Would love to know how we should watch the upcoming arc!

Comments

Coby

Movie for sure gives it that real cinematic feel that this season deserves and its easier to catch up with.

Juan

Definitely have to watch ep 1 of season two , it will give you a respect for a certain somebody making the movie even better!

Olivia Taylor

The 1st episode then the movie is the best way to go since it pays a little more attention solely on a character that's important in the movie.

Robin B

Movie THEN 2x1 and THEN 2x8? Hard to explain why without spoiling tho

dom

it doesnt really matter tbh posting "mugen train movie reaction" might get you more views on youtube tho

Mukuro justice division

Just a suggestion moving forward. In the crunchyroll settings, there's a setting that allows closed captions to be displayed. For example if a Name of a character appears on screen as an introduction, you would be able to tell what its saying. It not quite like subtitles and only appears when something like that comes up. Just saying because they might be useful in later episodes

jolly

i just wanna let you both know how much i appreciate you continuing to make content for us! you both are beautiful people and the only reactors worth paying for (imo). i hope you guys have the most amazing wedding this month!

Jinchuriki87

Glad to see most agree on the method. I personally think the episodic version of the movie, itself, is a disservice to it. Honestly, Mugen train is one of my favorite movies, like overall! That first episode though...you HAVE to watch it.

Ashley Garcia

I can’t wait for the reaction to this movie. 🤓

cLyNeSnOw

sooo. if we choose the movie will you react/ post it in one go? 😅

PKS
>>110861959

in both first 2 choices mugen train would be on reaction. otherwise thhey will not gain new audience.

cLyNeSnOw
>>110861959

oh yes. i was wondering if they will divide the posting of the movie reaction if chosen. like mugen train movie reaction pt1 , 2 and so on.

Gestrid
>>110861085

It messes with the pacing a bit too much and cuts out a scene from the beginning of the movie entirely.

Jinchuriki87
>>110861085

Maybe "disservice" isn't the right word...but essentially, to me anyway, it feels like them having to basically make up stop points throughout the movie takes away from the "flow" if that makes any sense. Haha.

FallinSon76
>>110861085

Oh yeah that makes more sense and I can see how that would mess up the flow my bad

Letts React
>>110861959

Mugen train would def be posted in one go as a movie! This would also accelerate the demon slayer series by 7 weeks (compared to posting it in 7 individual ep)!

Bradley Hall

Whatever gets me that movie reaction faster lmfao.

Jinchuriki87
>>110861085

Oh no apologies needed. Like I said, I probably could've used a better word! Haha

Manic Void

movie over season easy

Jacob

S tier movie

FallinSon76

I prefer the episodes over the movies the episodes add more to the story in my opinion I can’t say how without spoilers but both are great so it doesn’t really matter

Mekar

It was really nice to see 2x1 so long after seeing the movie as a prequel to the movie but I think if I was watching for the first time now I'd watch 2x1 first, then the movie, then the next arc (2x8 and on). The nostalgia feeling of watching 2x1 after the movie wouldn't be the same without the long wait I think.

Æther Paradox

I think I am game for either. I think I enjoyed the show just as much as the movie. Perhaps since it would be such long form content you could do the movie as a patreon exclusive and then the episodes could be put up like normal since DS is rough on Fair Use Law

Marissa Armstrong

the first episode is SO important…. it really establishes character

Eileen Hinman

I’ve only ever watched the episodes but based on everyone’s comments I support 2x1, movie, 2x8! I think it will be a cool format to get through this plus that will help progress through DS that much more quickly. It’s such a great arc id love to see it in movie format

>>110861959

i love season 2 but i cant WAIT for you guys to react to season 3. its soooooooo amazing and the animation is just...amazing

dan bissell

Movie->2x1->2x8 as and option in a repoll?

Kyle MacDonald

The only possible reason to pick the movie over the episodes is if you hated the show and wanted to get it over with faster. The episodes have vastly improved animation and a number of extra scenes not found in the movie.

PKS
>>110882756

what ? why? just because you watched it like that? They should watch in chronological order as they are watching now, Movie released earlier thats why many of us watched it in you sequence.

PKS
>>110884103

Second that. But as YT audience we will get more content faster. So I chose option 1

dan bissell
>>110882756

It’s hard to explain without spoilers, but the order of watching changes the framing of the episode, as well as adds and or takes away dramatic irony

Allermann

The movie leaves less of an impact in episode form/ watched over a long time. So it be great if you watch the movie in one go.

Jaé-De Milton

Very much disagree with the poll results. watch the episodes!!! I made the mistake of just watching the movie and deeply regretted it a few years later

Zen Reacts

Go with the poll results. If you watch the movie in episode form the emotional impact is going to be severely hindered

Snow
>>110896078

The movie is outstanding and you don't lose any real content from not watching the episodes. Episode 1 + the movie is a great way to watch it.

Markub El Jaden

The first episode of the 2nd season is like a filler prequel to the movie, so you don't REALLY need to watch it and if you ask me the last episode of the 1st season flows nicely to the movie, so I vote for the 2nd option.

HIM

Yeah, honestly, all t hat matters is that you skip the recapped episodes AND watch the movie. The movie is goated, and episode 1 is more or less a "Here's more!" type if fillers, but does add a teeny bit to the character that is Rengoku.

PKS
>>110910606

they have already got 72 % vote on first, so I guess you won't watch their reaction when they release the 2x1 episode, right ?

Tiny Phreak
>>110910606

C'mon now. Just because Markub had a preference doesn't mean he won't enjoy whatever they end up going with.

Jaé-De Milton

Episode 2x1 then, Movie then 2x2 and all other episodes

FallinSon76
>>110920077

Best of both worlds except I don’t think it would be fun for them to watch the same thing but different formats

Kelly Ravelini

After the movie I'd watch the opening/endings which were made for the train arc

PKS
>>110920077

I thought there is a difference between people earning money on YT/patreon vs people wasting money on YT/patreon

Nathan Lehenbauer

There's no option for Mugen Train, then 2x1, then 2x8 on. That's probably the best way.

Supplication of Perpetuity
>>111027985

Why would that be the best way? 2x1 is a prequel to Mugen Train chronologically anyway. It is the logical choice to watch that episode before the movie as it introduces you to Kyojuro and sets the stage for the movie.

Nathaniel Wanner

Regardless of how you watch it, i fully recommend you watch the Mugen train arc in one sitting. Breaking it up over several weeks cuts the flow and can diminish the experience for you.

Haorii

I think you should do the episodes, because the quality is equal to the movie but have some extra scenes. But as some said you should binge watch them in one session like a movie 😉

Peter Amet

Clearly there's a winner but I prefer letts react content for the episode discussions and i'd prefer episodes for that over a movie.

Peter Amet
>>110861959

True but you could watch 20 eps at once and post that to accelerate it! I prefer the episodic content you guys do discussing episodes. my take

BadMoon84

I think anything SHOULD be watched in release order. There is a reason for that in any show/movie.

BadMoon84
>>111061049

Facts! The Mugen Train movie should be watched in one sitting. Not split into episodes.
