Please acquaint yourself with the Anomaly-related mods we have planned. Due to the nature of the DLC (mystery-horror), we will not be sharing more details about these mods than what is seen on the above infographics.

The order in which these mods will be developed will depend on the results of a public poll. Furthermore, a separate poll will be run on Patreon, and as a reward for Patrons, the votes from both polls will be summed together - this means that Patrons essentially get 2 votes.

Isn't the mime already a thing in a different mod?

nikolai

I really love the idea of having a mod that might just be one or two creatures that are very flushed out. I hope we keep the pseudoscience theme from the DLC. they’re not zombies they by Nanes. it gives everything a consistency in universe that I quite liked about the DLC.

Dick Turnip

Weeping Angels. You magnificent bastard. The Darkstorm seems like an interesting one to have to deal with, especially if it's related in any way to the Forsaken beasts in Alpha Animals (don't know how much overlap there really is between VE and Sarg's Alpha series, although judging by the Bearofleet, there must be SOME).

Fabien Smeets

That honestly very impressive I can't even decide which one I would rather see first. And the old horror comic book style is on point

Loyola

Comblies and Bearofleet sound great!

Kaer

I don't know if the weep.. faceless were put last on purpose, but the possibilities... so much potential.

Robert Frost

Looking good and I enjoy the SCP style descriptions, are the mods that are about existing anomalies (shambles, golden cube) looking to expand on what they already do, or completely rework them?

Owain I Jones

All my votes are going to Bearofleet, look at that magnificent rotund lad

Łukasz Dudziak

Love this art style! Love those ideas! Thank you in advance! :D

Toilailee

Would it be possible to 'expand' the entities/anomalies/events in a way that they weren't the same each playtrough? E.g. one game you might have the default shamblers and the next game you might have much faster and aggressive shamblers, but they avoid the light? My first anomaly playtrough has yet to meet even the intermediate (tier 2? advanced? whatever the name was) anomalies (well ok I did meet the 'teleport' obelisk, but .. well lets just say that it was an alternate timeline that didnt happen.. :) ) so it might be that this is the way it works by default, but didn't get that impression yet..

Sandro

How much those mods will affect the development of other VE Mods, meaning, will we see more Anomaly mods while others (Factions, Xenotypes and all the other goodies) will be developed less?

John Doe

Hellgate and observer look awesome

Félix Dubois

The SCP playthrough about to be fire

Diana Grubb

I love the old movie poster look of the art. These all look amazing and can not wait for totally not gremlins to over run everything.

DMChase

This really makes me really want to find a "The Slayer" mod. Lol. they look fantastic BTW.

Sondre

I really like the art style of the thumbnails. The infograph-style looks cool as well, so it looks like we're in for some really awesome looking mod-pages.

Chaosbroker

I figured it was only a matter of time until someone tried to do "The Sculpture".

Corniflex

Who drew the art for the thumbnails? :o If that's you Oskar woah, I already liked your usual Rimworld style, but this one is also really amazing! (And even if it's not you, kudos to the one who drew this!)

Lord Maboy

I really like that there is a SCP 173 / Wheeping Angel type entity planned. But I would also like to see a unique Rimworld twist with SCP-939 "With Many Voices", SCP-106 "The Old Man" (including a femur breaker), SCP-049 "Plague Doctor" and SCP- SCP-035 "The Possesive Mask".

Big Barza

Welp. Now i need something to use prisoners as...uhh..."D-Class Personnel"

ZamazaCallista

The one time I'm not gonna read the info cards, so I can be really scared later!

narouge

So im asumeing, someone haveing a field day, being alowed to do the ubsard amount horror ideas that got side lined before. :p Like the mime geting "remastered".

Sacha Nadeau

Big fan of the bearofleet, traveler and Saturn personally. The weeping angel one is also cool but I’m curious how that mechanic would work in rimworld considering pawns don’t really have sight lines or the ability to look in an direction different from where they are moving

Choppytehbear

Mad props to whoever made the art for this post.

PaperClipChip

Perfect. You've really out done yourselves here.

KaneLives

I was joking when I asked for VE: Cube... Now I know the Cube is inevitable.
