Lupikus

I can hardly wait!

“TV and Uber eats”. Yes, the bigger technological advancements humanity has made since the 1800s xD

Nerains

One note here is the scope of the day of unity that is already said. In the mind flashback the golden guard said "they're still alive" and belos replied with "then we got work to do". The goal of the spell is to kill every witch with a sigil. They're being a big vague with it in referring to the plan as hurting everyone and stuff but this is a genocide.

Once we're at people from the 1910s, I think a time traveler would assume it's normal technological progress rather than witchcraft. This depends on the type of person the hypothetical time traveler is, of course

If you watch it back you can actually see 'Luz' use the yellow-golden teleporting magic that Hunter uses. It's a little easter egg while you're watching hihi! Another great reaction you two. I can't believe you're almost done with the Owl House. I can't wait to see what you'll react to next!

Robin B

I never realized it before, but then the fight stars, we can see "Luz" teleporting to save Willow! A small hint to finding out Hunter and Luz switched places.

I need to stop watching these high because I'm always tempted to spoil things before I remember that's bad.

"We're going to need some extra animation budget for episode 20." "Oh, a big fight scene?" "Uh, yeah, fight..."

Home ice delivery, which began in the early 19th century, is basically just Uber Ice.

I noticed the first time that Luz used Hunters power and thought "huh, guess she figured out a symbol to replicate his power" and then the illusion ended and I...

If you go back and watch carefully, you can actually see “Luz” use Hunter’s golden teleporting powers to move Willow to safety. There’s also a blink and you’ll miss it moment where “Luz” has Hunter’s tooth gap as they enter the factory, and then “Luz” is staring at her own hands in confusion when Kikimora leaves

Yeah, I think Kenny and Montana got really caught up in the idea of the draining serving some purpose when in fact it’s just draining the witches of their life for the sake of it

Yea althouggbi was trying to be vague with only what's confirmed on the show theyhe watched so far (end result of all the effects is still up in the air at this point I think but hard tk judge with knowing)

Totally random and off topic...and I know you already did a poll on next western style show a while ago. But I randomly was reminded of a great show thats not an anime, so perhaps it would qualify. It's called "DOTA: dragons blood" it's short with like, 24 episodes I think. Just wanted to throw it out there.

Yeah, I think it's one effect of Disney cutting the show early and the creators having to rush the ending; A lot of stuff isn't explicitly stated or made clear enough, they just jump straight to characters talking about stuff we're supposed to already know. Like King being not just a titan, but the son of the Boiling Isles titan specifically.

Rewatching these “this could be you” behind Amity after the kiss is always the best
