Youtube title format: Which do we prefer (Patreon)

So im a creature of habit, and have difficulty changing really any details about how we do our description and titles on youtube. That being said, most reaction channels I see simply title it

[name of episode] | [name of show/season]

Example: That Day | Attack on Titan Season 3, Episode 21 Reaction

That Day | Attack on Titan Season 3, Ep 21 Fiance Reaction

Whereas I title it

[small unique reaction to episode] | [title of show] | [name of episode]

Grisha's Origin Story! | Attack on Titan Season 3 Fiance Reaction | Ep 20 “That Day"

With this in mind, should I switch to the more concise, less original version? I have a feeling google searching it would be easier, what do you all think?

Google will find it because you still include the episode title which season it is and so on. I dont think there is any point in changing it

Kade_Kapes

I don’t think anyone is going to call you a sellout or anything just because you changed the description/title, but I’m not really sure if it will make it more searchable or not.

Selim

i think what you’re doing now is nice. maybe sth along the lines of [your reaction] | Name of Show 3x20 “title” [further additions ie fiancé reaction etc. ] in this case 3 would be the season and 20 the episode

Echodec

I think the current format is nice, it adds to an otherwise generic aspect of videos

Jinchuriki87

Doesn't seem it would make a difference since you still include the other basic info regardless, so I'd say keep it. It gives a unique spin to differentiate your content from others.

I know that when I search something on YouTube, I tend to avoid the titles that aren’t straight to the point to avoid clickbait. If I saw your title, I would probably assume that it’s just you posting highlights instead of a real reaction and I would avoid it. Since I found you on TikTok when you were doing avatar I didn’t have to find you on YouTube but I could see it being something new potential viewers may avoid

Sebastian

I think you should change Fiance back to girlfriend or maybe even wife. I'm guessing with youtube girlfriend/wife are more searchable terms vs fiance

Amelia

I like the way you do it! It gives it its own special flair

Camzeee

I like the titles you give. But I'd have the key details as part of it in one line. I also think 'couple' is the best term for you guys. It will always apply to your relationship and people are more likely to search for that than 'wife' or 'girlfriend' or 'fiance' Suggestion would be: Grisha's Origin Story! | Attack on Titan Season 3 Ep 20 | Couple Reaction But of course it's just a suggestion. You guys are great and this is super minor.

JHB

I'm going to second Camzee above: "Couple" better reflects the current setup. The "girlfriend" phrasing was appropriate for when you were mostly watching things Kenny had seen but not Montana (ATLA, maybe early season(s) of Korra, the start of AOT), but currently you're watching shows that you're both going into blind (or with a mere smattering of pop culture references you'd been exposed to). You're a couple reacting, so....

Iliad

Piggybacking the others on couple, but another thought is to put the unique line at the end for your artistic integrity, so Attack on Titan Season 3 Ep 20 | Couple Reaction Grisha's Origin Story!

God suck at typing tonight; for searches its more about the phrases people are likely to search in chunks or put in quotes to find than the other of them so thinking of order, but the order is important for sorting and archival of your creative work and ease of finding for the audience, and how you feel comfy having it as a system, ta know?
