😄😁 why thank you, I know how difficult technology problems can be. This makes the finale so much special because it was released on my birthday! I wish the both of you the best, you guys are so awesome 💞

Robin B

Well, work will wait, I just cannot wait any longer! Thanks a lot Kenny for the upload despite the issues you faced :)

Bysc00t

Firstly, thank you Kenny for posting and editing this as fast as you did! Secondly, I'm really happy that you guys finally reacted to the show! I would definitely love to see a live stream about this in the future (once all the episodes are on YouTube ofc). I do hope that after Gravity falls you guys could focus on posting 2 MHA videos per week, like Kenny suggested in another video, since MHA is really long and 1 video a week is too little in my opinion (especially if you have other longer animes you would like to react to.) Either way, I am excited to see you react to Gravity Falls!

fr0st

In all the boiling isles, only one pronunciation tripped up the newlywed Lettses: L'oreal hahaha

Tristan Haller

Did you catch the detail that Luz, Amity, Guz, Willow, and Hunter all got Flapjack tattoos in the time skip?

Kathleen Joyce

Fun little note on a technical level- Gravity Falls and The Owl House are in the same universe based upon some content that was published outside of the show! Nothing important or spoilerish just a quick little nod But I am very excited for Gravity Falls! It’s got a lot of similar aspects and it really raised me as a kid/young teen and since y’all love voice acting I am excited for y’all to see all the familiar voices. Sad to see The Owl House’s journey end especially since it had become my favorite show but I am so excited to relive Gravity Falls once more :)

fr0st

Man, I'm getting a little emotional. I joined up with you folks seeing your Korra reactions and then was heavily campaigning for She-ra and then The Owl House to complete that trifecta of young female magic user girls who have girlfriends and it's been fantastic to see your reactions to them all! Thank you for being amazing and looking forward to following your journeys on tons more fantastic series! Thank you for letting us follow along on your journey with these shows and also your relationship from Montana's first few animated and anime series as your girlfriend reacting to y'all now being newlyweds and having so many series under your belts together!

fr0st

There are so many cool little things to note in that last credit sequence too. The gang getting Flapjack tattoos (each one is a little different), Huntlow's dynamic where Willow immediately picks up Hunter to keep him safe once they are sliding, Hunter no longer having those dark circles under his eyes and going from hunting Palismen to carving them, Darius blushing a bit when he almost hugs Alador, Eda's new claw hand (Claw Thorne, heh), the photo of Eda and Camilla having apple blood together, and so much more! Also, in the spirit of the Owl House episode titles spelling out messages, since season 3 only has three episodes, the first words instead of letters of the three episodes say "Thanks For Watching", which I love!

fr0st

And yes, Lilith is AroAce so no romantic or sexual partners for her, just her family, her bestie Hootsifer and her former star pupil and new protege, Amity. Good catch on that one! Also, unintentional correct naming, Kenny! Luz's magical form is indeed called TitanLuz!

awildjord

man i didnt cry when i watched the finale for the first time but now months later it makes me sob like crazy.. especially flapjacks grave and the bye at the end

Callum Ringsy

"We’re human," said the eldritch monster to the vassal of a God, "We’re better than them!" I can't believe it's finally the end of the series! I'm so happy I got to be along for this ride with you guys, every week these videos have been something I've looked forward to. I can't wait to watch what you both do next :')

Lucas Barros

That entire scene is so poetic from beginning to end. The manipulation not working, Luz's death stare and indifference, Belos's "We're human" while he melts, the rain basically washing the stain of hatred away. It felt so healing.

Big K

I’ve always wondered how the molten, rotting monstrosity, who murdered little animals and inhaled their souls to stay alive long enough to complete his goal, and then took control of an island like a parasite and tried to wake up the island to destroy everyone on it, has the nerve to call a person with elf ears “a monster”

We will do mha 2 times a week before gravity falls ends! Adding a 5th episode per week 👍🏻

fr0st

Two sad things (only one serious) - amity never got to see her girlfriend in titanLuz form. She really missed out! - King is growing so slowly and all the witches are ageing at about the same rate as humans so he'll have a very long life and will probably have to say goodbye to his family and friends, which always makes me a bit sad to think about.

Æther Paradox

I would like it to be known that I sat through that last 6 minutes expecting something funny 😭😭😭

Æther Paradox

Separately I had never seen this show. It was always on my radar, but I never pulled the trigger. I was bummed that I couldn’t ask y’all questions, but I ADORED the experience of going through it for the first time with yins.

Zo Hunter

Hunter's new Pailsman is named Waffle. So cute. Flapjack and Waffle. So many callbacks in the finale. When King's dad says "I am both King and Queen, best of both things", he was referring to when King said it at the end of Grom when he put on Luz's Grom queen crown. "I loaf you" was of course a bread pun. King and Luz where making bread puns all episode in "Really Small Problem". "Now eat this, SUCKA", of course it's said in both season 1 and 2 opening episodes, but the name she uses for herself changes, to show her self growth and confidence within herself. When Luz, Eda, and King are above the Titan and Luz goes "You know where magic comes from" and they all say "From the Heart" was of course a callback from "The Intruder" episode when Eda first starts teaching Luz magic, and Eda asks Luz where she thinks magic comes from. And Luz saying "From the heart" I'm her little nerdy enthusiasm, and it actually being right

Zo Hunter

Also 1: Look up the " Hooty Hole Theory" 2: Dana did a Livestream after the finale aired to answer some questions, reveal a lot of the main characters sexualities, confirm or deny theories, and sprinkle in some lore she wants to explore further. The whole thing is still YouTube

Suplee215

Is gravity falls confirmed as the next show? Not sure if it is or the lines a out it here are just in case still

Ferret
>>113185078

I believe they've said Gravity Falls is next and they're also looking at doing The Legend of Vox Machina.

Ferret

wrt Gravity Falls and the Owl House existing in the same universe, they kinda do, at least the same multiverse. There's nothing officially canon, but there's several cameos between TOH, Amphibia and Gravity Falls that suggest they all share a world.

Suplee215
>>113187333

They're more Easter eggs than cameos in my opinion. More small nods for fans and eadh other as Dana worked on gravity falls than evidence that they're all share one universe

Suplee215
>>113185078

The question thread for legend of vox machina says there's a very small chance they might do vox machina instead. Just seeing if a decision is officially made or not

Kaylie Jones

you accidentally put the episode 2 banner in the beginning (Just in case you wanted to change that) Thank you for working so hard to get the episode up <3

jolly

please consider steven universe after gravity falls!! such an incredible show, you probably should watch 2 episodes each sitting since they are shorter

Carl Shotwell

I thought you two would appreciate knowing that Dana confirmed that hunter and willow are bi and pan respectively and in a relationship. Also you might have missed the flapjack tattoos the group got and that eda and rain are each wearing one of the other’s earrings! Thanks so much for reacting to this series!

Suplee215

I think the vest part about this show ending is that it doesn't even feel like things are left out. We never found out abou5 who made the first door, about the owl beast and its connection to the collector or who the bat queen was the palisman for. Amd yet it doesn't feel like there's no closure despite that and far as I know Dana didn't hint at anything for these like she did with hunter (simply saying he us relates to the clawthorns but not saying exactly how) or that flapjack was Edaline's palisman and Belos said her name because the palisman reminded him of her and what he blames her for

Jade

Thank you so much for your reactions, what a ride this show is!!! Can't wait for Gravity Falls!!!

Big K

Oh you like when near immortal men/monsters die? You’d love Gravity falls and Amphibia

Geneva

The way I screamed out loud when you said and this is my WIFE Montana

Blacklung

Darius and Alador hinting at a new ship there with Darius blushing at him

Leighton Williams

I'm really going to miss you guys' reactions to this series, but I'm so glad you enjoyed this finale as much as I did!!! Thanks for the amazing memories ❤ AND CONGRATS AGAIN ON YOUR MARRIAGE!!!!!

Callum Brunt

Partway though the episode. Just wanna say, when they're like high above the titan, if you look in the background, you'll see a bunch of land, despite us being told the titan is the largest landmass on the planet. This is because, with the titan getting up, all the water it displaced when it died is getting moved about, lowering the sea level and revealing more land. Which i think is such a cool detail

Jinchuriki87

So Im only just starting y'all's reactions to this show (literally on like episode 10) and saw the "bad girl coven" shirt eda showed Luz, and if y'all didn't already know by now, they DO make the shirt! Saw some on Amazon!

ZamZom

This was the series I started watching you both for and have loved all your deep dives, especially with all the different psychological views you guys bring to the table! This has been the first time I've payed for content like this because of that and have been waiting each week with tons of anticipation to see your reaction. Can't wait to watch future series, believe you're going to have a blast with gravity falls and congrats on the wedding!! <3<3

Anne M

thank you for this reaction journey! owl house brought me to your channel, and your ongoing projects keep me here. you both bring insights to the table that, tbh, add a lot to my appreciation of the shows that you review. (speaking of, i'm unsure if ya'll do or would consider films, but nimona is a hot bit of discussion rn.) finally- מזל טוב‎; i can't wait for the 'wife reacts' videos. ;D

fr0st

Ooh ooh, another thing! Eda is always trying to do the staff twirl thing to look cool but she always drop it UNTIL she's the headmaster and executes one flawlessly. Yeah! Just do your best, Eda! (love that we have two characters with names pronounced Eda in two different shows)

Maria

Very sad to see the reactions end for this show. I loved this show so much and I love that you guys did also! Congrats on your marriage and can't wait to see what you do next!

fr0st

Also unconfirmed as far as I know, but I'm pretty sure that student with the red hair and glasses being stopped at the doorway to the school is Dana Terrace, the creator of the show popping in for the final sequence

Kai Miller

it’s kinda funny how so many people insist that villains are always written in a way so the viewer understands their motivation and why they turned out the way they did, and that it’s “refreshing” to just have a bad guy be a bad guy and not be redeemed, because where exactly have you been? 😭 the norm has always been killing the villains, and only very recently have writers and storytellers tried to deviate from that norm by giving all of their characters nuance. there’s nothing wrong with liking or preferring an absolute bad guy over a redeemable one, but can we please stop acting like that’s a novel concept 😭

Kai Miller

so many people conflate explaining a villain’s character arc and how they devolved from a good or neutral character, and excusing their sins and transgressions with “uwu sad backstory” when neither of those things are all that common in storytelling. it’s always, more or less, been “bad guy is bad because he can, let’s kill him” and god forbid anybody try to question “why he’s bad and why he thinks he can” because suddenly, they’re trying to excuse his sins. like i’m all for belos being killed, he was a genuine bigoted pos, but there was room for a discussion on why he was that way, and the question luz posed of “if we all think we’re doing the right thing, who’s the actual bad guy?” was meant to prompt introspection. because belos wasn’t nasty solely just because he wanted to be, a massive contributor to his god complex was the environment he was nurtured in. i don’t know, sorry for the essay lmao, it’s just weird when consumers of stories like the owl house strive to avoid any critical thinking while consuming said stories, or claim that stories that challenge the viewer’s values and biases are “oversaturated” when that isn’t a common thing at all 😭

Kai Miller

in any case, i really enjoyed your owl house reactions and look forward to your reactions of future series ! :)

Michael Sciortino

such an amazing ending to an amazing series. i really hope yall will react to amphibia sometime, its got so many great similarities to owlhouse.

Peter Amet

Wait so Gravity Falls next week :o

SonjaSparkle

The epilogue was almost my favorite part of this episode (aside from the cinematic and musical explosion that was the final battle XD) And I am glad hat I was not the only one who finally broke down the moment I saw Flapjack's grave. This finale was everything we could have hoped for and Eda being Headmaster of the University of Wild Magic is the icing on the cake. If you want to know more about the "behind the scenes" and some really cool revelations that couldn't fit into the episodes, I would really, really recommend you watch the Post-Hoot interview with Dana Terrace, Sarah Nicole Robles, Avi Roque and several more voice actors from the show. It's on Youtube and it will probably blow your mind XD

Edox

I am just wondering if yall noticed the jewelry switching and tattoos in the epilogue.

Jinchuriki87

So I literally binged this whole series (via y'all's reactions) in like, a week and a half. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this show was! That being said, a random thing I noticed...Luz is talking to kings dad and he says "I'm both King and queen, best of both" so are titans potentially able to reproduce asexually? Meaning king may end up NOT being the last titan?

SweetCandle

You're gonna need a bigger weh.

SweetCandle
>>113463806

It was in direct response to Luz saying "You're King's dad?" which I think implies either asexual or homothallic. That might suggest that Titans are actually a form of yeast (which would also explain their penchant for bread puns).

Bryan

I’m sooo sad 😭 I was reacting along with y’all and I didn’t expect to like this series as much as I did

Showaddict

I died when Kenny asked if the was gonna be another step 😂

Kyler Johnston

Honestly you guys are amazing, your final reaction was amazing and it really felt like we were there reacting with you all. This series is how i found your channel and I can’t wait to continue watching along side you! Thank you

talha khan

Are you going to finish dragon prince please finish that one

DrawnJohn

Luz: “Doesn’t that make us as bad as Belos?” The Titan: girl are u drunk???
