I actually had nightmares for weeks when I first saw this episode when as a kid

Bobby the bob

So funny how you landed on 'hmm, he could be a bean manufacturer' before realizing he was the shapeshifter

One thing I'd say, three years really ISN'T that much of an age gap. Obviously when you look at a teen vs pre teen or seems worse, but in their adult years, doesn't seem like it would be a significant factor.

Such a good episode! You guys’ constant disgust at the bugs on Mabel was my favorite 😂

It’s not a big age gap in retrospect but in younger years it is a big gap. A 12 year old and a 15 year old are at very different places mentally. One is considered a child and the other is considered a young adult (yeah I don’t like that title either) who can drive and get a job. The idea of them having a relationship has always been weird to me at least

Oh no that's what I mean. At this moment, their ages can be considered huge, just off the difference of mental place of mind. (And thus currently not practical to try) But hypothetically, were they to maintain a good lasting friendship over the years, it could become something more when they're both in similar mindsets. (If that makes any sense)

hey 1 could you please check your dms please?

I’m pretty sure “ my mommy’s a werewolf” is a play on “my babysitter’s a vampire” which is another supernatural show that was running at the same time.

Seth

Did you know Wendy is voiced by Linda cardellini and yes the old man was mark hamill

Max F.

"That six fingered nerd hasn't been himself in 30 years" and "This will be the last form you ever take!"... I'd remember these two lines for the episodes to come.

it's crazy when you realize that his last form was the one he took when he was turned into wood

Jaelyn Mcgee

If you haven't ever checked it out, I'd love to see your reaction to the movie The Thing. The shapeshifter takes a lot of inspiration from that film

Yeah! A 12 year old and a 15 year old is weird, but when Dipper’s 22 and Wendy’s 25, that’s fine
