Kenny and Montana are like hitters stepping into the batters box and saying "Come on Code Geass give me your stuff." And like a Cy Young winner Code Geass throws them a Major League curve ball. They strike out in theories and walk back to the bench dazed and confused LOL.

For Naruto fans the blonde guy in the opening that Kenny asked who are you is voiced by the English voice actor for Kakashi.

Hahaha well this went exactly how I expected it to, quite the whiplash from last episode, plenty of big brain Kenny moments, thoroughly enjoying the start of Season two, 1 episode a week is brutal for a show like this, there's so much to see, also you guys missed a small moment, literally like 2 or 3 frames haha, when Lelouche gets his memories back and starts talking to the Baron, when he starts walking towards him you can see his eye start to flash as his geass begins to come back. So pair that with what C.C. said about his power being locked behind amnesia I believe it's safe to say to that for the entirety of this last year he hasn't been able to access his geass, regardless of whether he accidentally commanded someone or not during this time he would've been like a normal person, which side note, is interesting considering before all this his geass went out of control and became permanent, to think that it was able to be supressed at all after that is interesting

Connla Lyons

The sheer dumbfounded look on your faces, make this episode worth it alone.

i always love the constant confusion from people watching S2 for the first time. that was all of us too lmao

Darthwin Wright

The next few episodes will fill in some blanks and raise more questions.

Recable

Can you rewatch a part of this episode from 20:17 to 20:28 (your videos time stamps), the part where Kallen falls over and Lelouch and Rolo run off together, after episode 4. It's something small but I think it's a good scene that people won't think much of until after episode 4, but will most likely forget about it.

My favorite part of redoing the start of R2 like the start of the first season came down entirely to a change of television timeslot.

Ceeneon

Kenny bringing up the butt plug cheating scandals/theories had me rolling because I was literally thinking about them when Montana asked how one can cheat at chess

Kollie123

Keep in mind Cornelia didn’t remember what zero looked Like at the end of last season. There is always a gap in memory when lelouch uses his geass on someone

Raul Iggynashow

This show needs to STOP IT! It can't continue to create more new questions without answering the questions I already have. My OCD can't take it LOL.

Notice how the purple flames in the background make it seem like the title of the show "The Day A Demon Awakens" is being done in hell.

Æther Paradox

THREE YEARS!!! We waited three years. And were then literally gaslit into believing that we were misrembering all these characters. It was WILD.

Congrats on finishing season 1! Also the thumbnail should just be obi wan visible confusion intensifies ;). Anyways enjoy the rest of season 2!

ArcaneAnomaly

"It wasn't ME who was wrong, it was the world!" Imagine being at a point in your life where you get to declare that, and have two giant mecha burst out of nowhere to bow to you.

Atticus Omundson

Ah, so disappointing you were both looking away when his eye started to spin. That's my favorite shot of the episode.

The anal beads story is not true. There has never been any proven cheating with anal beads in chess. Hans niemann got accused of cheating by the top1 chess player and other super grandmasters but the anal beads allegations come from Reddit and of course that is what made into the headlines. Also he had already cheated before but it was online

Well this is about it for me. Glad you guys enjoyed this 'reset', but season 2 is a bit of a mess. The show got WAY to popular for its own scope and the studio started messing around and trying to extend things that didn't need extending, while forcing in unnecessary side characters with questionable foreign relations. Rumor has it the reason the last 5 episodes are legendary is because the writer 'threatened to put in his resignation' if he didn't get full creative control of the last 5 episodes. I wont know how you guys react because I dont think I can pledge 20$ for the next 4 months for you to watch a measily one episode a week. You should honestly lower your 'early watch' price, or pick this show up at a minimum of twice a week. I had hoped to be one of the first questions and the last questions. I had a huge banger question that ties up the entire meaning of the show based on events, but I can't guarantee i'll be here for it. See you in... March i guess... Scratch that. April for Youtube....

If you think you guys are confused.. imagine my confusion watching this on toonami back in the day.. but starting on R2... Not knowing there was a season 1 😭

Why do people keep saying 3 years? JP run had a gap of 1 year. So if you mean the dub you should probably specify.

First Grade Sorcerer - Day

Lol I remember going back and checking to make sure I was watching the right episode as regards to s2... it does get a bit messy in the middle I think but goddamn the last 5 episodes were INCREDIBLE as a sorta response to one of the comments, I feel like it was kinda rude lordt. Sure things get messy but?? I thought it was nice to have some stories on side characters since there are so many of the. Also 🙃 Kenny and Montana are watching several other shows and editing videos takes up a TON of time, especially for youtube, but they still put out 5 great vids every week! And it's not like they can just skip all the episodes until the last ones lol
