R9 dome files ready in the wip folder (Patreon)

Just completed the first set of files for the R9 dome if you fancy something different! I’ve printed the dome and rings, nice print and build. Panels and greebles also uploaded but not fully printed those yet.

Great job mate. Looking forward to printing this one out . Any chance of doing an R7 dome and the R7 body panels to swap into the R2 body panels.?

I’ve done the R7 Radar eye, but will do the dome also. Have been looking at modules for the body to swap for the other astromechs, so yes will do eventually. :-)

I started printing the parts... could you give me some advice on the orientation of the main-dome parts? Did you use supports? I wanted to go with .3mm layer and .9mm walls with 15-20% infill.

Hi, same settings as I did. Orientation wise I printed on the flat plate with holes in it as the base, so like an orange segment on its side.

Thanks, thats what I was thinking of. Without supports works?
