I love this movie

H-Bomb 24

Just so y'all know, Dave shares the same VA as Tengen Uzui from Demon Slayer. It's easier to hear the similarity in flashbacks. Meanwhile, Melissa has the same VA as one of Uzui's wives, Makio (the mean one).

Æther Paradox

Oh snap. Early release. I appreciate this.

H-Bomb 24

Hagakure using a sign to play rock paper scissors is one of the best visual gags I've ever seen. 🤣🤣

Maks Lesniewski

Any chances you might consider reacting to Naruto in the future?

Big K

3:40 BIRD MOTIF

Brandon Santos

Notice how Bakugo calls for Kirishima when he gets punched away. He lowkey cares 🥲

Æther Paradox

No spoilers, but we aren’t done with Melissa. I refuse to tell you how.

Æther Paradox

Last thing. Would y’all consider the Code Geass Movies? There are 5 of them I believe.

Big K

God every single fucking scene with Mineta makes me want to gouge my eyes out with a plastic spork

The Lorax

I love that Bakugo's plus one is Kirashima. Not that there's much competition in that regard lol. And that Kirashima bought them both suits.

IGoBySparky

what I love is that these movies are canon, whereas so many anime movies aren't canon

Christopher Johnson

This movie absolutely sealed my dislike for Uraraka. The way she had the girls treating Deku just for coexisting with Melissa was just gross.

chris

i really enjoyed all might in this movie

Tobias Jeager

I can't wait for you guys to get to the world heroes movie

Markub El Jaden

Love that you're watching the MHA movies, the 2nd movie is my favorite and the most well-written one imo, its also the one that reused the canceled original ending for the show that you mentioned at the end of this reaction, so I definitely can't wait for you to watch it.

Ferret
>>126900830

I don't think that was the case? Remember that at this point, the only person who openly knows about Ochako's crush is Aoyama. I read that scene as more, "Midoriya what the fuck are you doing on I Island of all places with a pretty girl none of us have ever heard you mention at all?"

F6MiSH x

would like to see yall react to the MHA OVAs pls

Erin Ryan

Kenny may recognise the gauntlet. They're the same one used in dekus most recent costume in season 6

Taka Uchiha

I would love for them to watch the Fate Series ( Aka Fate Zero, Fate Unlimited Blade Works, and Heaven's Feel mainly) and see how that series touches on the definition of hero & justice in comparison to MHA.

Erin Ryan

The dadmight in this movie is so good

WhateverIFeelLike

This isn’t filler at all Horikoshi himself said that the movie is 100% canon to the manga and that he wrote this movie because he wanted to explore All Mights past, but ran out of time to do it because of where the manga was story wise. He told everyone to go and watch it because it is canon and references it later in the manga as proof

Gestrid

There's a *slight* almost-cameo of Melissa later in the anime, actually.

Paulasmol1
>>126900830

How? She literally didn't instigate that or made them do it. They did it by their own accord. If you wanna blame anyone, blame the mangaka for trying to force that ship to happen so desperately.

Gestrid

Fun Fact: The credits song for the movie is a different/ extended version of S3 ED2.

Gestrid

Also, while this does take place between seasons 2 and 3, the main reason it's best to watch this movie after waiting to see the tie-in episode is because of the All for One cameo. I personally think it's best to see the movie after All for One's big entrance in the anime.

Logan Prime

waited all week for this drop. hype

Micheal Hernandez

For movie reaction recommendations you should react to Perfect Blue or any of the Ghibli movies you’re unfamiliar with! I’ll be happy with anything you guys put out

Deiondre0

As for why Uraraka didnt just float them up the building, this is set before their quirk training in early Season 3. It would be bad if shes already sick before they ran into enemies

Logan Prime

also did you guys watch the short ova episode that comes before the movie

WhateverIFeelLike

The difference between here and the camp is they aren’t putting the Pro Heroes pre established rescue plan at risk to satisfy their own egos. They’re trying to free the Pro Heroes so that the Pros can rescue everyone else. Unlike with Bakugo there isn’t anyone else trying to save the hostages

WhateverIFeelLike

You’ll notice at the end David isn’t in handcuffs because even though he felt responsible he’s at most an accessory as Sam was the one who came up with the idea, planned it, and hired the villains. David only agreed to go along with Sam’s plan because he believed the villains were actors. His testimony, combined with the fact he tried to stop the villains once he learned the truth, and his past contributions to most of i island’s technology, means he’ll likely be given probation and banned from ever setting foot on the island again. He likely won’t face any actual prison time, but his career and reputation will take a significant hit

Eugene Wanhalla

Hey guys it seems like you only watch dub but I really recommend "All Might Rising" which was released with this movie. I don't think it was ever dubbed but its only a few minutes long and is a must watch for All Might fans

Ruzoku

Lovin the reactions! Also Fun Fact: David Shield's Quirk is "Squirmy Fingers", which allows Dave to bend and squeeze his fingers with precise control, helpful in developing his gizmos and hero costumes. Though this was only mentioned in the My Hero "Team-Up Missions" spin-off manga and never mentioned again anywhere else.

Digital Alikin

All of the movies are canon weirdly enough

Mars

yessssss

Josh
>>126928928

S6 Spoilers: . . . But we're NEVER GONNA SEE THE GAUNTLETS AGAIN (not at full strength anyways)

Jinchuriki87
>>126910650

Yeah I mentioned at one point Kenny should keep an eye out for a certain piece of gear that he SHOULD recognize haha

Jinchuriki87
>>126911048

Yeah, I was one who kept pushing watching it timeline-wise, but it actually makes better sense to watch it when they did bc of AfO. (I wish they had animated him like the earlier shots with him mostly shrouded in shadow)

Jinchuriki87

And I know others have clarified already, but just to reiterate. This IS canon, as I believe ALL the movies so far are. (Feel free to correct me)

Jinchuriki87

YES!!! All for some movie reactions! I've already been hoping for/suggesting one for the how to train your dragon series (if one/both of you haven't seen them already) I know there's a FMA:B movie (technically there's two, but one is based from the original series and the other is based on brotherhood I believe)

Eric C

ohhh shit, Your Name reaction in the pipeline? let's gooo i'm gonna cry again

Fenixnade

"Damn Brat, I'll Sue!" just realized the voice of the main villain is the same as the guy in Persona 5

mastertater

Can't wait untill the 2nd movie I think it's better and by the way if someone hasn't side anything mineta is a female VA

Cyan_SkyTortoise

I wouldnt complain about a "Your Name" reaction. Though I will say Im more of "A Silent Voice" kind of guy. The caveat with that one is that it does require some subtitles even if youre watching the dub. It'll definitely hit you pretty hard though. Also basically any reaction by a studio Ghibli film would be awesome, anyone would tell ya that lol.

Mekar
>>126979724

True. The English VA for Mineta is Brina Palencia. She also voices Nina Tucker in FMA and FMAB, Chopper in One Piece, Chiaotzu in Dragon Ball, and Touka in Tokyo Ghoul.

Mekar

Has Kenny added a "woah counter" for himself yet?

H-Bomb 24
>>126900830

Uh, what? Ururaka wasn't hostile to Melissa or possessive towards Midoriya IN ANY WAY. She was respectful, just visibly uncomfortable.

Cedric Worthy

Now to wait another season for the best movie 🤞🏾

Saiko

“Never to be seen again”…

joshua

Like the movie, final fight is great, but I will say this one felt really contrived, should have left half the class out rather than come up coincidences to put the whole class there.

Scar
>>126913786

They didn’t because that’s not technically apart of the series and was never dubbed

Scar

Would love to see movie reactions and they don’t have to be cartoon or anime either!

Logan Prime
>>126913786

I know. It's bummer cause it's a nice little short all might ova I figured that would like it

Andrew Miano
>>126886575

He's done a few things they've watched. Not only is he sukuna in jjk he's also choso in it, he also plays Eren Kruger in AOT

Garry00

This was actually the first of MHA that I saw and it convinced me to start the show. Glad it still holds up.

mal

i hope yall watch all of the movies

Renn.88

I know I'm late but all 3 movies are 100% Canon to the series. The author of the manga went out of his way to make small cameos of the movie characters and sorta reference their plot points in the Manga. Whether the anime ever animates those tiny cameos, idk, but they are cameod in the manga. You don't have to disregard anything from them. They're all Canon to the series

House Of G

I loved the point where momo was worried about Todoroki in the plant base and he reassured her❤️
