Æther Paradox

No spoilers, but the new AOT is awesome. Get hype for the dub when it drops!!!

I started late with AoT, so I don't know their release shedule. How long does it take, until the dub comes out?

Your friend's dad did the smart thing. How many people have their parents pay for college and the child doesn't take it seriously? If you think the cost is coming out of your own pocket, you'll be so much more invested in your education.

I disagree. My dad paid for my education, but I worked extremely hard (to the detriment of my mental health) and passed with like a 3.5 (I think, give or take). Whereas my friend pays for her own tuition and constantly drops classes and hasn’t been enrolled in the last year and a half even though she hasn’t graduated. In my opinion, it depends on the person and the situation.

I would say there are two major factors that make Misa's change a lot less drastic than Light's. First, she has a very different relationship with death going into it; she watched her parents murdered in front of her, the murderer nearly get exonerated only to be killed, and she was nearly murdered by a stalker only to watch him die in front of her. I think all that gave her a much more cavalier attitude towards life and death from the start, at least compared to a bored honor roll student. Second, Misa had it for less time and basically only ever saw/used it as a tool to find Kira. She did not however, make the Death Note her entire personality. Whether it was underlying psychosis bubbling to the surface or a coping mechanism to deal with having murdered two people, Light very much makes his entire identity about being Kira.
