Rewatching this in hysterics because of Montana's somehow musical 'nnanananannannoo' when mustang almost gets stabbed at 5:49 🤣🤣

ColtonKP

Small thing, the title for this should be "Lost Light" instead of "Eternal Leave" :)

lol, I was about to say that I swear we had this ep already

rupeestarmie

“I love how cold and focused your eyes are. I look forward to the day when those eyes will be wide with agony.” - Lust’s dying words to Mustang

Tmatts

Waiting for these final episodes is about to be harder than ever lol

>>97540626

I thought I was tripping for a moment when I saw the title lol

Austin Wiebel

these last 5 e episodes are on some god tier levels 🙌🔥🍻

MrGraandor

So hyped for the coming EPs, 57-64 are the best episodes imo.

Burk314

I find it so interesting that he's convinced Al's body is part of Father's plan when the plan is something that has been worked on for literal centuries.

Robin Jansson

Souls can not be in other vessels for too long.

NICK FROST

PLEASE WATCH THE BLOOPERS WHEN YOU’RE DONE!!!

I thought that the plan was to find 5 candidates, and then out of the five choose 1 to inhabit, so I thought maybe that pointed to Al being the best choice because of how “charged with the truth” his body would be from living there? Haha but not all theories can be correct!

Sydney

you talking about death note for the non-patrons got me crazy excited before i realized lol.

NICK FROST

Awww the discussion of what y’all would rather give up lol

Calvin

So how are you guys enjoying the endings we've been getting from the last few episodes? 😈

matthew james Stromberg

if al didnt go back father would have been like :l well crap i guess thats it then

imcalledgpk

Let's go! More eyerolls from cliffhangers!

Wade Kruse

“WELL THERE GOES MY PLANS FOR THE WEEKEND”

Ryan Tinkham

Whenever Ed sees the truth its wearing his arm and leg so does that mean Alphonse body is just the truth wearing it

Tmatts
>>97547019

That's actually an interesting idea, although Al's weak body probably wouldn't be a good choice here

Haorii

I know your next anime are kinda set with Death Note and MHA (can‘t wait for it) but please consider watching Hunter x Hunter. Maybe you the first two episodes for a test run

Carl

please!!! consider watching cowboy bebop

fr0st

I wonder if y'all forgot or disregarded when Ed came across Al's body and tried to bring it back and the body said I can't go with you, you're not my soul. Do you think the body will just go with any body at this point when it seems to clearly have an attachment to the "correct" soul and admires Al's selflessness.

David L

continuing to throw in Fruits Basket (2019) in the mix because that show is great and more people should know about it. Plus a nice change of pace for the anime side of things.

They watch many of shows during the week so they likely forgot but they do tend to talk a lot during the show and miss details as a result. I don't think they disregard it, just missed it or forgot.

fr0st
>>97578350

Yeah, just funny that they either forgot that or maybe thought it wasn't relevant anymore. xD

YES, fruits basket has been redone recently too and definitely had a lot of mental health and interpersonal relationship (and therefore, of course, trauma) themes

R. Lewis

There's a fun fan theory that suggests the Truth went easy on Mustang because he was unwilling. Considering how everyone else actually has parts of their body ripped away, he did get off a lot easier than the others. The Truth COULD have just taken his whole eyes.

Letts React
>>97591025

Yea, I think Mustang would have a hard time watching too 😭😭😭 I’ll see myself out

Ryne C. Snyder
>>97587961

Seconding this all the way. I honestly think they've both enjoy the show immensely, and I think Montana in particular would really love it.

Jordan Torres

Notice that AL and ED say similar things to ALs body when they're getting taken away

Krisapphire

"The thought of never seeing your face again? I'd rather die." First time I've cried watching one of these.

Azurai

King Bradley is literally just a man too angry to die.

Soleil

When Mustang lost his sight, he *did* gain something from Truth (however unwilling): like Ed, Izumi, and Alphonse, he can perform alchemy without a circle. It's not about Truth realizing Mustang didn't open the portal of his own volition. See, Truth doesn't exactly care about the morality of a situation when those who come to his presence arrive there. It's content to let the chips fall as they may, which kind of makes it a "god-like" creature in this universe.

pineapplegreg

I agree with Montana, I would rather be a soul in a suit of armour than lose my vison

Andrés Guzmán
>>97578350

They probably forgot, but I remembered this precisely when they wrongly said this could happen with some other soul.
