 Hello and welcome everyone!

As some of you may know, I have recently ended up in a hospital due to severe food poisoning. Just like in RimWorld, I was walking very slowly, couldn't aim at all, and was puking every 15-30 seconds. With enough medical care I was able to leave the hospital yesterday and we're back in action.

Today in the Typical Suggestions Thread we will focus on Christmas time and a new Christmas mod I am working on.

What sort of features would you expect from a festive mod like that? Would you like to see randomised presents falling from the sky? Or maybe an evil raider Santa?

This TTS thread will be used from 03/12/2019 to 09/12/2019.

I'd love me some Eggnog, have it give a slight bonus to mood and made from Eggs and Milk. It's one of the most Christmas-y things we can think of

I don't known if it's possible, but maybe a special Christmas party that if pawns attend they receive a "feeling festive" mood boost bonus.

Maybe make Christmas a party like event that happens each year? I second Loggers eggnog! Maybe a build indoor fireplace that gives a mood buff if you are close to it? Cookies?

Grieflord3000

I'd like to second the fireplace. Maybe as a recreational building like a tv that gives an extra mood buff instead of skill. I think watching fire is more relaxing an interesting then watching todays tv shows. How bad will it be in 500 years :D

Decorations, like Christmas lights you can hang on the walls.

Pawns could randomly gift another pawn a present out of thin air for small mood/relation increases between each other, or negatives in the event of a bad gift. I don't think it should require anything in the inventory, or any real value. I like the idea of a broken sled with rockets attached to it falling from the sky with presents, alternatively. I definitely second the fireplace as well.
