Enjoy! We watched one scene of 3x1, then decided to go to 3x2 because 3x1 is filler, and frankly I REALLY wanted to start season 3! Next ep coming Saturday, and next Thursday we get MUSCULAR!

So the plan is muscular fight, then the movie?

mal

damn i wanted yall to watch 3x1😭 oh well lmao

Scar

Anddd here comes the best opening of the series

Danny C

Kenny, I can already feel the gitty hype from you when the last scene hits during the Muscular episode. I’m already pre-gitty 😂

They haven’t said anything about watching the movies and if they are watching them probably won’t be until after season 3 at the least

Letts React
>>121804767

I’m just confused when in the order the movie comes haha, we may end up doing it out of order but they aren’t canon so as long as we watch something in the near future I feel like that works

Jinchuriki87
>>121804767

Everything I've seen says it's supposed to be between the finals and the summer camp (so between seasons 2 and 3) but obviously it's up to y'all when to watch, I was just going off the order of the questions posts. (And technically they ARE canon from what I've seen)

Kilonzo

The end of the filler episodes sometimes have crucial information to the story Kenny😂like a conversation between eraser and vlad about changing some things so the villans can’t find them! It’s okay i know its annoying to watch but there are some crucial things you may miss out on

Jinchuriki87
>>121804767

Episode 20 is the setup episode FOR the movie because of when they made it. Canon/timeline wise, it falls between seasons 2 and 3. Hence why I asked if you wanted to watch ep20 after the s2 finale and then the movie so it is in timeline order.

They are cannon. They just aren't brought up really. But (especially later in the manga) characters from the movies show here and there.

Letts React
>>121804767

My Plan: we will watch the movies as soon as its convenient, and try to post the first one before Season 3 ends!

Keyblade

I didn't mind the filler. It had some nice interactions between characters, for example Tenja and Deku. But yeah, the other stuff is a lot of recap.

Jinchuriki87
>>121804767

Yeah at this point if y'all already started s3, might as well just keep going and then watch it after episode 20. You and I both know there's NO stopping between now and kamino! 🤣

Gwendolyn Vrisala

Uverworld is the band for this opening and they've done MANY anime theme's and they're all awesome!

Kilonzo
>>121806669

They’re annoying cause I missed so many my first watch through 😂 some of these fillers are just dumb though so i get it

Roy Meulblok

The intro is so freaking gooooood!! I have this song in my playlist, the fact that its done by UVERworld, who have been putting their songs in many anime openings and have been a big part of my childhood, is just amazing.

thevoidbender

I forgot they changed Kota's relationship with Mandalay in the anime. In the manga I'm pretty sure she's his aunt not his parent's cousin which tbh makes more sense why she'd take him in if she was his aunt and not like a second cousin.

Curtis Murphy
>>121816107

It's weird to change something like that. From what I can see it makes no real difference

jolly
>>121806669

kenny i’ve noticed you’ve forgotten things that happen occasionally so you honestly should watch the filler episodes, they are kinda important for certain scenes

Big K

Wait, iida is Erwin?

mal

i’m just waiting for THE fight

Erwin Prado

We gotta get used to fanservice here haha

Brendan O'Connor

There’s a post credit scene in this episode, and a few others this season. 3x9, 3x12, 3x23, and 3x25 (if there are others this season feel free to add them)

Æther Paradox

boooooo. I love the pool episode. Builds the family bonds of class 1a

Bryan

WWWWW THANK U

>>121804767

There's a filler episode later in S3 that ties into the movie. It'd be best to wait to watch the movie until at least after that.

Gestrid
>>121838546

The subreddit doesn't list any more, and I don't remember any others off the top of my head. There are post-credits scenes in both episodes 1 and 2, but that's it.

>>121804841

Yeah that sucks, I wish they did filler and the relevant episode in the same video lowk since there are only 4 filler episodes in the whole show so far

Jinchuriki87

Is it just me...or is it REALLY odd that deku is so comfortable being almost completely naked (other than a towel) in front of two grown women? (Especially considering how nervous he usually gets just TALKING to ochaco)

Logan Clark
>>121884954

Maybe its because he's more focused on the kid he's just saved? Idk sounds weird now that you bring it up XD

AJ Hutchinson

Kenny: What are your thoughts on the intro Montana: Let me put it to you in horse terms

jolly

i definitely think you should go back and watch the “filler” episode. it has multiple good moments between characters.

Loki

I don’t think you should skip the “filler” episodes. Just because it’s not progressing the plot, doesn’t mean it’s a waste of time. I know there are at least a few people other than me who want to see your reactions to these episodes. Season 4 is my favorite season of this show and ep 4x1 is really enjoyable even though it’s another recap episode! Also tbh with the serious and dark crap that goes on in season 5 and 6, I just think you should enjoy the calm before the storm

Curtis Murphy

I understand if you want to skip the first episode of a season for reaction purposes but I do think there is some merit in watching them for the good character moments, even if it's just in your own time.

Mekar

In reference to the picture of Deku that Tomura has, it's a screenshot from when Deku won the obstacle race in the sports festival. That frame was shown in the episode when he won and it was shown that Tomura was watching the festival and frustrated by Deku's performance. This seems to be when Tomura really started to focus in on Deku as annoying.

Bking

I never understood the Pussycats theme. They specialize in Search/Rescue operations, wouldn't dogs or wolves make more sense? Minor complaint, but something that always bothered me.

Chances are he was so hyperfocused, and that fact was lost on him. That and Mandalay is a reasonable adult authority figure. Plus even Pixiebob was serious in that moment.

Jinchuriki87
>>121884954

I suppose that makes sense, at the same time deku has typically been pretty good about always being aware of his surroundings, so it just seems odd. And it's not like either one of the women aren't attractive (plus pixie was practically all over him after they got done with the forest fight haha)

HQB

I thought it was odd skipping through Mineta’s final exam but it wasn’t a big deal. You just can’t comprehend comedy that isn’t made specifically for you, most people can’t. I became a Patron and saw your lack of commentary and moved on to the next episode. But then just skipping an entire episode because Kenny doesn’t like it is wild. I don’t think it’s that crazy to expect you to react to every episode when people are becoming patrons specifically for that content. It’d be one thing if it was a banned episode or something but Kenny is just too anxious to give the show the time it deserves.

I think its probably just a reference to the band The Pussycats, Horikoshi included tons of references to things he likes in the series from Star Wars to Marvel to other anime etc

mastertater

i love the cat hero in blue VA

It's filler. Which means it's not Canon to the plot. It doesn't move the plot forward. The vast majority of reaction youtubers skip fillers. No one is here for fillers. He didn't skip an episode because he doesn't like it, he skipped it because it's not Canon and filler
