Robbie is awful but mind controlling wendy to be his gf and taking her a place at night to be alone while mind controlling.... Honestly made him go from awful to irredeemable for me

SkyUltra

So the sev’rel times guys were all voiced by lance bass.

cipher

Lance Bass voicing all 5 of them might be another NSYNC reference. :)

Juan

Remember reality is an illusion. The universe is a hologram BUY GOLD!

Toa of slime

I will say in the creator commentary the creator did say he wished he’d made it clearer that the hypnosis did not work at all and the episode was supposed to be mainly a reflection of dippers flaws. Not that Robbie is a good person by any means just dipper was also being a dick/looking for an excuse why a girl would possibly like someone else over him

This. It's also a joke about how the satanic panic was seeing devil messages in all the backmasked Beatles songs.

Juan Solo

Fun fact: Alex Hirsch's twin sister Ariel voiced the girl who threw the chair.

Kaitlyn Westling

Did you notice the numbers at the end of the credits, what do you think they mean?

Actually, he wasn't. It's not entirely clear, but Alex confirmed that the intention was that Robbie stole the song from a band that actually tried to brainwash people, but it didn't work.

jolly

love the i am kenough hoodie, got one myself

jolly

the creator confirmed the hypnosis didn’t work/wasn’t even real to begin with!!! dipper was desperate to find anything to prove why wendy didn’t want him and chose robbie.

Bryan

This the first time I’ve noticed those numbers at the end of the episode, they translated to Happy now, Ariel? Idk who Ariel is but maybe there will be more

They should have had that In the show because otherwise it looks akin to date drugging but made to be mind control for the demographic

My issue with this is how Wendy's face looked after hearing the song was like she was in a trance/mind controlled or something. You'll be hypnotized and then her blank look and instant change of mind

AllThingsNeo

Episodes 19 and 20 BETTER be a double episode 😭😭😭 please

Blacklung

you guys should react to the trailer for the live action avatar: the last Airbender show! The trailer came out a few days ago. Honestly i'm kinda assuming you've already watched it but if you haven't it would be super cool to see a short reaction vid of it. :)

Even so, brainwashing her was his *intention*, which is morally the same whether or not it works
