I think blue, from the wind magic, to the moon shadow elves, Callums clothing, it's a colour that appears a lot.

I agree. The show is awash in blues, particularly how the show depicts nighttime. It's not super realistic, but the blue hues keep the beautiful backgrounds a constant feature of the show.
