Dome Motor (Patreon)

I've bought this motor for the Dome (from Maplins in the UK). I can make other mounts for other motors, just need the dimensions. The first bracket will be based on this motor though.

Mike.. could not find the motor bracket.. is it out there already ?..

No, I've only designed the gear ring and drive gear. The bracket is next.

Did you realize that the drive gear have a little problem? When I try to place the upper surface (the one with the teeth) on the printing table (ctrl+L) it does not actually touch the "ground". So I compensate changing the z offset value to this particular model...

Oh yes, I have modified the design but not uploaded the stl yet. There's a sliver sticking out on the gear.

those are the common for the styrene ways...

Hi there. Should fit but you'll need a different mount. Can you send across the dimensions and I'll post one this weekend (need the diameter of the motor, overall length, gearbox length and diameter of the shaft).

ok, thanks.. 36.9 mm diameter, 83 mm total lenght(27 of them are gearbox ), 6 mm diameter shaft..tell me how much money I must send you...I am on vacatoin a couple of weeks, so not in a hurrry..

Ok, all done. Check in the Patreon share domedrive, motormount, there's a motorbracketPt2 Opt2 that should work. Actually virtually exactly same dimensions as the one I'm using without the mount plate :-)

Hi! sorry for the late response.. I printed several days ago, but I have tried right now,... Something is wrong.. the hole is too big.. I have charged the STL on netfabb and measured it.. Its 40.9 mm .. have I missed something ??
