Man it’s taking me back to when I used to crack Gravity Falls code in middle school with my friends, truly memorable

The Lorax

John Henry's primary legend is him racing and beating a new invention that was supposed to bore tunnels faster, and would have put him and his collogues out of work. He's suppose to represent the pinacol of human strength, endurance, and perseverance in the face of overwhelming odds. And working class folk standing up to the capitalist machine. He also MIGHT have been a real person? I always thought he was just an urban legend but apparently several sources claim he was real, and even where the race took place. But he didn't die in the race, he died of siliceous. He also didn't do the race alone, he had one other person helping him.

Hey Kenny and Montana, will you two be reacting to the Legend of Vox Machina once you finish Gravity falls? It is a show that I will continue to vouch for until it is either reacted to, or I draw my last breath, whichever comes first.

This episode is silly

I’m glad they did personally. Most/nearly all bully characters are two dimensional archetypes but I like how gravity falls breathed life into theirs by making her redeemable, good storytelling

I was kinda joking but yeah I agree. I appreciate where things go with her later on

It's not like nepo babies are nepo babies by choice. They haven't done anything wrong to get saddled with the kind of upbringing that they have. So showing them growing beyond that and becoming better people is always a positive imo

Merry Christmas hope you guys have an amazing day

Æther Paradox

John Henry was a real dude. Prolific Black man of the American 1800s. The animated movie obviously exaggerated his accomplishments, but the real story reminds me how cushy of a life I’m living.

This is probably my favorite episode so far. Just the perfect mix of absolute nonsense and laughs and sudden turns to deeply serious situations

Absolutely losing my shit that Kenny is married to a Dutch woman, went there and proposed in tulips and still did not put together the wooden clogs and windmill references = the Dutch haha

I feel like the miners should have won. They lost a man to this
