Hey guys, Hello ladies! A quick survey, if you will! You can leave a comment explaining your choice! :)

J

Haven’t been able to get it to work for me yet.

danethesheep

It's fun you can remake tiananmen square

Brodeg Hammerforge

I've been too busy working to play Rim world lately.

Node118

A few bugs but it's solid! Please keep up the Great work with these mods I love them!!!

Cody Abode

Its great, but I hope vehicle scavenging is reconsidered.

Michael Whitehead

I always give it a week or so after release. Not because of issues with your mod, but to give other mods time to patch compatibility things.

Brian Lang

I'm waiting for Sarg to add his sausage still

Karl Franz

It's awesome. Kind of wonky to go on caravans with them though, regarding food and fuel.

Oliver

I don't have time. But I'm REALLY looking forward to it!

AInmon

Using the mod in Rimworld or playing Baldur’s Gate is a genuine conundrum I’m having.

ParaNautic

I am waiting on tier 3 stuff :)

Oleg Oleg

I'm using combat extended and it'll be a while till I'll get to use it. Also, I tend to struggle with high tech stuffs and while it's not extreme, the amount of components needed means I wouldn't get a vehicle any time soon anyways

JamesTwice

Having fun, looking forward to seeing how it gets integrated into other mods

Toilailee

The release time was indeed a bit .. unfortunate. But on the plus side, maybe the warwalkers are out by the time I'm done with bg3 and cp2077 expansion so I get to play with the entire vehicle set from the start. :) edit: ... aand hopefully cai5000 which apparently isn't compatible yet which was slightly surprising..

Captain Noname

I'm just starting to create my new run. Waiting on CE to patch to really get into the armed vehicles, but hopefully that will be ready by the time I can build them in-game

Daniel

I'm, seemingly, one of the very few who isn't interested in it at all. Not to downplay anyone's involvement or the achievement this undoubtedly is. Its just not for me

TwoPenny

The siren call of Larion Studios has claimed me, sorry, Oskar

Nate Biggs

It's good. Still grappling with caravaning with it. But I'm very much waiting for t3 and t4. I want shuttles on par with SRTS but the cargo hold functionality of vehicles.

Silverskene

The mod is great and I will explain why I didn't choose "One of the best mods you've released." Reason 1: It seems very similar to other mods that came out months (or years) ago, which stole a little steam (no pun intended) from VVE. Reason 2: It feels incomplete without enemies being able to use vehicles or being able to scrap them. Reason 3: The overall features are fun, but the boat motion (for example) is choppy (again, no pun intended). Those are the negative because it could be useful, but I do want to say that it is a mod with lots of potential and I (like probably many others) can't wait until the rest of the planned features get released for it. Also, the mod customization settings are a really neat aspect!

Michael Shields

Yes, it's alright! - Some minor bugs which are proving annoying, but not sure if they are from Vehicle Framework or VVE

Starfoth

I'm really liking how the designs you seem to be going for so far are practical and not nonsense sci fi stuff. A lot of sci fi vehicle content rarely takes any sort of real concerns into vehicle designs.

sensual kazoo

I'm excited to play with it but I probably won't be playing much rim rim until I burn out on baldur's gate.

C.W. Elliotte

I have been looking forward to this mod for months, but I won't get to it until after Baldur's Gate 3. The timing is unfortunate.

TheSpookiestSkeleton

I'm waiting for CE to get their patch running so that the armored vehicles actually will feel like they're armored vehicles (ie not able to be disabled by pilas and pistols)

Akarthus

too busy with BG 3 and will be busy in a month with starfield

Steffen Lewis

I just have gotten time to play with RL stuff going on

SirRetinee

It's a great start. It'll only be that much better when all the extra functionality/modules are added to it. When aircraft are fully able to do attack runs on local tiles, this mod will replace SRTS and Aerocraft Framework in my load order. Seems to be the trend with VE mods; wait until you guys release your own spin on popular mods as they're innately compatible with the rest of your stuff. No fiddling with compability patches, no making them myself, It Just Works™

Techno FobiaV

I played the early version and encountered a lot of bugs, I hope most of them have already been fixed :)

P

I've only tested the mod in development mode and it's just excellent, but I've waited too long to prepare a perfect game for this mod and the incompatibility with cai500 is blocking me a bit. So fuck it, I'll wait a little longer, no big deal. I'm pretty busy in August, then there's starfield and payday 3 to keep me busy in September. I'm sure everything will be ready for my biker waster gang when I get back eh Anyway, respect to you and Phil, this mode makes srts a tiny mod, it's amazing. Sorry, i'm french and use a translator

yarilla

Just started a new colony, can't wait to finally get to research it and play with it!

Zac

Pretty fantastic, although I do think each tier of research should be locked behind the previous. At the moment you can just rush the bulldog tank while skipping tier 2 and flying vehicles

Natalie Redgrave

I held off on starting a playthrough since the date got announced, now I just gotta stop holding off haha

Ryker Hacking

Love the Mod! It is such a great addition to the game. The models all look professional and the huge variety is awesome! Even with just the first two tiers. I think like some others had said it would be just as fun to fight vehicles as it is to have them. Also the Caravan experience could use another pass. I don't like that my pawns load the car one item at a time though that is probably a framework issue. Thanks for making you guys are awesome!

Austin Lawlor

Going to wait for Deserters release :)

Ilias Shogenov

Started a new colony. I’m not there yet lol. Still sticks and stones oomga boonga

Thomas Pyke

This mod fundametally changes how Rimworld works - they're not just fancy drop pods, but fully functional vehicles with maintenance and resource requirements that can turn the tide of a battle or make your caravan that much more viable. Having a vehicle can be the difference between having to fight like a guerrilla, and having control of the battlefield. Amazing mods for just that alone.

Stim

Don't get me wrong, I WANT to like it because it provides some very important things that we previously did not have, but right now I am suffering several bugs that lower my experience tremendously. Still, I can agree it is a grand game-changer and once those last few bugs are patched I will probably consider it as crucial to every run as a cooking stove. And before you ask, those bugs seem related to the vehicles framework itself rather than VE Vehicles. And one where the scrapper meme does not apply to vehicles.

Rajesh King

feels like the tank armor is wayyyy too soft. conventional small arms shouldn't be doing any noticeable damage to the front at all, and maybe very, very minimal amount in the rear. charged weapons could cause some armor damage due to blast spalling. charge lances and heavy charge turrets might penetrate in the side or rear and damage internals, but only the likes of uranium cannons and field cannons should pen the front

Roku

Haven't been able to fully enjoy it because my laptop is just two stones taped together with pictures drawn on it. But I know I will enjoy it once I get my PC.

Apex Astro

Waiting for CE to complete their patch.

John Anderson

This is absolutely a must use mod for my deserters playthrough.

gb

Tried it out a little bit. I could see some of the vehicles being handy for combat, but so far caravanning is just aggravating. I'm guessing the problems I'm experiencing are Framework related rather than VE but I may end up leaving it for a week or two and seeing whether some of the rough edges have been worked out by then. The vehicles look great though!

Hyomoto

I also have problems with caravaning but it seems to be a design oddity, not a bug. This is just my expectation, but vehicles are faster than people yeah? Probably faster than horses? Maybe this is just a bug but the distance calculations for the caravan will often tell you the time to travel is the same as walking which seems... off. It might just be a display issue though?

Captain Crunch

A bit off topic but if I may ask, what’s the reasoning behind having a limited amount of jade tier memberships available?

Choppytehbear

I hope we get a Baneblade. 11 barrels of hell!

HeinrichK

can one add turrets to ships too? i would love a mortarship, giving artillery support for my land based invasion.

Karl Franz

not sure if this question is relevant to you or smashphil. when going on longer caravan trips with the vehicles, shouldn't bringing fuel with the supplies allow you to go farther? but how do i refuel my vehicles when they're out?

Lems ldc

<3 Thank for your hard work <3

gb

FWIW, warming to it a bit more now as I get more used to it. I think part of it is that there's a bit more of a learning curve to it than a lot of the VE mods. Probably doesn't help that I'm playing on a heavily wooded map so I had to clear a lot of terrain before my vehicles could get around. ...actually, you know what would be interesting? A bulldozer, either as a separate vehicle or as part of a vehicle upgrades system, something capable of crunching through trees and weaker structures.
