Hiya folks! Back again to share what's been cooking in the Haunted Brothel!

Art preview

I'm still at work on the main quest of the "final area" released in the previous update, which includes artwork for the predicament that Varahn finds himself in above! (Hopefully without the tough .gif compression). The next step will be to implement the art into the game, and lay out the elements of the scene that will lead up to this event. (Maybe this will explain Varahn's whereabouts during Jasper's party exploration!).

I'm excited to get this scene in your hands. I'm sorry that this isn't a playable content update! To that end:

Personal update

Hi again! I wanted to touch base on a personal note to let you all know how I'm doing! As of late, my day-job has had me occupied full-time, so I haven't been able to work as much as I'd like on the Haunted Brothel. You might have noticed the uptick in paused billing cycles, and art/dev updates where previously I had been able to put out game updates.

I am determined to finish the Haunted Brothel, so I won't be stopping development! I just wanted to reach out and let you all know why the pace of development has slowed the way it has. Working full-time has left me with much less to work with than part-time did, so I've felt the need to break content updates down across multiple months to get things done. I'm also worried that my attempts to rush the development has led to some hastily-put-together work. In light of this, I wanted version 0.35 to feature some really quality art and animation! Which is why I've opted to make this an art update focused on detail, rather than a bugfix and version update that spreads the work too thin.

As always, I really appreciate everyone's support, and patience. If all goes to plan I'd like to be able to release the version 0.35 update for you all with the next month's release. I hope you all are doing well, and I wish you a wonderful month for the rest of June.
