William Morales

The Latin translates to "Abandon all hope, ye who enter."

Davante Adkins

Yesssss, we almost to the iconic ending. But hey Kenny, do you guys have any plan to watch the alternative ending movie? There’s 4 but the first 3 just cover the show while 4 handles the alternative ending, it would be dope 🙏🙏

Raul Iggynashow

Lulu's older brother Odysseus meant when Nunnaly went missing for years after Marianne's death but was located alive and made Vice Roy of Area 11 at the start of Season 2 prior to Nina's Nuke going off.

Ceeneon

When the first prince Odysseus mentions finding Nunally, he's referring to when V.V. captured her after S1 and she became the viceroy. I think you're pretty spot on with why Lelouch's Geass evolved there. His world continues to come crashing down, as he learns the mother he loved so much was complicit in the suffering he and his sister experienced. But he doesn't oppose his parents purely out of spite or pettiness. As you said, he's now looking to tomorrow, so that the people he's loved and lost the lives he's taken and sacrificed, can be for a truly gentle world - one based on mutual understanding, instead of one where everyone is forced to be open to one another. His own personal growth, and his desire to uplift others is truly a characteristic of a King. And thus, the power of the King is truly granted to him.

Raven Kesterson

Nunally was found alive when she became vice roy after years in hiding… they were talking about when she was found and taken by charles

Raul Iggynashow

If V2 wanted Charles and Marianne to break up so he could have Charles to himself instead of killing her V2 should have encouraged horny Charles to get more women pregnant and have even more kids LOL.

Kollie123

Literally every reactor forgets nunally was found and spent a year back in the homeland between season 1 and 2. I kinda get it, it’s just vague enough of a line to throw people off lol, imagine if he said “when nunnally was found last year”

Æther Paradox

Luluche does NOT command "God" to do anything. All his geass does is get him a metaphorical seat at the table. In the sword of akasha is like being in the castle and his geass gives authority to enter the throne room. From there he REQUESTS (not commands) that God does something. Luluche gave up his place of authority and allowed the collective consciences of humanity to decide for themselves what THEY want. He used his control geass to give control back to humanity. It's a 180 to his normal shenanigans

Æther Paradox

No they "found" Nunally after the emperors massive world geass. And made her viceroy. He is saying that they didn't know Luluche was still kicking too.

Brendan O'Connor

Watching this show from early on I was convinced that if Lelouch and Suzaku were working together there would be no stopping them…but I wasn’t expecting *this*

Robin B

Every week, we're approaching THAT ending! I don't know if I'm supposed to be happy or sad haha! Anyway... ALL HAIL LELOUCH

Atticus Omundson

Reminder that this whole series was kickstarted by V.V. being a brocon

Phendan

The title of the one book you were trying to decipher is German (and it's cut off) "Kollektives Unbewusstsein" would be "Collective Unconscious"

Jocelyn Thompson

OMG Kenny!! Pendragon is one of my favorite book series too! Criminally underrated

Fukkyu Bisch

so, I used google translate, and apparently the language is Italian, not latin... but it seems, according to google translate so take this with some salt, to translate to 'Leave all hope, you who enter' so I think it's basically a warning of sorts? like I said, it's google translate, so it might be off in some way or another.

Eric C

let's goo another point in the story i've been looking forward to immensely when you guys started this show. i LOVE the way lelouch defeats charles here

Eric C

kenny really said "skill issue" to charles, i can't hahah

GreatRiverofKings

They mean Nanali was found alive before the Flaya

R. Lewis

The quote could either be italian or latin, but roughly it would translate to "abandon all hope you who enter" which were the words written over the Gates of Hell in Dante's Inferno. Also, if I had to guess about Lelouch's Geass, we've seen with Mao that the final stage of Geass seems to be both eyes permanently active, and with Lelouch himself that the more you use it, the stronger it gets, so perhaps using his Geass on something as powerful and massive as God/the Collective Unconscious of humanity just pushed him to the final stage? That's just my own theory though.

AonixGhostlyQ

When he said "nanaly found he meant early on when they made her viceroy long before the flaya

SouthCoast

The Nunnally was found line from Odysseus was referring to when they found her in the beginning of this season in episode 2-3.

Izrail Gevorgyan

These last 4 episodes, are UNBELIEVABLE. Cannot wait for y'alls reactions

Dartz0023

By Britannia's law the one who kills the Emperor and has a claim to the throne becomes the next Emperor, the rule of strength, Charles also said that his whole life was filled assassinations for the throne.

Dartz0023

Lelouch VA did an amazing job I actually teared up from his speech about Nunnally's smile.

Jarrod Clemens

Rumor has it that the studio started getting a bit out of hand with plans for the next season if not the season after that. Rumor says that the original writer took his resignation to the directors desk and said 'I get the last 5 episodes or i'm leaving'. Thus we got 20-25. best episodes of anime for years before and to come....

Asya Noelle

i’ve been binging these reactions having never watched code geass myself 😭 i never thought i would get caught up before you guys finished so now i’m on the edge of my seat waiting for the next one. like seriously how are there 4 episodes left that was INSANE

John

Monserrat Hauck

Fukkyu Bisch

it is also apparently what google translate says the grouping of words that kenny and montanna were confused by... have a look yourself if you wish. :P

Peter Amet
>>133206233

They would have to watch the 4 Akito movies and then the 4th Geass movie *but the 3 movies adapting Season 1 and 2 changed a lot right? so they'd possibly be confused* and then the new series is after that. So minimum is 5 films, possibly 8 cause like Shirley's death is changed and all? I avoided the films for these reasons. But new series does look very cool! for sure. I'd be hype for them to try and get into it and Akito and the new timeline lmao.

Gope

“Nunnallys smile… was her way of expressing gratitude! I won’t let you call that a lie!”
