Omg you NEED to watch Amphibia at some point! Please!

Dilazzaurus

I’d love to see you guys react to Soul Eater!

PearseNation

I always kinda forget that Ling and Mei are siblings.

L.C.

Ed ends off the series by dressing and acting exactly like his dad

Letts React

Thank you all for an amazing series! We will be watching the first 2 ep of Death note today and posting ep 1 tonight/early tomorrow!

imcalledgpk

Not much left to say, the series' greatness speaks for itself. The only thing might be that at the time it was a ridiculous marvel in anime production. The final chapter of the manga was released on June 11th, 2010, and this episode aired on July 4th 2010, less than a full month apart. Studio Bones and their collaborators did an incredible job, and it stood the test of time. On that note, Happy New Year Kenny and Montana! Looking forward to 2023!

fr0st

Amazing and thank you for all the great content, folks. It's already 2023 here in Australia so happy new year to you folks when it ticks over to the new year to you!

justyouraveragefangirl

Amazing thank you for all the hard work you guys put in to this channel! Hope you’s have a happy new years and I’m looking forward to death note and more of the owl house 💖

Retied

Happy new year is incoming!

Cody Simpson

Yay! I was curious how you were gonna do AOT. We’re you gonna do an episode as soon as it’s dubbed or wait till it’s all out?

NICK FROST

Scar's smile when he said "you can call me anything" was sooooooo heartwarming

Allan romero

Are may and ling siblings? I thought they were both kids of the emperor

Fukkyu Bisch

here's a fun tidbit of information: Ling's eye color and Mustang (Non blind) are very alike, so obviously Mustang is of Xingese descent on at least one side. HOWEVER, there is a theory that goes even further than that. the only thing people in-the-know are 100% sure of is that his birth mother was a xingese woman who fell in love with an amestrian man, and Roy was born out of wedlock, but the theory is that his mother was actually one of the emperor's wives. this could explain his ambition to be the fuhrer of amestris, also... with just a few extra letters you could make Roy into Royalty. just a hunch, but I think his first name (possibly given by his foster mother, Kris,) is a hint to this for us fans and theory vultures to pick apart down to the last sinewy detail.

They're half-siblings they share a father. If I remember correctly there's something like 50 clans in Xing and the emperor takes a wife from each clan and the children are officially members of their mothers clan but they are all considered heirs competing for the throne so whichever heir becomes emperor their clan will gain a lot of power and influence.

Edward, destroyer of worlds

Now that you've finished the series, you should watch the FMA:B Movie The Sacred Star of Milos

Roy Meulblok

It was such a delight watching your reactions to this amazing show. Thank you.

Sean Nissen

There are outtakes to watch for the series. They are amazing!

AJ Hutchinson

Congrats yall! Yalls input and insight to the series is what has kept me consistently coming back for more and I am excited to continue watching and reacting with yall!!!!

ryan davis

there's also a movie called Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa, however its a continuation of the original full metal alchemist, not brotherhood, its good to watch, whether by yourselves or on here :) its not as good as the series however, so up to you on how you want to leave the series :P

Danilo Azzolini

Love this!!!! You know what... you should consider watching the legend of vox machina, you you hear a lot of familiar voices 😘

MissSunFlower94

To this day Brotherhood has the most satisfying ending of any media I’ve consumed. It really is the perfect example of how to stick the landing for every single arc and I will never stop recommending this show for that alone

Echodec

Mob Psycho 100 is really good, hope you guys can get around to it some time

Mikey

The Pride scene always worries me because he could have intentionally maimed the bird himself

Sunshrine

I'm not sure if you guys noticed, but in the train scene, Ed was wearing Hohenheim's clothing. It's such a nice little touch to show how much he cared for his father.

Hellrell129

Are you guys gonna watch the movie as well for full metal alchemist brotherhood?

Zach

Ed,last episode, asking the girl out, she says "Equivalent exchange is nonsense" and bro IMMEDIATELY went from heartfelt emotion to "THAT'S BLASPHEMY!"

Scar
>>98614395

I only ever noticed how much he looked like his father, I never knew it was his actual clothes:(((

Mortis

You guys should watch at least the 4th ova for this series. All the ovas are good but the fourth especially adds so much to the series.

Michael

Something kinda funny I noticed, at some point Ed gets a massive haircut. When he beats Father it's in a massive braid all the down his back, then when we next see him its in a much smaller pony tail.

bloodyshadow1

an interesting thing about Mustang's eyes, unlike everyone else who saw the truth, he didn't lose his eyes, he only lost his sight. Hoenheim said you can't get back what you lost due to your sin, but I think it's because Mustang didn't actually commit the taboo, he was forced to so he didn't lose his eyes, just his sight, and that was able to be restored because the Truth is a trickster and kind of a dick, but I don't think it likes cheaters either

Austin Wiebel

such a joy to watch this again with you two 🥹🥳🍻 ok which tattoo from the show would each of y’all get? I got Scars left arm of reconstruction on the forearm so far

fr0st
>>98614395

Yeah and his hairstyle from the back is not his usual braids we've grown to recognize, it's straight ponytail down the back, like Hohemheim's hair. Many hearts.

fr0st

Loved this journey with y'all. Thank you for sharing your reactions and thoughts with us and have a fantastic new year!

fr0st
>>98613927

Yeah, I actually liked that because it is open ended enough to see how the nature vs nurture debate will play out for homonculi. Can Pride be redeemed with a loving mother or will his nature as Pride win out in the end?

VXP
>>98625404

Interesting way of seeing it. Sound's plausible. Since anyone entering the portal has to give something up, the Truth maintained the rule by taking something from Mustang but realizing the situation, he decided to just shut off his sight knowing he'll get it back. I guess it's just left to the imagination but your take sounds tight.

fr0st

Also welcome to the cutest proposal in anime, bar none. xD

HamboneKablooey

It's been so incredible following y'alls first reactions to this series that has been so close to my heart! I can't wait to see what comes next! Please please please, even if you don't get to it any time soon, add Eureka Seven to the list of future watches, it's SUCH a good show! 50 episodes, blending action, drama, and a bit of romance, with amazing themes!

jamurano

As you guys get into Death Note, there is a common misconception. It wasn’t a million dollars per episode, it was a million dollars for the movie that was made (I believe it was live action and not very good). The actual amount spent on each episode isn’t known. :) Also, it has, in my opinion, one of the absolute best opening songs ever!

Azurai

Legitimately one of the best anime series of all time.

Nathan

Day 5 of asking you to watch band of brothers

John

please consider adding code geass to the poll please its very similiar to fma and death note, its fully completed show and its super emotional!!! And rated to be one of the best anime of all time

bloodyshadow1
>>98625404

i got the idea watchign the ova's where the other alchemist lost his eyes trying human transmutation. I know they're not canon, but it made me realize that other than roy and hoenheim, all other sacrifices lost body parts that couldnt be replaced. But Roy and Hoenheim didn't because they were forced into the truth and didn't, only lost parts of themselves or forced into hell

Bowl

Code Geass is a must watch. Very great show and 2 seasons long. Lot of content and no one who watches it regrets it

John Ock

yall gotta do code geass, its to me nearly on par with this show. its like chess the anime and i think its the superior death note

Jeremy

I would absolutely love for you guys to watch ranking of kings

Curtis Mitchell

So happy to see you watch one of my fav animes! I cant wait to see you watch the bloopers!!! And Deathnote! I think you will love it!

Darthwin Wright

Fate Zero would be great to see a reaction of. Outlaw Star would be a good anime that is both classic and not long.

Ray

I'm a few days late, but I just wanted to say I loved going on this journey (for the 10th time) with you two. Your insights were fun, and I loved seeing how much you enjoyed the show. It's one of my top faves and I agree that everything comes full circle for each character. Hopefully you get a chance to watch the bloopers, they're pretty fun! A few times in this last episode I found my mind replacing the actual dialogue for the ones said in the blooper reel XD. Thanks for being awesome reactors! Wishing you the best in 2023 :)

Chelle

Best love confession scene ever

Elizabeth T.

Thank you so much for watching this show. I adored your viewpoints and theories. It meant so much to see you experience this for the first time, we really loved it. I'd advocated for this series for so long, and I am so thankful to now see the end of this journey with everyone. Amazing reaction. Please continue making content, your thoughts and ideas are appreciated!

Holly Brawner

Couple details. She's wearing his hoodie from when he returned 2 years ago, love that. Also they were supposed to kiss where they hugged but Arakawa didn't know how to draw kissing and honestly, I relate

Jason
>>99036822

Do you have a source for that kissing fact? I’ve asked over a hundred people at this point that post it in comments and not one person has been able to source it.

Holly Brawner
>>99036822

From what I heard (on Pinterest) it was in an interview or in one of her art books, where she felt it awkward and honestly, the scene works with or without it so I don't think it makes much difference, they get married either way

EmberQuill

Every time I start to think I've maybe seen a better anime than FMAB, I watch it again and realize I was wrong. It's still my favorite anime series 13 years later, and it has probably my favorite ending of anything, period. The decision to devote a full episode to an epilogue worked incredibly well, wrapping up all the dangling threads nicely and giving a nice, proper ending to every major character's journey.
