Code Geass fs

Salad Dressing

Just my 2 cents I’ve seen all the shows here except for Chainsaw man. I’ve put it off because it doesn’t seem like something I would like. I watched your reaction to the first episode and can honestly say, it didn’t inspire me to continue watching. Code Geass without a doubt has the best story on this list. I think overall it’s better than Death Note because of how they both end. For your channel, it’s probably better to watch something ongoing because if you’re caught up to a bunch of ongoing shows it does a lot for growth. While I like My hero more than Jujutsu Kaisen, it’s probably better to go with Jujutsu kaisen first since you can get to the latest episode faster, that way you can then start watching My Hero. One thing I do think will make this decision easier is increasing upload frequency. I get not everyone can do this so it’s fine. Love your channel regardless of the direction you take, you both have some of the best reactions.

annie

hoping for jjk 🤞

Bradley Hall

Code Geass though I imagine CSM or MHA will win cause it's more modern but yall will miss out on watching K&M react to more mind games that Code Geasd will give.

defnotdai

Honestly, I like all of these shows, so I'll be happy with whatever wins. But since it looks like mha and code geass are leading, If I had to choose, I'd choose mha. Though I really wanted jjk to win the most because season 2 is coming back in july.

SimoDexx

I think CSM is the better choice (right now), given that it has much less episodes than something like MHA. MHA will take a while to complete, meanwhile CSM will not. But, the final say is up to you.

monkeyman

cg is the best show on that list

Sibelius

I'd rather y'all watch a complete anime that doesn't have over a hundred episodes. So Code Geass it is.

Cassandra Nightshade

I am literally vibrating with excitement for My Hero Academia 🥰🥰🥰

Echodec

CSM is, so far, short and sweet so starting with that would be best imo. Can finish it pretty quickly and start another

James S

My heart believes Chainsaw Man will make for the most interesting and fun reaction series for the both of you to go into blind. The length of the season also helps. Second pick would be MHA.

Jenoze Wyvern

Waiting for the chances HxH, Re:Zero, Kakegurui, Aldnoah Zero or even Stein's Gate will be adding to the list ^^

Cassandra Nightshade

THE GODS OF PLUS ULTRA HAVE SMILED ON ME TODAY. I HOPE MHA WINS. Lots of love from to Kenny and Montana for putting up with our shenanigans ❤

slipHAZARD

Hoping for JJK or Chainsaw.

Recable

Is it 100% that you watch whatever show comes first in this poll? Because if so that means Code Geass wont win which is a shame.

GreatRiverofKings

Code Geuss has the most opportunity for questions and is a more in depth story. I know the polls are important, but CG is soooo good

Darthwin Wright
>>105398021

As many also said it works really well as a series following Death Note. Light and Lelouch often get compared.

Roy Meulblok

I watched + read 3 of the 4 shows and I voted for the one that gave me the most feelings, the most relatable moments. I did not watch Code Geass because I just don't agree with the visuals. THough I have heard many good things about it. That said, the 3 that I did watch all are amazing shows, but Chainsaw Man is the least.

GreatRiverofKings
>>105398021

That is fair. Honestly even if it doesn’t win I hope it stays on the list for when DN ends like you mentioned. I just think it would be a fun one to watch them react to.

Sam Cam

Code Geass masks the most sense plus it’s nice when you’re both new to a show

Zyrus

Code Geass is the best fit for you.

monkeyman

Lol not sure if it counts but I stayed Sub just to see if code won the other are YouTube watch only MHA is good but the story's slow and the other 2 have zero interest in

Calvin

I'm a little despondent on this topic since ranking of Kings didn't do so well. However I will thoroughly enjoy whatever you guys produce because I love the content you make.

Cat_Sidhe

Code Geass is really the best option for discussions and questions. It's also a finished show so you won't have to wait for new seasons.

Gestrid

Definitely hoping for My Hero Academia!

ItzHelvet

i‘d love to see My Hero win

William Morales

Code Geass makes the most sense as a follow on to Death Note in my opinion. It also has an ending unlike the other 3 which are ongoing.

Marcb92

I’m going to be honest, I wish Jujutsu Kaisen or Chainsaw Man won this poll because they only have 12 episodes each and we could get those reactions and then move onto a longer anime until the dub version of their season 2’s come out

Alejandro

Anything, but my hero please

JuanderfulJuans

Throwing my support to My Hero Academia.

Alec Urban

Throwing my support to MHA! PLUS ULTRA!

Recable
>>105396427

Didn't see that. I commented what I did because in one of the reactions I saw, you said about how the final poll will decide what you watch, I can't remember what episode it was though.

Dartz0023

Code geass all the way it has a lot better story and more interesting and is better than some lame super hero generic story imo.

KaladinStormLight

Code Geass is so much better!!! the story and the plot are just on another level from MHA. MHA can literally be boiled down to beat the "bad guy".

Matt Cory

Love your content! I would be happy with any of these! But from a straight which is better Code is so intricate and is a good follow up to death note!

ObeliskOdd

I really am hoping for Code Geass! Or Chainsaw Man. They're both great shows. My main concern with MHA is that it's Sooooo long and will hold that slot for a long time.

Jeremy

Omg Code Geass is so good also you have to check out the ranking of kings

jolly

i know MHA is gonna win all the polls but you guys really should watch chainsaw man or jjk first since they are so short!!

NITRO

One Piece

Fukkyu Bisch

Code geass, already finished, best story, best ending, least amount of fanservice, most like Death Note, best choice in the entire list. I can go on forever, but I just summed it up. Long story short: pick Code Geass.

Tim Itnyre

Really hope it's Code Geass. Just much better immediately after Death Note and My Hero Academia is such a long series that it will be forever before you get to other shows.

Scar

Really hoping for MHA! I don’t get what the other commenters are saying about it not being finished when by the time y’all catch us the next season, which should be the last unless they stretch it out, would either being finished or just coming out…

Darthwin Wright
>>105396427

It was probably a misunderstanding of what was said since it is mentioned quite often that engagement, comments, and votes for the various polls that factor into the outcome rather than just the vote alone.

Recable
>>105396427

Yeah I know, that’s why I felt the need to ask to make sure because of what I heard, as normally it has been like you said, where it’s not just the polls.

Scar

MHA would be finished within a year at least, but that isn’t as long as other people are making it out to be especially for us patreon users. And y’all could always take a break between seasons to watch another shorter show if y’all felt like it. Either way, it’s more important what y’all think is best for your channel and what you enjoy more, who cares how long it would take.

Scar

^unless it’s one piece lololol (my comments are editing I’m sorry)

David L

I mean I'm not surprised MHA is gonna win but still hoping for it not to be watched straight through

Mortis

I stick by my earlier sentiment. Chainsaw man first as it’s currently the shortest choice with just 12 episodes and it will still be a while before any more comes. Mha is 6 seasons and still going and Jujutsu is about to start its second season.

ISAAC HERNANDEZ

My Hero isn't that long but it feels longer which is what is a big turn off for a lot of people. Especially since you have to get through 2 seasons that are pretty meh with not much going on and that's not me disliking the show that's pretty well established. Either way I alway advocate for shorter anime since it's great for diversity of content. Hope you guys enjoy whatever you pick.

Calder Ryan

It really depends on what kind of show you want. With MHA there's just not really that much to react/discuss besides the characters doing cool things and great animation. I would say similar with JJK to some degree with more interesting powers/story. With CG and CSM those shows I in my opinion have a more interesting story that lends itself to discussion/ reactions and have more to say in their message to the viewer

Tim Ott
>>105420237

Idk about the least amount of fanservice lmao... not only is there a bunch, but a lot of it is also incredibly obnoxious. That's coming from a massive fan of the show, but it's certainly awful when fanservice is shown.

Jinchuriki87

Sooooo stoked MHA is leading! I'm super excited and hopeful y'all go with it! (I know Kenny definitely is! Haha) kinda shocked jjk fell behind so far though...what shows that don't win, do y'all plan on possibly revisiting later on? (Like I know DS had lost to FMA but then y'all started watching it later on)

Jermonster

I get why people like MHA, I watch it too but UGH .. Code Geass!

Mike E

Looks like MHA is winning in the voting polls, which isn't really a bad thing or surprising, but compared to most popular/well-known animes out there right now, it's pretty cookie cutter and bland (and that's as an opinion from someone who watched 5 seasons of it hoping it would get more interesting because the hype said it would). I haven't watched JJK so I can't comment on that, but CG is similar in many ways to Death Note (plus a fair amount of action), and CSM is action heavy but is packed with a lot of meaningful dialogue and story - there's no filler at all, and the animation is absolutely stunning. Honestly, I'm just hoping it will be any three except MHA

Haorii

Even though I love MHA and so does Kenny, I want to see you react to Code Geass 😍😍

Johanna

Where can i find the pilots on my Hero academia and chainsaw man? I cant seem to find them

Johanna

My Hero is really long so if Kenny and Montana is gonna watch it u should maybe watch a second anime thats shorter

Zyrus
>>105394003

MHA is not an anime that works well for them. Code Geass is much better suited to their interests.

Fukkyu Bisch
>>105420237

I dunno about that, but you know what's really obnoxious? Bashing someone else's opinion. It just makes the basher look desperate for validation. just for future reference, hun. <3

eli_lane

MHA or Code Geass! Or maybe Code Geass and /then/ MHA? 👀 Honestly I'd be cool with the wait as long as MHA is a definite. Can't wait to see what you guys choose!!

Eileen Hinman

I get people are hype about MHA but I feel like it’s such a commitment, plus it’s a show Kenny has already seen and I’m really enjoying the fresh reactions from both sides. I’m hoping for JJK mostly or CSM - I think these were sort of the sleeper picks in the pilot watches and they had great first watches and it would be easier to address those S1s first, switch to a season or two of another show, then come back as the subsequent JJK/CSM seasons roll out

Affinity

MHA is low tier compared to the other three

Bazil
>>105446956

Why do people say my hero isn't 'that long'. It's the 124th longest anime of all time. It has more episodes than all the other anime on the poll combined.

Ben

MHA is garbage compared to jjk and Code Geass why do ppl want these two to watch it so bad 💀

Trav

MHA is by far my favorite of these options, and I'm stoked to see it ahead, but you guys might want to consider pacing it out in chunks of a season or two at a time and then reacting to something shorter in-between because, honestly, I do get the complaint about the length.

Eisteepizza

I still think that Code Geass would be the best choice for this format. Especially after seeing you react to all four series. Its great for analyzing and discussion because it goes really deep on certain topics and has some interesting twists. It also is the most logical show to follow up after Death Note. They are both similar but also completely different. This show is a classic and considered one of the best anime for a reason. I really think you would love this show.

KariOne

Cant wait for mha

fr0st

Still campaigning for two anime shows, one eps a week each. One longer term, like MHA and one shorter, which can still be switched up for new shorter stuff. That way you keep the longer term folks and still have variety for growing the audience. By itself, MHA is too goshdarned long.

Keshan Fonseka
>>105516745

Totally on board with this. I'm not against Mha if it's done once a week alongside a shorter anime since this slot is for both Thursdays and Sundays

Darthwin Wright
>>105446956

I would have to guess they are comparing it to longer shows like DBZ, Sailor Moon, One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, or Pokemon.

Luca

MHA is a good anime with a better and better animation over time and a complex story but with only one episode per week it would take roughly 2 years and a half to catch up. In that much time you could react to many different shows 2-3 seasons long each...

Luca

What matters for them is the number of episodes and not the number of reaction videos. More content means more work regardless of how many reactions they upload I think.

ArtOfAdequacy

Yeah, I love MHA and all but I'm really sort of MHA'd out at this point. Which is my fault, because I definitely don't watch just 1 reaction channel. And with how long the show has been going on, I haven't even started the latest season. CSM feels like the one that'd make the most sense, but i'll take anything else.

Darthwin Wright
>>105420237

There is also the fact that most anime has fanservice. The only difference tends to be what trope variation of it is used.

Graham

Chainsaw Man or Code Geass for sure. JJK is really good too. MHA is just too long and too basic.

Keshan Fonseka

I Hope Code Geass does well on Youtube. Strongly recommend this series after Death Note

Keshan Fonseka

Congrats CG FAM... We did it on youtube. we came 1st. The 1st pilot video to get passed 50k views in just 4 days
