Enjoy! The plan is to try to get 8 episodes ahead before October 1st, moving mha to 2 times a week starting then on Youtube, premiering on Fridays and Sundays! What this means is there will be some weeks before then with 2 episodes, but maybe not every week, with a full shift to 2 a week starting at the latest October 1st.

Long story short, we will be posting more My Hero!

When in mha will Kenny stop being caught up? Dont remember if it was said before:3

Not 100% sure, but I think midnight said "guard your loins" And for class 1B, I'm pretty sure they're also supposed to be ranked the same as 1A, it's just different classes in the top spot, and they're only less now because they haven't had the experience against villains that 1A has had.

'Gird you loins' is a phrase. Its an old expression that means tying up your robe/kilt/dress around your waist so you can run/fight easier.

One thing I noticed watching this time around is that when Bakugo decides to beat Monoma’s team after insulting him, he addresses Kirishima by his name, not a random nickname. It’s small, but knowing Bakugo it means a lot that he addresses him properly.

its a nice little detail of his respect for kirishima, he does the same thing iirc after a specific battle with another character too(no names cz spoilers)

I just realized... Hagakure, the invisible girl in Class 1-A... her clothes don't turn invisble with her... so she's sitting naked on top of her teammates in the Calvary Battle.

I knew about two other times this happened, but I missed this one. Nice catch!

THE episode I became a Tokoyami stan

I wondered why Sato and Koda were blushing, but then I also realized she was naked. I had never noticed that the first time I watched it.

Yeah, I've watched this show maybe 4-5 times in total (probably more) and never noticed until now.

A fantastic surprise to get a second one. Thank you, Kenny and looking forward to whenever you can get to regularly doing two a week because this gets super fun and the ends always leave you wanting one more

fr0st

I love that we are seeing more of the class and also 1B's quirks and seeing them used in cool ways in competition

Gestrid

Yeah, someone else pointed that out to me when I mentioned this somewhere else. It's still something that didn't really register until just now.

Tsu is my favorite character so I get It Montana

Ellie

I'm very excited to see Montana's reaction to Todoroki's full backstory and if it will change her opinion on how he uses his quirk

Kameron Y

Cavalry and Calvary are both words! But Montana is right; the horse one is cavalry. Calvary is a Christian thing.

It's not just that you're giving away your lead. That's not the most heroic way of standing on top. The greatest hero would stand above the rest, even if they're being targeted. I don't think any of them would ever want to just give away their spot at the top. That's why they're at the top.

Mekar

Honestly as much as Shoji has nothing related to sharks I knew she was talking about Shoji instantly when she said the shark guy so I think it fits.

Specifically, Calvary was the site of Jesus' crucifixion just outside of Jerusalem. It is a location.

Kameron Y

Displays depicting the crucifixion are sometimes called calvaries. Especially the three crosses. I’ve also seen various chapels/churches/etc called calvaries (esp when they’re located on hills). Anyway, unless you’re discussing Christianity, the word you want is probably “cavalry”.

Shawn Washington

My first watch I also saw the shark mask, I was confused why his quirk had nothing to do with water 😭😭

Yaka

Maybe I'm thinking too deeply into it but it seems like the wooden man would spray water on himself and absorb it like a regular plant rather than drinking it.

L.C.

Never heard anything at all about the racist cosplay stuff.... Wouldn't put it past people but majority of the MHA characters are cosplayed. Like literally probably every single character in the series has been cosplayed. Its one of the biggest cosplay shows

Ashley Garcia

I always assumed the guy with the wood quirk used it as armor like iron man, so like he can lift the mask up. But I have no idea tbh lol

Montana is so smart!! The way shes breaking characters down and theorizing is amazing

The Lorax

Interesting (and sad) fact about Shoji (Arms/Shark Mask guy), his face is horribly scared and messed up from surviving hate crimes in his youth. He's from a rural village where there is superstition/prejudice about mutant type quirks, and people attacked him out of fear. He wears a mask to hide the scars, and also because his face scared a little girl once and he didn't like scaring people.

Wisdom abrahamson

I love how nobody talks about how deku glitched the game and got 5 people on his team for the second round as you could argue that dark shadow counts as one

AuroraZero_

I know this is so long ago now (rewatching as I just subbed to the patreon lol) but 1) Montana I also got major shark vibes from him when I first watched this show, no idea why but you're not alone lol 2) I looove how often Montana just hits the nail on the head for shit that's not gonna come up for episodes sometimes not even until the next season! Like half the time it's like word for word correct haha insane XD even the like this is dumb and has 0 basis but here's my guess (especially in the AoT reactions lol) And 3) Kenny I have ALSO been pronouncing that wrong my entire life...rip. also love that yall mentioned Calgary bc while I do live there I live in the next city over haha (Edmonton)
