As we're coming closer to the release, I've got another bunch of hairstyles for you all to see.

Mostly spawning on Outlanders, these hairstyles are a bit more kept, clean and civilised. A lot of them spawn on other factions as well, with a significant number of them also spawning on starting colonists (the star icon).

Now, how do I choose which ones should appear on the starting colonists? The issue is, they can't be too detailed or recognizable as you will see them every time you start a new colony. Currently, the game only has a handful of hairstyles allowed on your crashlanded pawns - each hairstyle looks bland and doesn't have any distinct features. That's why you can see hairstyles like Buzzcut and High Top have the "star" that allows them to spawn on colonists, but Slicked doesn't as it looks a bit too distinct.

Even sneaked in my own hairstyle :)

The following styles have been provided by MonteCristo, a contributor and a fellow patron.

Stay tuned as next we will be showing some more Outlander hairstyles and eventually, beards!

I am looking forward to seeing how you will do beards. So far I haven’t found a mod that adds them in a way that feels vanilla.

Uh also, I dont assume you might want to add a few The Expanse styled hairstyles too? 😅

Every day you post a couple of them and i didnt realize that u already made 50+ hairstyles. Im going to repeat myself again - #1 Hairmod is coming . Cant belive how good it looks in comparison to already existing mods.

Are you also going to include mustaches and beards?

Oskar Potocki

That's the plan. Not yet sure how I want them done. Most probably just as a part of a new set of hairstyles (will disappear when wearing a hat, but having Show hair with hats mod will prevent that). Other way I can think of would be to have a separate hair layer for beards, but then incompatibilities with Edb Prepare Carefully, Show hair with hats etc. I think I will go with the former approach.

Can't wait to see what you're coming up with :)
