YES ITS HERE

Scar

Let’s GOOO

Olive

Yessss, I'm so excited for this! I really hope you end up continuing with this one!

Chef_ Iris

So excited to see you guys react to this show! It is beautifully done with great themes spread throughout!

Mortis

I think you should do chainsaw man first solely because it’s so much shorter. And then do this show after chainsaw man. Also please watch fruits basket. I will always suggest that.

Gavin Daniels

One of my first and all time favorite animes. Really hope this is the one that gets continued

KariNull

I enjoyed this reaction

fr0st

You know, I don't really care about MHA much (it's fine) but Kenny's emotional reaction has gotten me on board. Love it when someone has that much passion and emotional attachment to a series.

Rebecca Funk

One of my favorites i say you should do this one 100%

Letts React

This is something we def are considering, since we have to film ahead at least 22 ep into a new series before we go to our wedding/honeymoon, we could do chainsaw man followed by any of the other 3

jolly

that sounds like a good idea

Drexcy

Let’s goooo!!! Really hope this is the chosen one and I can’t wait to see the journey

Peter Film

As a big fan of Chainsaw Man I dunno if Montana would enjoy it tbf. Definitely after first ep see if she's interested? If so Definitely a good 12 ep binge.

fr0st

legitimately one of the great things about you two as reactors (and the channel in general) is that you're not afraid of bringing vulnerability and showing how much you love the thing. genuinely your enthusiasm for it has convinced me to give it another go (I stopped after S1 the last time). :)

john

AHH! THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!

Markub El Jaden

I loved the reaction, out of all the options this is definitely the one I would like for you to choose.

King Explosion

This is one of my favorite animes, I’m so excited to see this posted!

Jack Luna

Even if it's not now, I sure hope yall do this at some point!

Ferret

Love this show, very excited to see y'all react to more of it to the point where your decision to take a look actually kickstarted me rewatching the entire series.

Jaelyn Mcgee

As much as I love MHA and struggle with the same audio processing issues, I've only ever been able to watch it in the sub, because of how it was introduced, and the fact that it's in a different language forces me to pay attention to the plot, where as with English dubs some of the vocal performances or translated dialog just sound so wrong to me its hard to get into it, despite them being very well preformed. I fully understand why you're choosing dubs in this case, and while it's still not my cup of tea , I'm willing to give a chance because of how much you're clearly enjoying it.

Stephanie Aris

Yes! I'm so excited to see you react to this series. It's a great show and I think you'll love it.

Jinchuriki87

As many times as you've mentioned this show to Montana during other reactions, I've been DYING for this to happen. I will happily re watch this entire amazing show just for y'all's reactions. Don't know if you'll see this, but just to ask. Will y'all be planning to watch the movies should this be the show yall end up sticking with?

Gestrid

Haven't even finished watching your reaction, but I really love that you put You Say Run at the beginning of it!

Vys

I'm very excited for this show!! Also, I saw it in your eyes Kenny, you noticed something about that guy lol I can't wait to see what else you may pick up on, as well as Montana's reaction and analysis if you guys move forward with this show <3

David L

Something else worth considering is, instead of committing to the entirety of MHA all in a row, you could weave other shows in between the seasons. Also Fruits Basket

Gestrid

Heh, I saw your face during that one thing, Kenny. ;) Wonder if Montana will notice.

Conner Altizer

It's gonna hurt so much waiting for another episode, whether it's the anime you are choosing next or not.

Devon P

I was kinda hoping that with being such a big fan boy as he is Kenny would want to film and upload TWO episodes just so he could share that Iconic moment in Episode 2 with Montana that much quicker. ^_^

David L

It does seem like watching shows with subtitles is a kind of a learned skill even for a lot of non-APD having people. I've been doing it so long that I honestly don't remember how difficult or not it was for me (I also have APD to be clear) since it's basically just second nature now. Of course the whole reacting part adds an entire extra element which is probably the hardest part

Jericho

Been looking forward to this reaction! I love how much Kenny loves MHA, this series has a special place in my heart, would love for this to be your reaction series after Death Note.

David L

My anticipation for this wasn't too high going in, but watching this one definitely got me more excited to watch this reaction than I've otherwise been.

Peter Film

The pain I felt at the idea of 400 episodes haha. I think it's 25 more at most but who knows with this writer. It's been in the final arc for a year already

eli_lane

Not gonna lie I was hoping the same, but I totally don't blame them for sticking with just 1 to make it fair with the other shows. (Just hoping MHA becomes the next choice so we get to Ep 2 that much faster 👀)

Peter Film

Japanese people do like fan service they do have vending machines that give out underwear and sex hotels, the age of consent is also 13 so their content from 12 and up is much more provocative with fan service or straight up inappropriate shows. It's an odd culture thing but eventually you get used to it.

CoronerPerry

Man I love this show. I would love to see you guys react to the rest of it!

Haley Mather

I can’t wait for when you guys get to more episodes!

jolly

i love mha but i think chainsaw man should go after death note since it’s its so short. then mha 🙏

Morsiopei

keep the dub but add the sub to get the translation for the infos if possible

Joe Dunams

Did Kenny just notice who Deku's Doctor is? lol. This is going to be fun :)

Joe Dunams

The best way to think of the hero profession in MHA is like professional athletes. Yes 80% of the real world population can run and jump but that doesn't make us capable of being a professional athlete. Same with having a quark doesn't make you a hero. You have to be born with a ton of natural talent and/or train very hard and long to develop that talent to a high enough level to beat out all the other people you're in competition with. There are many quarks that are not suited for hero work.

Casey Turner

Love this show! I can already tell you guys would enjoy this! I’d recommend either this show or Chainsaw man (just since it’s amazing and short so you can get back to this faster)

Mercedes Mac Nighten

Its definitely more than 25 episodes left. They have enough content for a whole next season already and its not ended yet.

Nerains

imagine if you guys reacted to One Piece considering that anime has over 1000 episodes LOL

Gabriel Dobson

I stopped watching this series because of my ultimate dislike of the grape fruit kid. Which is also annoying because I was really enjoying it.

frigiggle

I fucking love this show! Please react to this!

Jaelyn Mcgee

Yeah that makes sense, and also for me, it depends on what language I was introduced to the show in. Plus with subs there's extra difficulty if the font is small, I know that a lot of the reactions to subbed anime are more difficult for me to watch due to the sub dialog sometimes getting super blurry with some of the patreon reactions. For me I also think I enjoy subs cause since the descriptions are built in lol, as where if I put subs on for a dubbed performance, the dialog might not match up with what's being said and it's very confusing for my brain to process. Though I know for a fact that the English VA for Deku is great, I was originally introduced to him via Team Four Star's Final Fantasy 7 abridged as Cloud.

Scar

You underestimate how many chapters fit into one episode. After this arc in the manga ends (where they are almost caught up) there’s only one more arc left. So yeah maybe more than 25 episodes, but it’s only going to be one more season which could be 20-35 episodes

Izrail Gevorgyan

Exactly this. For people who aren’t used to it. But when almost every anime has a character that’s the pervert character or some type of fan service. You very quickly get used to it.

Maks Lesniewski

Having to wait for you to react to the rest of this show after you've done another show is gonna be torture, so I'm really hoping this is ultimately gonna win.

yani

so excited for you to watch this! if you end up watching it all, I know that Kenny and Montana's analytical mind set will fit the show so well :)

yani

Kenny smiling ear to ear the entire episode, its so wholesome, this is great! :D

Peter Film

@Kenny I would recommend downloading Dub with CC should be easy, and if you pay for the site like Crunchy or Netflix it's not really bad. VLC and Windows Media Player can track CC subtitles onto text and live translate and I dunno if streamers can?

Peter Film

Having to wait through 146 episodes over 2 years to see another show will be torture for me my guy cmon.

Mariana J

Dang now I gotta rewatch my hero

Official Sofzx

FINALLY LESS GO i just caught up on this show too

Justin Johnson

Yes! I just got finished the last episode of season 6 and I'm so down to rewatch this. I love sub and dub so no problem there.

ItzHelvet

hope this mha will be chosen! love this show

Letts React

It’s gonna be around a year and a half if we do it, or faster, and with the Saturday slot we could add more shows, we’ll see!

Letts React

Give it another try! I simply take moments like that and say to myself “this is obviously not ok, but also not connected to the overall show” so I kinda just mark how bad it is then move on haha

jolly

yes!!! agreed

Gabriel Dobson

One of my besties is reading the manga and I keep asking her if he’s still around being perverted and useless 😅

Danny C

Oh man this was a nice surprise! Really hope you two keep this series! Especially looking forward to how Montana reacts to the Todoroki storyline.

Keyblade

Even though I watched the new AoT Episode in Sub, I very much prefere watching dub for the same reasons as you two have. I can't read and focus on the action on the screen at the same time. My eyes are glued to the bottom of the screen the whole time, when watching sub basically. The fact, that you watch in dub is the main reason I subscribed to the Patreon.

Kat

I love how much Kenny loves this show. I run to the music too. I've changed my mind on what I want to win based off this video lol. I hope it wins so you guys can watch it together.

2026-10-28 00:00 Anyone who has seen the most recent few episodes, recognizes one of the by-standers near the start?
2023-03-25 22:32

MossyCastle

Got me rewatching all of season 1 again smh

Ethan Honza

I saw Kenny’s face when the Doctor told Izuku he had no quirk. I saw that face… No spoilers.

Michael

I'm not sure but did we see Kenny realizing exactly who Deku's doctor is?

christian

Defintely think this is the best option for the new reaction. There's so much out and Kenny loves it. CSM and JJK would be cool but there's only one season out right now for both.

Unlucky Trandon

Well, I think you should expect him to stay around because Japan loves him. He was the 31st most favorited character in the second popularity poll and 18th most favorited in the first.

Gabriel Dobson

That’s an insult to all the other characters. What the hell are people thinking 😅

Jamal Cheatham

I’m here for more Cryptic Kenny. This feels like when y’all were watching Avatar. I’m excited to see more

Kinon115

This is one of my favorite shows I would love to see it be the next series you watch!

Haorii

Totally in for this show 😍😍😍

Coby

Is it just me or is the VA that voices the lab guy explaining how you can detect quirks in bones the same VA of the guy explaining everything ab titans from AOT?

Ela

HELL YESH IM SO HAPPY

Theo Umberwood

this would be an amazing reaction, especially since you might even catch up to S7 in time

Peter Film

It would take 72 weeks minimum to watch every episode aired. Add in Death Note final 6 weeks and AOT and the pilots of 4 shows they'd be maybe up to Season 7 a year after it ends. Hopefully if they do Kenny doesn't watch on his own also.

Peter Film

Though I'd prefer a shorter show and one they both haven't seen. Especially one I've seen and probably most have haha.

Jinchuriki87

Side note: I'm not the only one who noticed Kenny's reaction when he recognized a certain Dr in this episode. I myself just made that same connection not too long ago and I Imagine my face looked about the same! 🤣🤣🤣

Roy Meulblok

I really hope this show wins out because it is sooo much fun to watch.

Temeraire

Love MHA to death, would love to see it. But as has happened before, if Kenny has already seen the show, he's constantly asking leading questions or interjecting at the smallest detail. It detracts too much from the flow y'all have when it's an entirely new show.

TrixieTurner

This show makes me wanna go plus ultra.

eli_lane

Jumping on this point since a few people have mentioned it, but I do agree with Kenny having seen the show he seems to be hankering to ask Montana (somewhat leading) questions or ends up pausing more than might be considered necessary to a first-time viewer. Completely understandable!! I'd be ridiculously excited to introduce my partner to a series I know and love and know for a fact I would do the same. 😂 I honestly think it's adorable but do understand how it could become frustrating in the future. Maybe consider giving Montana primary reign over the pause button if y'all stick with MHA? Idk if there's a way to give her a remote or something based on your setup but I think the swap would help to avoid stopping in places that may seem less natural (since she'd be the one controlling it!) Super excited to see more MHA reactions regardless!

rupeestarmie

I really think this show should be your next series!

Letts React

I understand where you are coming from, but this is how we watched Attack on Titan and its honestly our best system, we do this even with the camera off, she just prefers to watch where I take her through as we watch! But I'm always careful not to spoil, no worries haha

Letts React

Honestly its so much more fun to watch when I've seen it because I know when to have us discuss and what to talk about generally haha, and there's no chance of a wrong answer from Montana accidentally making us misinterpret a scene and mess up info going forward. There's give and take from both styles, but from an editing and filming sense this is a WAY easier style!

eli_lane

Hey as long as it's Montana's preference can't fault that! You always pause when she asks anyway so I doubt it'd change the videos much, just potentially make it easier on you when the urge to spill info arises. 😂 I believe in you Kenny! You got this!!

Jazmine Griffith

being caught up on current manga I noticed A LOT of callbacks to ep 1

NOT-ME YOU

this is a great show for you to watch also we love the dynamic of kenny knowing and montana finding out hahaha and i feel like by the time you catch up they will put out more mha more .

Mekar

You gotta remember that Bakugo's VA is Connie Springer in AOT. Just think of nice little Connie saying the things that Bakugo does and it's hilarious. Also LMAO at Kenny's face when the doctor appeared. He has clearly never rewatched this episode before. He was shook.

Bread&Jam Reacts

I’m also caught up on MHA. Fantastic show! Too much fan service and I hate one of the characters (I’m sure everyone knows who I’m referring to), but otherwise very enjoyable. :)

Ebronics

another great show. i forgot how annoying the mains were in the start.

WyvernicRift

pleeeease, Montana will have so much fun with this one, can't wait for her to try and unpack Todoroki's trauma

flounderedfish

PLEASE HAVE MHA BE YOUR NEXT SERIES 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

Than Ament

Very good an lots of content.

Scar

Very excited for this one, unfortunate that Kenny has seen it AND is caught up (I’m hoping by the time they recorded this he at least hasn’t seen all of season 6 because it was a great one) but I know Montana would have the most fun with this one in general and a bonus she will learn more about classic shonens and get use to the stupid humor and fan service most anime have so that way y’all can explore more shows without her being too confused or put off by them! I know it’s long but I’m so looking forward to all the analyzing and questions she’ll have plus the emotional moments and character developments are good, plus the fact there’s so many to learn about and we get content on nearly all of them so she’ll surely find a few favorites! And Kenny make sure your knowing looks are discreet;) I know I’m always excited to show people this show and unknowingly spoiler but be prepared to say a lot of idks to keep her on her toes like the rest of us had to lmao

Brendan Tardiff

Out of the current picks for a new series I feel that Montana would enjoy this series the most. In terms of series with deep psychology to dissect which is one of my favorite things you guys do Code Geas would be your best pick.

Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen #1

Please pick this as the new series! I had to subscribe to y’all here for the first time just cause I couldn’t wait any longer to see your reaction to the pilot! I think this show has many great reaction worthy scenes and can’t wait to start the journey again with y’all

Doge Creations

I've noticed quite a few ppl saying how they'd wish you wouldn't ask questions so much. But honestly it's one of my fav things about this channel, esp when Kenny has already seen the show. Idk, it's just such a fun dynamic having someone who's seen it and one who hasn't. Feels like Kenny's reacting the same way we are :)) (Also i wont lie, MHA is one of my fav animes next to AOT, so ofc i'm really hype about this in general lol)

Megan

please pick this one. you are one of the very very few who actually watch dub and i have audio processing issues too and i really appreciate it. and i love your compentary its really enjoyable to watch and this is like my favorite show!!!

OceanPhantom

This show definitely already won Kenny is very excited to watch this I wish the middle part of this show wasn’t a drag to get thru but I guess it’ll be fun before that.

Lizzy

We know Kenny love this series, and Montana would most likely enjoy this one the best, as she expressed interest in quirks already. This is such a good show, please continue it!

Oppiee

more pls :)

Graham

That kid is literally the worst.

Graham

It’s not like it’s bad- but every other show in the running has more going for it imo.

Patrick Dawson

This is gonna be a little harsh but if i could i would vote against MHA it really fails to deliver after S3

Kyle MacDonald

While 'after S3' is technically correct, it's specifically S5 that fails to deliver. S4 is the best of the series to date and S6 really redeems the failures of its immediate predecessor.

Ashley Garcia

It’s so funny how everyone tells you to pick an anime based on an analysis standpoint lol just pick whichever y’all enjoy the most!

FallinSon76

This show please, let’s gooooooooo plus ultra

KaJeMa27

Please watch MHA. It’s one of my faves. I throughly enjoyed your guys’ Avatar and Korea series. I loved your input and would love to see Montanas view on the show. There’s so many big moments.

Madara_Uchiha_2022

Also they changed the age of consent to 16 not 13 anymore

Peter Film

I did say this in a later comment but super recently change haha

Peter Film

I dunno I've not ever got used to it

Tyler Smead

Funny seeing Kenny instantly recognize the Doctor upon rewatch

L.C.

I don't know anyone else besides normies that say fanservice in anime is annoying. Fanservice is greatly appreciated by the fans of shonen and most anime and manga fans. Most anime fans aren't normies. Its weird seeing normie people that don't watch anime much always complaining about stuff like that when you aren't the main demographic in the first place... Shonen in particular is meant for young teenage/adult males. They do fanservice cause its appreciated by that audience more than not. You may have yourself surrounded by a group of certain people that think fanservice is annoying but that is not majority of the fanbase of anime and manga. Anime and manga have gotten mainstream now so its being hit from all spectrums of people and its sometimes annoying to see because they just can't leave it alone and either accept it or support it. Everyone does not agree that fanservice is annoying. If you watch other anime that aren't simply mainstream anime you will find that out pretty quick.... I had never seen this full length reaction so its weird coming back and seeing this stuff.

L.C.

Its funny cause some anime are centered around fanservice happening all the time and it gets plenty of support over the many years anime and manga has been made

L.C.

I guess normies in my head are just people that indulge in the usual basic stuff and dabble in the most mainstream anime and don't tend to go off that track. People will consider themselves anime fans but only bother with the most mainstream anime and not watch any of the other amazing anime that don't hit mainstream popularity

mastertater

ya i cant watch sub im glade i fine yall bc i can only fine people who watch sub

Brony Time

If they really hate fanservice so much, there are plenty of shojo that don't have it at all.

Kurisha

Just subscribed I’m so glad a found yall

Loki (not that one)

I feel like there are two issues with fan service. 1, that it happens with underage characters. 2, that it only happens to women. I feel like if it only happened with adults, and if it happened equally between men and women, then a lot less people would have a problem with it
