So it's October, which means it's time for the really important challenges! =D

Choose your hero! ;-)

Is it really locktober if you have characters wearing cages year round?

ben4321

they STILL wear Cages in October, right?XD

ginger

You can always put another cage over the existing one! :D

ben4321

or use a SMALLER or even an INVERTED one!>:D

Xan

I have just awoken from 12h of sleep so guess we know what mine is xD

ginger

Lucky you! It's been a while since I last time was able to sleep for 12 hours a day! But sleeptober requesting you to sleep more than 6 hours EVERY day! ;-)

Xan

Yeah rough day yesterday. As can probably imagine, that’s not exactly a standard night. Won’t go to into detail and ended up not being all that serious but Dad ended up in the hospital. Might sound odd but in my mind he was immortal. That was the first time I realised that one day I could just lose him like that. So despite it ended up not to be serious, still scared the shit out of me. Trying my best but it’s really difficult with work and my sleep schedule straight from hell rn. So far this month just barely making that, but that’s what my watch is telling me. Most bad nights I wasnt wearing it so realistically more at like 4-5 average rn 😅

ginger

That's right, there's always a way to make things worse =D At the very least, you can always add spikes... ;-)

ginger

I think I know what you mean. I thought I couldn't just lose my dad either. At least as long as my grandmother was alive, that's how the world seemed to work. But one morning a little over a year ago, he just didn't wake up. I'm glad your dad is okay, and I hope he stays that way! Sleep is a very important and healthy thing, I hope you manage to get a full 8 hours of sleep every night! I have to admit, lately it's getting harder every new year...😅

Xan

Sorry to hear you lost yours, if it did happen I’d find a way I’m sure. Just would change everything, been struggling a little myself since corona started and in what should be the last month of my Batchelor. Dad’s side of the family is very small too, just him and his sister (my aunt) left. And she needs help fairly regularly because of a mental disability. (She is very nice but does make it hard to have much conversation with her) My mom’s side of the family is fairly large, I don’t really click with any of them though. They are quite different people and just have very different “values”. They are currently fighting over my grand parents inheritance to give you some idea 🙄 My grandparents from mom’s side are not even gone btw, they are both alive and well. (They obviously don’t do this around them, but I’d be surprised if they didn’t notice. Rest of family is trying to get them to not spend anything and worry about how much they will leave them with. My Mom and I hope they spent every penny by the time they pass. It’s their money and if something is left we will worry about that when the time comes) Sorry for the long reply 😅 bit of a crazy last day/week/month/year honestly

Xan

Forgot to reply on the sleep. Yeah I know 😅 used to get like 7-8h most nights but since been on this project it’s been dropping like crazy. Honestly quite interesting to see in the chart. You could practically put a pin in the chart where I should have gone on holiday but couldn’t. Then worked on even longer. Eventually had a short holiday and it was much better already but didn’t really last long. After this project I’m taking at least a month off :p to be fair I only took 1 week off since February so far so I got some catching up to do.

ginger

I remember my University days - in those days 8 hours of sleep seemed something fantastic and unattainable for me... Good luck with your project!
