea. I hasn't seen AoT so idk how deep the sec scenes go. That seems a bit outside of what they already watched although arcane gets close

Abby

Owl House!!!

Jenny D

As a fellow user with DT-as-Adora for their profile pic, I just wanted to comment and say I love your profile pic! Also your username! *chef’s kiss*

HamHamJ

So I thought of this while watching the reaction to the She-Ra finale because there is a very direct reference/homage to it in the climax: Revolutionary Girl Utena. It's a good bit older than anything on the channel so far, but not only is it just a really good show, it has historical importance as shown by how it continues to inspire new creators.

Dristin

Never seen owl house so that would be an experience but Young Justice

Jaé-De Milton

owl house or young justice, I enjoy clone wars but a lot of it feels like filler

Scott Svensson

The Harley Quinn animated series on HBOmax

Lucy Diamond

The Owl House or The Harley Quinn series! I love both of those, and they both fun with good through stories. I not a Star Wars fan at all.

Lucy Diamond

I totally agree! I love that show, and it really is all about the fun villains.

Răzvan Măriuță

Highly recommand The Clone Wars. The Owl House is also great.

sesamese

recommend Owl House as well as Kipo and The Age of Wonderbeasts

Vex Valor

I highly recommend Kipo and the Age of the Wonderbeasts. The main character has the same voice actress as Glimmer and there is excellent LGBT and POC rep in it.

Sean Fox

Young justice or clone wars

Sean Fox

I found owl house to be very boring

Adrian Lee

DEFINITELY CLONE WARS. THEN STAR WARS REBELS, THEN THE BAD BATCH

Selim

clone wars in chronological order would be 100% awesome

JuanderfulJuans

Owl House is top tier; I do caution you though, it is owned by Disney lol - might wanna do a few copyright checks.

Norrin Radd

Y’all should watch Ozark.

Mick Harding

So many other YouTubers have posted reaction videos of The Owl House over the years. You’d be among the many who’ve poured their hearts out for this amazing show. If you loved Avatar, Korra, She-Ra, you’ll love this one all the same

Natacia Buckner

Out of these Owl House or Young Justice but I also highly recommend Kipo Age of Wonderbeast or Dragon Prince

Christopher Johnson

MTP is my favorite anime (or at least one of them). They would go crazy for it. I’d love to see them both swoon to the catch me if you can scene

Christopher Johnson

Young Justice is a fantastic show with an amazing cast. You’ll love it. The same is true for clone wars. My top choice would be Gravity Falls, because in my opinion it is the only western animation I’ve seen to compete with ATLA and perhaps even surpass it. It’s super fun to react to especially if you get into the code breaking in the show and deeper analysis.

Kade_Kapes

My top pick is the Owl House, but I’m gonna throw out a bit of a wildcard and say Spectacular Spider-Man. It’s a fan favorite show considered by most Web head fans to be the best iteration of the character. Unfortunately, it was canceled after only two seasons, so a lot of the stuff it was building up doesn’t get a payoff, but it still ends satisfyingly enough, it’s not like it ends on a cliffhanger or anything. It’s also consistently good with even the biggest dips in quality still being great storytelling. The bright side of it getting cancelled is that it’s only 26 episodes so you could knock it out pretty fast. There are also a lot of fans championing for a renewal for the show, and hey, it happened for Clone Wars and Young Justice years after those shows were cancelled, so who’s to say it couldn’t happen to Spec Spidey. One of the show’s show runners/writers is also a show runner/writer of Young Justice, and even wrote the one episode that you reacted to. He also did Gargoyles in the 90’s. Anyway, really good show that I see isn’t getting mentioned, but maybe if you tossed out the idea of potentially watching it more people would vote for it. The Owl House is still #1 though.

Byron

The Owl House above anything else!!!!!

Supplication of Perpetuity

The clone wars is a very very fun journey and I would really love to see the political analysis yall will do

That Guy

Owl house mayhaps

Jon

Did you ever get around to watching young justice?

ashlin

the owl house before anything else

Aiden Miller

I think the maturity of young justice and the modern themes it covers as well as the overall characters is definitely something you all would enjoy

Sharlaquine

I would love to recommend The Clone Wars (and it is really, really amazing!) but if you plan on doing every season that will be one heck of a time commitment.

Alexander Brogan

Invincible, but of this list, the clone wars, but would be great to do a first and second episode of star wars watch through before you start the clone wars, could make the movies like a big live event , like a community watch party, we press play and pause with you on our own Disney+ ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Iliad

centaur world!

Placbo2.0

Young Justice or Owl House!

Elvira Lehtonen

Can i just ask...did you even wstch the show after the first season? If you did then i am very confused and curious to what made you not like it

Ari

I would absolutely love you to watch the Owl House. I think you guys would love it

Ari

Also I don’t think the clone wars will really fit with your theme of analyzing characters and big moments as there’s a lot of all over the place when it comes to the clone wars. So my first choice is absolutely Owl House. Also the dragon prince is a fantastic show

Hiro

Definitely The Owl House!

Tamia

Please watch the Owl House! If you liked Avatar the last Airbender, Legend of Korra and Shera, you guys will absolutely love this show! <3

Julian

Owl House to fill the more light-hearted spot of She-Ra!

Camryn

Owl house!

Randy

Madoka Magica

Mel

Steven Universe PLEASE

overthinking tudo

Infinity Train or Madoka Magica, I also would love to see Montana's psychology takes on Bojack Horseman even tho its a little different from watch you guys usually watch

9Aki

After arcane I feel like you should watch a more light hearted show. I think Owl House would be a good choice because not only does it have light hearted moments it can be serious too and there is a lot to anylize. Another one that could be a good choice is the dragon prince.

Mortis

Please watch Fruits Basket 2019. I feel like Montana would love to discuss the massive amounts of psychology the show has to offer. It’s an incredibly good series and invokes in viewers every emotion. Also while this is obviously subjective on my anime list it’s final season is currently ranked in the top 10 of all anime

Harriet W

The Legend of Vox Machina! It's incredible and based off a D&D actual-play show, but you don't need to know anything about that (although it does make some of the gags funnier)

Harriet W

Or the Harley Quinn show, it's really funny and really well done (and fun sapphic slow-burn)
